This is my submission for the Good vs Evil Contest, Bring Your Vision to Life. The explanation of my work is pretty simple. Every human being has a good side and a bad side. I just simply wanted to represent this concept using the all known theater masks that represent happiness and sadness and also make a "fight" between colours and non-colours (and these represent the good side and the bad side)
Hope you enjoy my work. I finished this in two weeks due to the multiple changes I made. Stock: the girl Used also a small Wacom tablet (and I loved it)
So here's my second entry for the "Wacom - Bring Your Vision to Life" contest. So this means that not everything that is pretty or looks good is good, and not everything that's ugly or looks bad (evil) is bad. In short - not everything is the way it seems. I hope I made sense Meaning - blue is evil and red is good... And usually people use them the other way round
Every comment, or even view is highly appreciated!!
Balloon: Symbolizes luck, its floating free in the air, happy with anything around it- it does not notice the evil one approaching. Demonbird: Symbolizes the evil, it is on the way to destroy the luck (good).
My second entry for the Bring Your Vision to Life Contest

Well I really want participate in this contest, and I know I have a very bad luck, so I am not looking to win, I want just show that the traditional art is a very great media, and it is very magic and very creative, because everything is made with one hand, one brain and much suffering. Without photoshop easy retouches. When I browse entries of this contest, I observed that the most of them are made with digital media, and some of them have used stock!!! While the traditional media is not very present. So I want make a creative idea with traditional media about the contest subject. The contest rules don't accept any deviation based on a stock, they require a creative idea from your mind, and sure by using the three lines, so I decided to make a drawing about the nature, I tried to create the earth planet on a women face, the details of the face are not real (eyes, nose...), so I can say it has a surreal touch! Well I drew on the left side a blue sky as a skin, a sun as an eye and a rainbow as a brow, clouds, and two peaceful birds. And on the right side -up- I made a beach, like a Hawaii beach! Two palms, and golden sand. At the bottom of this beach, I made a dark sky as the right side women skin, a moon as the second eye and two bats, that reminds me on the Halloween nights! Haha! Between those two skies, at the middle of the whole drawing, I made a high mountain and green trees near it, I want make the Amazon forest on this little space, just like a lung of the earth. At the bottom of the face, I made three parts, a colourful part as a spring, a hot part as a desert and a gray part represents the Island volcano. I also added an earth planet on the left side, and a space planet on the right side. and a lightning in the up as an earthquake. I didn't represent the whole earth on this face, but I've just made the most important parts of it. In general, I want represent the earth on a women face, just like the nature is our mother.
I used : Canson sketchbook paper A4 (180g/mē) - Staedtler hb pencil - Maped coloured pencils - tissues - right hand - a brain.
Comments and faves would be always welcome, as ever!
This is a work commenting on good vs evil. The dark hues engulfing the girl are the evil of this world, the ribbon, the brightest thing in this image is the good keeping her safe, showing her that evil is a part of the world, but it is the small amounts of good and hope that keep us going.
This is a concept I have had for a long time, it is nice to see it finally a reality! I hope you all enjoy and have a good day.
For the "Bring your vision to life" contest. Please favourite, I would love to be in the running for this! Thankyou =]
