spent a lot of time on this one getting the lighting and textures just right. Most of my time on this was spent on my long boring train rides. :nod:

This is one of my submissions to the "Lost Lands" contest.

For this image, I wanted to capture the natural calm beauty of space as well as try to give the viewer a deep space feeling. The feeling of vast openness was my ultimate goal. I also wanted to focus my attention on a primary focal point, the moon. It was a moon i spent tremendous time on, and in the end, the detail payed off. I am very pleased with this outcome! :D

It should be a galaxy, but... it's a really really bad galaxy :D.
I totally changed my idea, maybe becouse I have no idea how to do a galaxy :-O.
