When I miss you, I lie down and I daydream
I can feel your weight on my arm and your breath at my neck and I drift off to sleep. Nothing else matters as long as I'm free to believe because when I close my eyes, you're right there next to me, and that is all that I need. When I awake, I'm at peace after a long night with you lying next to me. It's not quite the same, but I'll live with this precious white lie when you're over three hundred miles as the crow flies.
When I feel lost and alone, I look to the sky. I spot the North Star, and I find myself lost again, in your innocent brown eyes. I find your sensuous smile and I wear your hug like Orion's belt. I can feel your warmth radiating in the Milky Way. And I know
