Hey gang!

Finally getting some stuff up from Saturday's SketchBomb. :iconfrogbillgo: turned me on to some new supplies and now I don't have to do it digitally anymore. I used to just draw with a ballpoint pen on white paper and then have to apply a ton of shit in PS to make it mid-tone. Now I am using mid-tone paper, carmine red pencils, ballpoint pen, and white paint pen.

This page has 3 random heads and a certain street fighter.

Hope ya dig!

Ok,

So these aren't all from September. The Penguin is from the Chicago SketchBomb and the Shout head is from a couple weeks ago. But the rest is up to date! I didn't post some because they either weren't good enough or would have been a bitch to put together. Trust me... you're not missing anything.

We had a blast Saturday night. Tons of fun to be had. I'll post an update soon. The topics from Saturday that are in this are "villain of your design" and a "pirate cat" which are Dr. ScrewEyes and the Yeargh!-Cat respectively.

Hope everyone digs the sketches!

Heyooooo,

I did these while waiting for my wife to get her new tattoo. I wasn't actually in a waiting room, I was right there, I just thought it would be a good name.

I promise I'll get some sort of actual illustration up again soon.

Peace and Carrots!

Konban wa!

After SketchBomb a few of us went to a bar. By this time I was pretty hammered. These are the sketches I did while "toasty". Just a touch of digital on these to get them all on to one page.

Two Street Fighter dudes in this one!

Hey goons and goonettes!

Just a quick upload before I dig back into work. SDCC was awesome. Lots of cool stuff and cooler people.

Here's what I did when I wasn't talking to someone.

Peace and carrots!

Hey gang!

Finally got my sketches from the last SketchBomb event scanned. It was a ton of fun. I couldn't ask for a greater group of goons to sketch with.

Check out the SketchBomb group to see all the other peeps' work.

:iconsketchbomb-sf:

July is an Uber-busy month for me so I don't know yet when the next SketchBomb will be... but it will be!

Hey gang!

Finally got my sketches up from all the recent activity. What you're looking at was done at the first :iconsketchbomb-sac: , Saturday's :iconsketchbomb-sf: , and the Alternative Press Expo killing time at the booth with :iconhainanuisance: .

Since people always ask what the themes are/were at SketchBombs, I included them and I'll give a brief explanation. Every theme is meant to be interpreted however you wish. So if something is "Wings" it could be a winged apple or the cast of Wings. We like to keep it loose.

@ SketchBomb - Sacramento we did Looney Toons, Alien Design, Creepy Clown, and "What if Batman and Robin's backstories were switched?" Sadly, the last one isn't in this sheet because I gave it to Nu that night.

@ SketchBomb - San Francisco the themes were Halloween, Wings, Telescope, and Masks.

@ APE we asked a random person what to draw. He said a giraffe flying. That's where that comes from, hehe. The dude with the distorted head was from Nu and I trying to draw a face that was horribly distorted but not necessarily from something specific like a gun. And the chubby dude with all the hair was just random, hehe.

So, that's that. Hope you guys dig the work!

Peace and Carrots,

M!
