Minecraft PVP VideoRemember a few weeks back when I asked if anyone wanted to join me in a Minecraft survival PVP game? Well, I recorded some of my gameplay with everyone and made a simple video. It's been uploaded to the Fresh Epic's youtube channel and you can watch it right here:Minecraft PVP Video3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I've been wanting to try and set up a Minecraft series of videos with other Fresh Epic members like Dayvi and Humon, but setting it all up has proved to be a little more complicated and time consuming than I thought... so I just started recording my own experiences. I'm not very good at PVP, but I enjoyed making the video and hope to make more.
If you've got some suggestions on what either I or other Fresh Epics artists could do/play in Minecraft or whatever, leave them below. Also, thumb up and like the video if you enjoyed it.
Is the Console War Over Before It Began? At the risk of perpetuating the stereotype of being a blatant Nintendo fanboy, I have to say that out of the 3 console systems coming out, it's only Nintendo's which actually seems to have a sort of purpose to it. The latest details for the Xbox One show that pretty much every aspect of gaming culture that we hate has been incorporated into it. Needing to check in every 24 hours to make sure you've legally bought a game? Check. Not able to bring games over to a friend's house unless your friend ALSO buys the game? Check. Forcing game stores to sign an agreement to pay Microsoft a large percentage of the used sale fee? Check. More motion controls? Check. Inability to let independent-developers make games on their system? Check. Not backwards compatible? Check. Stronger emphasis on watching TV and movies than playing games? Check. Seriously, this is like a check list of all the worse possible things to include in a gaming console.
By that account, the PS4 is doing
The good ol' daysI remember a time when I would come on here routinely and vent all my feelings for no other reason than just that. The good ol' days2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I think part of the reason I felt the need to do that here is because in my mind, you liking my art means potentially you like me as a person. This is not necessarily the case, but maybe in some instances it is.
Since a while back when all of us UDON folks went off to our own places away from a centralized studio, I've started to feel a sort of distance from the scene and my cohorts. As time went on, I got married and now have two kids, while manyof my coworkers don't and that is not a chastisement.
However, having a family of your own is a full time thing and one that needs constant communication and planning to get the most of. Many things that seem so unclear manifest themselves only well after the point, and all in all its a learning game that never stops.
Because of a number of factors, I also just turned off all external media out of sheer disinterest. I never watche

The Real Pros:
I have met some of the best artists in my industry and by and large they were humble and well adjusted people. These folks are the types who are approachable and don't spend time basting in their own glory, and can be spoken to like humans and not pompous self inflated stars.
You pros who look down on people just because you think you have a talent that happens to be praiseworthy in this century, keep in mind you still meet death like all of us, you still walk the planet with waste within you like all of us, you can have your talent taken from you in one quick accident. Here but by God's Grace, your talent is not guaranteed for tomorrow, neither is your life nor health, so show some humility, it all can be taken from you in heartbeat. You're an entertainer, and everyone's equally important whether a baker or accountant since we all contribute to society. Having status is a test to show if you're going to be a

Tis a Spam ZombificationYesterday I posted the Journal below as I had just reported the 5th spam message in a day. That amount tripled since thenTis a Spam Zombification3 years ago in Personal More Like This
According to my DeviantART experience I noticed that those messages are usually posted by fake accounts, created on the same day. But that seems to be different about the current spam wave because I noticed that some of them accounts are fairly old, sometimes more than 8 years and apparently belong to actual people that used to post some Art.
My guess is that's a Spam Zombification. You become a Spam Zombibot once you're infected. Ehmagherd.
If I ever post a message asking you to look at some tasteful porn on your page, or to become your own BAWS by clicking on some nifty link that I decided to share because I'm friendly like that, it isn't me. It's no longer me. Finish me off.
Excuse is now settled
Joke aside though, don't click on those or you might get hacked as well or catch some annoying shit for yo kompyuta

North American and Japanese Sonic OriginsThe Original American Storyline:North American and Japanese Sonic Origins4 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Sonic the Hedgehog grew up with his forest friends in the Green Hill Zone of the planet Mobius. Orphaned at an early age, Sonic fell in with a clan of rambunctious animal friends who taught him a variety of skills and tricks that you'll see him use in his video games today.
Johnny Lightfoot, a rabbit, showed Sonic how to outrun every creature in the forest, while Sally Acorn, a squirrel, taught Sonic how to jump incredible distances. A bluebird Flicky, influenced Sonic with his happy fearless approach to life: Joe Sushi, a walrus instructed Sonic on how to dive and swim, while a penguin, Tux, taught Sonic how to breathe underwater.
With the help of his many friends, Sonic developed cleverness, speed and a certain amount of "forest smarts."
Perhaps the most important lesson of all was from Chirps, a chicken, who inadvertently helped Sonic develop the Super Sonic Spin Attack. You see, as Chirps was learning to fly, he

Dungeons and Dragons Antheia AnRaza II
When you think Dungeons and Dragons, you may be inclined to picture a dark basement with broody, antisocial teens whispering spells and incantations over leather-bound tomes.
Perhaps D&D owes its cultural notoriety to the religious backlash against it in the 80s, as well as the over-the-top depiction of fantasy gaming and its players

In The Shadow of Dragons
"Is the time of daring deeds forgotten, and spent the fire of men? The bravery sheathed, the proud hearts withered? In the scorched trails of our foes’ fury, even wizards’ spells knelt and warriors’ will bent; yet Dawn’s struggle beneath the burning clouds, within the shadow of dragons, has won her the eastern sky. Shall battle drums thunder once more, and mithril–clad soldiers brave again the terrors of the skies?"

Security is an Iceberg: And it's on the moveAs some of you may be aware, there's been a number of steps taken lately to enhance security here at deviantART. Some of this has been prompted by the growth of deviantART as a company: the checks and measures that work for a small company start to be outgrown; and some have been in response to community concerns in recent weeks.Security is an Iceberg: And it's on the move5 years ago in Personal More Like This
Some of the noticeable changes have included rolling out increased use of secure pages (SSL) across the site, the new grace-period on account deactivations, and as of last week, the requirement to confirm your password when changing your email.
What you won't have seen is the behind-the-scenes and lower-profile work that has also been happening, such as the strengthened password requirements that went live two weeks ago and ensuring that the tools that touch your data leave an adequate audit trail. (Exciting stuff!)
Security is an ongoing process, which means that there's more changes coming. In the coming days and weeks we will be making changes "under the ho

Something ExcitingYesterday I got a fortune cookie.Something Exciting1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Its message was vague and general, like most fortunes are: "An unexpected event will soon make your life more exciting." (Also, my lucky numbers are 6, 9, 13, 19, 40, and 46)
Even knowing it's fake and lazy, I've been clinging to that cookie's message ever since, because the thought of something exciting happening feels like the only thing I have left to look forward too. Something else happened yesterday, and it was weird -- I thought of suicide for the first time in a year or more. It was only a brief instant, a short-lived death wish, but it shuddered down my spine all the same. It came as I was imagining myself ending up in the same place I've been, still living near my parents, scraping by at the same job I have now, without fulfilling a single one of the dreams that make me live. It occurred to me in that moment that it's a very real possibility; I've dropped out of college, so I don't have much chance of making much money, unles

Grim Reapers for the Panty and Stocking UniverseIt has come to my attention that there is only a tiny number of Grim Reapers for the Panty & Stocking Universe, and I feel that there should be more.Grim Reapers for the Panty and Stocking Universe3 years ago in Personal More Like This
The reason for this is because the concept of Grim Reapers is not developed in PASWGB, but I am here to remedy that.
How to develop a Grim Reaper OC
1. Your Grim Reaper's skin color will be Grey to differentiate from other characters. (Angels have Human Skin, Demons have Red Skin, etc)
2. Your Grim Reaper's weapons will be colored green and purple to differentiate from other weapons. (Angel Weapons are White and Blue, Demon Weapons are Black and Yellow, etc)
3. Your Grim Reaper originates from Purgatory but is sent to Daten City to perform special assignments. These jobs consist of Bounty Hunting Demons (or Angels), hunting Ghosts, or transporting the spirits of the dead to Purgatory for Judgement.
4. Your boss' name is Death, the original Grim Reaper. He will give assignments to

High Voltage: Beginnings comic
As of right now, the production of this comic is on hiatus. The first 45 pages for this comic have been officially completed as of last week. With that being said, after taking some time to turn my script into panels, I have 45 more pages to go. In other words High Voltage: Beginnings will be a total of 90 pages. This leads to me to my next topic of discussion...
High Voltage Kickstarter
In order to get the final 45 pages done, I am going to start up a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for this comic. I've already started crafting this campaign and putting things into motion. With these designs:
I am hoping to offer up some diverse rewards from my High Voltage store

Winter is Coming
Few phrases are more closely associated with the Game of Thrones fandom than this one. We know that winters in Game of Thrones are long, often lasting several years. It is also difficult for people in that world to predict when the seasons will change, the Citadel even has a special, rare breed of white raven they send out to deliver the news of the changing season. While this may just be the way that the seasons in the world of Game of Thrones
