Tapping away at a small handheld computer, Motoko sighed. Time for another job sent by her employers. Well, the term employers used in the broadest possible form. Motoko tucked the small computer away and stood up. She glanced at her surroundings. Mist enveloped the scenery, turning everything a murky gray tone. If one found them self in an area such as this, they wouldn't even know which was was up, down, left or right. Regardless, Motoko began walking, seeming to know her exact destination.
The fog parted after a distance and Motoko emerged by a small house. Taking out the computer she checked the address sent to her. It matched up. Someone in that house was an inch from death. Literally.
Motoko walked up to the house and turned the handle on the door. The door had previously been locked but the catch snapped open to Motokos touch. She entered the house, not countin

Becoming a fugitive wasn't one of Aker's best thought out plans. In fact, it was probably his worst idea to date. True, he didn't stand out much like a conventional archangel, especially when he could hide his wings, but he still didn't blend well with any crowd. With his monochromatic mohawk, tattoos on his face, eccentric piercings and the fact he was nearly 7ft tall, he was easy for his pursuers, the Powers, to spot and try to take down.
Aker was the very definition of a sore thumb.
After a few weeks moving from place to place, Aker decided that perhaps his actions that got him into this situation in the first place were a little hasty (his pride keeping him from fully regretting them).
Once he started contemplating shaving his mohawk clean off to throw the Powers off track he knew something had to be done about his new found lifestyle.
And he knew just who to talk to about it.
Aker risked a lot coming back to heaven that night. He kept high up so the ground patrol wouldn't not

Azalea's eyes showed how terrified she was. Aker could only look down at her, with his panic-stricken face, not knowing what to say. Azalea let go of his shirt and stepped backwards again. She shook her head and held her hands to her mouth, biting her fingers.
"A-azalea, wait, I can explain..." Aker paused as he saw Bee plod sleepily out of one of the bedrooms and lumbered over to Azalea. Noticing something was wrong he became more alert.
Chepi could do nothing but watch as the tears formed in Azalea's eyes and ran down her cheeks. S

Another day to pass, another day of strife
But this day is special, the 9th of October
'Cause this day is when Aku began her life
She grows a little every 9th of October
This is my first time witnessing this
I wanna make this special, this 9th of October
This is an opportunity too great to miss
I first wanna say Happy Birthday to You
And may all your wishes be fulfilled
From across the world I write this lyric to you
I'd write you a kajillion more forever until
I've met some great people through you, Aku
Electronic-Persona is the best thing ever
We're all your friends, and we really love you
You're amazing; there's probably no one better
Go celebrate your birthday! Have some fun!
I'd throw a cake at my screen if I knew it'd go through
And at the end of the day, when all's said and done
Come here to dA to see what we've did for you
I can't speak for everyone, but all I can give now
Is a nice digital present and this rhyme

Ambition and SolitudeSoli and Ten stood face to face, time frozen around them. Soli was finding it more and more eerie to be separated from everyone and be enclosed in this vast frozen world with Ten, a man she had known for less than a day and already she knew she didn't like him, her only defense being her spear which she clutched in her hands. Worse still it was Ten who had frozen time in the first place and he could thaw it whenever he desired to, not when Soli wished. And she was wishing hard.Ambition and Solitude3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Soli knew the only way to get him to cease his irritating powers was to answer his questions, mainly about herself and Aker. She figured because Ten and Aker were as close as brothers he was just worried about him. They'd also been separated for over sixty years after Ten became a fallen angel and had no contact with Aker whatsoever. Soli grudgingly answered his questions, delving further into her own feelings.
Ten wasn't standing with his usual stature, Soli noted. He was listening to whatever she said but he s

Why , she thought to herself, why did I do that why did I kiss him why did I admit that I liked him Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. Savagely, she wiped them away and grabbed at her head, closing her eyes tightly. She shouldn't have kissed him admitted she liked him
And now she couldn't see him. She had to keep away.
"Maybe it's a good thing he stops by here every so often maybe it's a good thing that I get called away to do cipher jobs " she mused.
Good? How was that good? Being away would only make her anxious to see him again. Letting out a groan, she flopped into her swivel chair and covered her eyes with her arms. What she wouldn't give to welcome the darkness as a brief respite
It was not so. The scene replayed before her eyes like a movie. The two of them talking her admitting she liked him

"Hey, you're a tough guy. Now stop fidgeting."
In the living room of the EP House, everyone was watching the current doctoring of Gideon's broken arm by Claris, who had arrived beforehand just as Brünhilde said. Azalea stood next to the collapsible table Gideon was laying on belly-down. She gazed at him nonstop as Claris stood on the other end of the cushioned table maneuvering Gideon's arm. Gideon grunted.
"Azalea," he said. "I'm sure there is something else you can be doing to occupy yourself right now."
"But Azalea wants to see you get better," Azalea said with a smile. "Maybe if Claris fixes your arm, Azalea will see a smile on your face."
"Yeah, seeing Gideon smile is almost as rare as gravity reversing on the world," Maxy snidely remarked as she passed through the living room. Gideon only grunted again.
What Maxy said spurred thought in Kris's mind, though. "Hey wh

Lightning overhead wasn't the only clashing element. Raging fires and gusts of murky dust surrounded the cragged ground. Every now and then infernos erupted from random parts of the ground, blending with huge flashes of heavenly but destructive bursts of light. In the midst of it all were hundreds of moving figures.
On the horizon's hill stood a troop of heavily armed men, all wielding supernatural and antique-like weapons. They all looked on at the barren and exploding field; their eyes were like spears, piercing the scenery and never looking away. Gridiron boon helmets sat atop their heads, most of them adorned with scratches, dents, burn marks and a red insignia resembling an alchemic circle. One of the men stood out on a huge rock overlooking it all behind the troop. H

Her hand stayed glued over her mouth; Gabriel's eyes have never looked sadder as he read the fine print on the front of the paper. I deal in beauty, in the arts. She explained.
Arts? What do you mean? What sort of arts? I didn't get it. How could she deal in 'beauty' by dealing in the arts?
I will explain, She informed me, gazing out at the miserable masses on the streets. I write. I put my pen to the paper, and beauty pours forth.
I wasn't so sure about this. Those business letters I received every day certainly couldn't be considered art.

How long has it been since I've felt it?
It feels like forever and yet... no time at all, both at the same time.
And now the feeling is becoming too much. I have to open my eyes.
The very first thing I saw when I opened my eyes were my own hands. They looked foreign. Not the hands I last remembered seeing. The ones I remember were pale and never stopped shaking. These ones were much brighter... and stronger.
After my hands came into focus I became aware of my breathing. I inhaled a little too sharply and coughed a little, unused to the sensation. All sorts of memories were flooding back to me. So many I thought my brain was about to break. I didn't even have time to dwell on a single one. They all rushed past, so many faces, sounds and sensations. I had to hold my head in order to keep myself intact.

A poem from Kiron to Yuki.
My heart it calls out to the distant sky,
It shouts something but all it can do is cry,
Something cries along with my heart.
But I know not who it is that cries along,
The wind it shouts for me to run,
And follow someone that I know I cannot.
Though all I see and feel is hate,
Though I'm broken, I'll follow and wait,
For one day I know that love will come.
I know that our pain is great,
And that our spirits know not our fate,
But somehow I know that our suffering will be undone.
I give a part of myself to you,
And hope you can see the simple truth,
That I will find you and you will find me on the winding road.
I see the future that is us,
And I see the past that was,
And now my road comes to a better turn.
We met many hardships upon our own,
From barriers that we have sown,
But for now we will rest from that winding road.
