and the next awesome model is done
:iconvictorydanceplz: :hooray: :icondweebdanceplz: :iconcarameldansenplz: :happybounce: :squee:

that's the reason why i just love this shit so much :D
and i just knew it would be cool

as i saw this model for, well, meanwhile also over a year ago ^^;
i just had to ask :iconsanat49: sanat49 for it
and i'm very thankfull and proud that he spend his original mesh for a papercraft project :huggle:
Crock by sanat49
the cool thing about this model is, that it's an entry for the pre-DominanceWar V competition, where i'm also a huge fan of :la:
what made this model, not the first Dominance War Papercraft, but the first downloadable (ironic hint to an other crafter ;P ) and hopefully definetly not my last ;)
but that's up to the 3d designer ;)

ok now, back to the model
the last steps, where you have to combine all parts will be exhausting
specially for the big shoulder armor pieces
there is not many space for glue or failures so be patience
test it out first where you can attach the pieces

also you have to put some weight into the rear leg or maybe both
maybe you noticed also that i attach the model a bit displaced at the pedestal
i had to do this because of the weight ratio
it's a lot testing and trying
so don't hurry ;)

file description:
the file contains as always three pdo files
one with texture and folding lines
one with texture and without folding lines
and one white version with folding lines

so you need the Pepakura Viewer what you can get "here"

all three pdo's are not protected
so if you have the Designer, you can edit the sheets in the way you want :)

the original texture is NOT included

model description:
the model come on 27 pages with 290 pieces and is 30cm tall

the model is actually not hard but the mouth take a bit more work as i thought
also the first three rings of the arms
the skulls and bones of the pedestal are very small but it's up to you if you wanna build them
i removed the lower site of the pedestal, it is too big for one page
but just glue the whole thing at a blank sheet and you have the same effect ;)

difficult level is about 7/10
if you have any trouble, feel free to ask me or/and take a look at the "building process gallery" where i explain how this and that is working :)

to download the model
click on the download button on the right side
you can thank dA for, that i can't write the direct link anymore

some words to the bloggers

because this is a collab, you have to give credits to :iconsanat49: sanat49 too!
otherwise i can't allow it to write a blog entry

you have the permission to use my photos
you DON'T have the permission to use his renders ore screenshot of it
except he allow it

this model is a Deviantart only download
so do not upload this model somewhere else
and the most important thing

this model is free and should it be
so let it be!

and trust me, i search for my stuff ;)

feel also free to write a critique :)

Buzz Lightyear!
He took a lot of time. I started him on wednesday. Thats a long time to take on a papercraft for me. haha. Not only did I have to go to school and such, he also had a lot of very tiny details. Each of his fingers were a pain. (They bend around behind the hand). Also, I don't have a bookcase yet, so I had to take his picture on the floor. booo.

But yeah. This was fun. My room mates have been seeing him take shape and will be exited to see him finished when they return from their escapades in the Harvard area.

This is (hopefully) the final version of the origami zergling. I got a comment from a user, whos name will not be mentioned but in comments if so wished, who said that the body looks a bit off, comparitively to the real zergling. So, I altered it. Ta da.

I won't make a tutorial for it, but I will tell you this. I switched the flaps for the legs with the ones for the arms, and folded the crest down into the head. Ta da.

So, without further adue, I bid you all adue. (IfI spelled that right.) Enjoy! Ta da.

This is the Iron Man Helmet by ScannerJoe ([link])
Which is done by Dung0beetle ([link])
ScannerJoe just edited his Stuff.

Its easy wearable and have a moveable neck to fit your head, and you can shift the faceplate to the top to :)

But it still needs a painting and the led eyes, but i dont know right now when i will have the time for it :(
Now it looks like im building a more accurate version done by Dung0beetle, and let this one be a WIP for ever

This is the 51st piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Mechanized Curvature.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets. Gears, metal findings, and other various things are also added.

This is definately something that I haven't really experimented with, before, but I really enjoyed creating it and I had a lot of fun with the little tedious swirls. Each little curl ends with a swirl and a little gear coming from the center.

In the front of the heart, there is a hole in which a few gears sit as well. Instead of going for gold and silver, all the details have been touched with pastel coloured metallics for a softer look with a little touch of magic. Hehe.

The entire thing has been antiqued with black acrylics to give it an aged and used feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
