A perfect remedyFrom your body my sun does rise......A perfect remedy5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Your lips provide my breath,
Passing, at their touch, a flush of life,
Evoking in once bitten-to-brittle flesh
The feeling that your sun rises from me
At the beckoning of your touch.
Each of your tracing fingerprints
Leaving a freckling of dew
As if I have become your world.
The promise of your warmth
Steeps my aching bones in a perfect remedy,
As with tenderness you coax, from me, a smile,
Nourished by the hands cupped around my face,
Rich as earth.
Real Boy"I am a real boy!" I scream into your ears. My knuckles grip tighter on the silk of your worn out blouse, and I pull myself closer to your chest, looking up at your mourning face.Real Boy6 years ago in Horror More Like This
You descend down from the dark staircase, closer to the warmth of the fire and the sparks that flutter wildly like butterflies taking flight around it.
"I am a real boy! Believe me!" I say trembling.
"No!" You shriek back in disbelief, " your not a real boy! I carved you from wood, now hush demon!"
"Mommy... Please!" I stutter out, shaking with confusion.
You walk closer to the fireplace holding me restlessly in your warm, flaky arms.
I hold my ears to your chest to listen to your heart beat.
"Mommy we both have heart beats see," I tell you as I hold your hand to my chest, " Believe me I am real!"
My words appear to fall upon deaf ears as the only thing she does is remove her hand from my chest.
I feel the heat biting at my flesh, feeding off of me. We stop a mere foot from the hands of
you're like strawberriesYou're just like strawberries;you're like strawberries6 years ago in Horror More Like This
Your freckles sewn without precaution to your gaunt cheeks.
Untidy hair on atop your head like the crown of leaves over the head of a strawberry.
Growing gently to the rhythm of the sun's songs.
Your both actually quite sweet as well, and, funny thing is, is that you both go rotten too.
Your both magnolia-red, too, with your silk woven hair, and strawberries with their blushing skin.
In addition to your physical appearances you both act the same, like how you would find strawberries lying abroad in the mattress of the soil in the fields, looking into the night sky at exploding supernovas, just like you always have.
Although, I must say that the most peculiar thing that you and strawberries have in common, is that when I slice you both up, you both bleed.

Doodling as my friends call it,
Putting your thoughts,
And Power into something,
That can never move.
A fun little challenge.
The Pen is mightier than the sword,
A Poem can hurt more than the cruelest torture,
It can heal more than the strongest medicine,
It is simple,
Just what you think,
And you'll get someone,
Somewhere in the world,
"I love it!"
You can do a lot,
It calls to that little part of you,
The part that wants to create,
To form something,
Something only you can do,
Capturing the greatest,
And worst moments.
Hoping to get the little bit of thought,
For something that can only happen once,
Something that can only be thought of once,
I don't know,
Because it looks cool.

He worked with his eyes and hands in perfect unison. The teachers sighed as he swam through his classes absentmindedly, imagination focused on higher goals. Numbers and report cards were meaningless. Math instructors were more eager to see his artwork, crammed into the margins of his assignments, than to award his effortless high grades.
He didn't think he was special. I don't think he thought of himself at all. The world he had created was one of pure fiction and impossibility, and was as limitless as the heavens. He was not included. Maybe the same way God doesn't participate in the earth he made.
He loved people. He loved me especially for who I was. I'd never met anyone more honest or, coincidentally, more kind. His compliments would breathe life into a dying day, for they were as genuine and precious as diamond. That smile of his let me know that it was free.

In the harshness of the cold.

I will see you with the dawn.

Romantic/ Human Nature
It's just another day,
I'll get through it,
Like I did long ago,
Like I did before I knew you.
It's just another crack,
In the glass,
In my heart.
I've waited already,
It's just some more time,
It's just another hour.
Stop saying sorry,
I know you are,
I know you love me.
Looking for YouIts times like these where I need you here. (for nothing more than to just hold me) I need you to tell me everything is going to be ok; that I am not alone. I dont care about your faults or how many hearts you have broken in the past. (I see right through all of that) To me youre an angel. You were sent from above to give me a reason to live; a reason to love. (It is for this very reason that I believe in a God) I know that sometimes Im not the nicest person and I tend to act like an idiot, but (There are many nights where I make you cry) at least I always come back to clean up my messes and to hold you while you let out the tears. (You always do the same for me) Before I met you I had trouble seeing the good in anything, especially in my own life. I would walk the streets with my head hanging low, trying my hardest to avoid eye contact with others. (I now stare into your eyes for hours and walk down the street head hLooking for You6 years ago in General More Like This

the stars escape

Where secrets in the shadows dwell,
We join you as you fall asleep.
Into your head feel fingers creep
On your sleeping mind they'll cast a spell
Fall into dreaming, dark and deep.
All thoughts of hope from you we sweep,
Your skull a barless prison cell
We join you as you fall asleep.
Your fears a harvest for us to reap,
Spread plagues, create your personal hell
Fall into dreaming, dark and deep.
We have deaf ears, can't hear you weep,
Can't hear you cry, can't hear you yell
We join you as you fall asleep.
You'll 'pray the lord your soul to keep'
Fragments inside your broken shell
Fall into dreaming, dark and deep
We join you as you fall Asleep.

Do you even wanna talk to me?
I look again
I click on your name
And I type "hi"
The Dark LordIn the Dark I have walkedThe Dark Lord6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
And with mighty demons talked
I was feared throughout the land
And thousands died by my command.
All trembled at my very name
For me the Darkest creatures came
I swept aside the fools of Light
And ushered in my endless Night.
Often did the heroes appear
And raise an army of sword and spear
I broke them all and reigned supreme
I laughed at every cry and scream.
Yet one day my power broke
And my empire went up in smoke
By a childs hand I was undone!
My Night was shattered by the sun!
In the Dark I stormed in rage
Desperate to escape my cage
My cunning mind formed my plan
And so my revenge began.
Peoples minds I visited in sleep
And left my darkness there to creep
That is where Ive left my mark
I cannot be defeated: I live in every human heart.

Beneath the needlework of this ground
I am exhausted by the stitch of groaning roots
Between the echo of every footfall I compose passion
With notes that crawl like black ants across the skin.
Not the weed that sneaks like a finger through the black dust
Not the pedals closed like a fist around their colors in the dark
Not the cold in my cracked dirt caked hands
Could stop me from digging this hole
So something around here can be beautiful.
Anonymously pinned under 2 a.m. stars.
The gray dirt rolling off my knees.
