Since I have a few fairytale patterned fabrics, and mostly because I love fairytales, I thought I'd make a collection of Storybook Rag Pets.
I started with "Princess and the Pea" by H.C. Andersen. Princess's dress is made with fabric from the "Far Far Away" collection by Heather Ross and the collar, as well as her bow, is from Marimekko "Muija" fabric.
Princess herself is made out of soft, grey wool flannel and she has a fancy mother-of-pearl button for a belly button. She has safety eyes and pretty blushy cheeks.
