First off:
The main frame of the body was designed by [link] The break Gundam which looks sweet.
The Background is made by [link] I just chopped it up to fit better.

Medabots Next Generation.
The Medabots are about 7ft to 8 ft tall, they are still controlled by there medafighters, but now! All the robattles are done in sectioned of areas of ruined cities....which means more weapons, more explosions!

Haha, yeah...i couldn't help it lol
Either way, Medabots are made by...i dont even know if there still around, but still a F-ing good show back in the day haha.

again a part with a lot of pieces :aww:
the first five screenshots are again the pieces which are for the hip

i promissed that i make a few photos of this boosters
well, these are a bit more complex as the others but base on the same technique

first i cut them out and build the single rings
i also removed the tabs for the inside ring
quite useless for me
at the fourth photo you can see the final pieces
because the sheets are designed for colored cardboard paper there are no tabs for the bottom piece where the peak as to be attached on
so i just colored a little paper piece with black marker and glued it on top (you can see it at the left piece)

then i put some glue at the inside of the tube and put it on top of the inside ring
after it's dry, i add the peak
quite simple, if you know how it works ^^;

piece overview 1
as always, here are all pieces what you need for the hip

po2
again one of those problems when you work with normal paper
to combine this pieces i just add a little tab at the backside and cut two lines into the base piece

po3
this one took me really long to figure out
first i thought the smaller piece has to be attached to the hip base but that doesn't work
because the black flat pieces where all the parts has to be attached fit exactly to the hip base
so this was the only solution

i scratched the color where this pieces has to be combined

po4
lego is just boring against this :D

po5
and e viola
the final hip :meow:

Part One of my October Special. In honor of SA2HD getting released october 3rd in europe.

I won't release all 7 crafts on the same day. I'll start with sonic on October 2nd. Tails comes in two versions. This one is the hard one, ripped from generations. The other one, simpler, froms Sa2B.

The Sa2B is a LOT easier than this one, i'm glad this thing can stand!

Hope y'all like it. Please Comment

when i take a look at the little hint in description of Pegasusmon, that i wrote at that time
i never thought, that I would be the one who build myself a model of Renamon...
lol and i never thought that it would take quite one year for this :D
ok, not reall but it took me the longest time

it was pure coincidence that i found one day an image of Renamon in my messagebox also with some free resources

i started to edit the model but it was not "that thing"
the model was in a x-stance and i had no idea what i should do with the fur
so i stopped the work and build some others

then it also was the time i had no access to my PC and the time passed
after a while a second image pop up in my message box

and i just thought
"HOW FUCKING SWEET IS THAT !?
THAT'S IT!! :omg: :wow:

so i ask :iconkp-shadowsquirrel: KP-ShadowSquirrel, owner of both models, if he would spend....if he got a low-res version of it ^^; and then if he would spend it for a project.
so you can call this officially my second collaboration :)

i don't know but i found that 2D-3D convertions always look like ass (best example, Simpsons :D )
except one, those from nintendo
take sonic, mario, the pokemon, zelda, they really found a way to convert them

but there is also one who managed it
and in an awesome way
yes i mean you :iconkp-shadowsquirrel: KP-ShadowSquirrel ;)

this model of Rena is just super cool
and i don't say that just simply :)

the editing was not easy to remove all the clippings but after the third attempt it worked
and i can tell you people, this was just fun to build :dummy:
and the result...even i was blown away :icontardboogieplz:

the final building process was the hardest part
it took all my knowledge and techniques to combine all pieces together
holding the model until the glue is sticky
press the taps with tweezers over three edges
put the finger inside and press from the other side with something flat (sounds stupid but maybe you know what i mean :D )
so i declare this to difficult level 6 of 10

About the Fur:
well, i thought a long time what i can use for the fur
because the original mesh was not possible to build (defenitly)
so i decided to make it out of cotton wool
haha, it took me one hour to peel it in the right shape
but it was worth :)

Specifications:
in the download file you will find three pdo's
one with folding lines and texture (lined)
one with folding lines but without texture (white label)
and one without folding lines but with texture (lineless)

so you need as always the Pepakura Viewer which you can download here

the model comes on 23 pages
with 238 pieces

the file also contains a modified texture that works for the model and some color dots that i have used to prevent some texture issues

i didn't write a instruction
is hard but sorted in the way you should build it
but if you have any question either, take a look at the building process gallery ore just ask me :meow:

to download the model just click download ore here :)

-update-
i also uploaded now the sheets in pdf format
you can download them here

what's left?

some word to the bloggers

because this is a collab, you have to give credits to :iconkp-shadowsquirrel: KP-ShadowSquirrel too!
otherwise i can't allow it to write a blog entry

you have the permission to use my photos
you DON'T have the permission to use the renders ore screenshot of it of KP-ShadowSquirrel
except he write it here in the comments ore you ask him about it

this model is a Deviantart only download
so do not upload this model somewhere else
and the most important thing

this model is free and should it be
so let it be!

and trust me, i search for my stuff ;)

if you wanna write a critique
feel free
but don't critique the model itself

ah yeah :)
:iconjyxxie:, :iconp-m-f: and :iconz8-0: (correct me if i forgot one ^^; ) started a new blog about Digimon Papercraft here
take a look and add the link to your faves, there will come some really cool stuff :w00t:

.....

and now?

So, how about some Medabots/Medarot?
Yes?
No?

Either way, this kit has been in my collection for a long time. Never invested any time into it because it was too damn work intensive. Sealing, modding, redoing, beating the shit out of shitty parts, modding some more, customizing pieces, sculpting, etc...

Either way, I like how it turned out. Good thing Koto is popping out a new and modern version of this kit. This one is so damn clunky and unwieldy. I wish I could remember who the hell made this kit, originally, but TRU had it on clearance years ago for $0.50. So, I ended up grabbing this with three others from the series. I'll eventually put them together, too.
