Apparently, this game was originally going to be a MMORPG, in the Legend of Spyro-themed universe. The Portal of Power is mentioned, and we were going to have to use toys to play as our dragon characters in the game world. And just like Spyro's Universe, we customize our lairs. This game idea was proposed to Activision, but it was rejected.

so i decided to open up a pocket dimension with one world containing a small patch of land to raise my eevees. it had all the stuff they needed to evolve, and i managed to evolve them all. made it so when a week passes in this world, a year passes in my pocket dimension. so i took these guys for three years (pocket dimension time) and after all that time, they all kick ass. i even gave them all nicknames once they evolved!

Your rival is an ass, so he picks the one that's strongest against yours. You two fight, and you move on. The next city's gym is closed, and you find that west of town there is the Pokemon League. My brain is still trying to process everything that happened, it's so awesome. Korra and Mako go undercover! A little later General Iroh and his fleet arrive, then BOOM, a bunch of planes pop out of nowhere and start dropping bombs and swarming around like bees. ITS LIKE WWII LEGEND OF KORRA STYLE! Except the planes don't crash into the ships, which I consider a good thing.
When they find Tarrlok, they find out that Tarrlok and Amon are brothers, and Amon's original name is... uh, I forgot, lol, but it's close to Tarrlok. let's say you meet your future self. your future self claims he has the ability to time travel, something you currently don't have. he gives you a note written in your own hand and tells you to keep it. you do.
some amount of time passes. you gain the ability to time travel, and you in turn go back to your past self and give him the note you've had all this time.
where did the note come from? it's in your own hand, but you never wrote it - you got it from your future self back when you were the past self. when you in turn become the future self, you don't need to write the note because it's already written. you just pass the note back to your past self.
