Image of the Lake Ashi which is located near Mount Fuji in Japan. The lake is one of 5 lakes located around the mountain. There is a cable cart which takes you up the valley which is where I took this image.

So Once again I had a chance to go to Japan, my one favorite country in the world.

So what is this?
Me and a friend happened to go shopping for kendo equipment in the area just north of Nijo-jo when we walked upon this park like area. Looks to me like it is just a drainage ditch converted to a a park area.
I sure liked it though.
At this location there were some stepping stones in the stream...which I just had to walk on...

"And that's why books are never going to die. It's impossible. It's the only time we really go into the mind of a stranger, and we find our common humanity doing this. So the book doesn't only belong to the writer, it belongs to the reader as well, and then together you make it what it is."
