man, this thing took just freaking long when i imagine that the plan was, to build this in my three weeks vacation (last year ) and meanwhile a half year is gone since i started the boosterpack
ok, i had a few breaks, one with Renamon and a few others so the pure building time was about two months but also a long time
i have to say that i don't have any clue about Gundam Wing/00/Zero ore whatever which series is called i know about the Gundams and love the mecha design (specially this one because of the wings) but never saw one part so don't bother about the name
ah, big mechas with wings i just love this shit
even the sheets where not the best (they are very pixelized) i'm totally pleased with the result but during the building and right now i can say, it's definitely not a starter model i had to modify a lot of stuff and quite every blue and grey edge is recolored to hide the folding lines but all over is was pure fun and... surely not my last Gundam model the next one is allready planned
damn! damn! damn! as i started this project, i never thought that it will take quite three months to finish
but this whole work with re-coloring from blank sheets to a colored version was totally worth This Gundam is just badass and to call this a SD (super deformed) version is definitely an understatement
with over 400 sometimes really tiny and complicated pieces, i really can say it's nothing for beginners you can see it in the building process gallery and i have to say that too, i printed that thing on A3
the model itself was really cool to build all pieces fit quite perfect together sadly, and that's the reason why the model hold the weapon only one time and in that way, the weapon it's not really designed for the model or rather the hands not for the weapon the hands are based on one piece which is fold to itself just to get the shape of a hand so it's really unstable, think about that when you wanna build that model
now then to the point what you probably all waiting for and to the sad part because this time, it's a bit different the original model as black&white version and a pdo as help file (where i made the screenshot from) is available here but you need a password i can't tell you the password here but think about "from where" you download the model, that's all i can say then my recolored version normally i ask the owner or designer if i can get the permission to share them ->public<- but because there is no way for me to contact "panda" i'm not gonna do that ... by the way asking questions in a private messages is free here on dA maybe you know what i mean
i combined the photos this time because i noticed that there are many fakers and thiefs out there, specially in the gundam scene
but there is only one person, who has that brown desk under each model
feel also free to write a critique would make me happy
Predator C design alterations, trying to make it less happy fun-time robot and more machine like. This version done in a cleaner illustration style and intended to be modular this one is loaded with as much firepower as able and all the defensive fixin's, plus a system of leg backups.
Finally finished this Gundam! can't believe I started with this project last year! haha, anyway, I've introduced the "Background colour" to this model because there were some annoying white pieces over the model which would look better with it. Also included the possibility to build Open and/or Closed wings! Test build was made by as well as the photographs! The .rar contains: 9 PDOs, 9 PDFs as well, 21 Pages for the model (If you build only 1 pair of wings)
Well, this is my version of the XXXG-01WK, Also known as Wing Gundam Ka Ver.
The Rar contains: PDOs, PDFs, Photos of the making (as a kind of “guide”), and a personal opinion. Thanks to my friends and family for being there to make everything less boring lol and a Special Thank to all the creators of this Awesome anime.
Ileman-Loch's 5th generation Light Strike FOIL Aetarius was produced in the same time period the previously posted Ileman-Loch Auaris-SOMR (Special Operations Multi Role) combat FOIL. They both share some slight cosmetic similarities and are both high mobility machines designed for combat operations requiring speed and precision. Beyond that though the Aetarius is more of a workhorse front line machine. Slightly heavier on armor than the Auaris-SOMR Aetarius is quite capable of taking punishment. Aetarius is somewhat of a beefed up high speed infantry FOIL at heart though quite capable with bladed weapons.
The example pictured here is a Polemon machine in service of the Free SOL allied forces that stand in the face of the Siege of the Black Son. It sports pattern breaker on the covering on the limbs and tonal variation breaker on the blue gray body panels. It's carrying an assault stein shettier rifle manufactured by Dies. It's highly likely the FOIL also sports a good deal of Dies parts as well.
The Latin text under the FOIL is actually on the FOIL, placed there by the Pilot and Faedai, it say's, "Reality is an illusion. Awaken from the dream." I also should note the name Aetarius was coined by as a play of Aquarius. He thought the FOIL's legs had a bell bottom vibe so the name kinda spawned from there Also will note there are GenoPeng/Vulne FOIL collabs coming soon
Blown up light boxed pencil thumb with digital inks clean up. Colors in Photoshop CS3. Background "star field" is a copyright free image and the only element I didn't draw.
again a part with a lot of pieces the first five screenshots are again the pieces which are for the hip
i promissed that i make a few photos of this boosters well, these are a bit more complex as the others but base on the same technique
first i cut them out and build the single rings i also removed the tabs for the inside ring quite useless for me at the fourth photo you can see the final pieces because the sheets are designed for colored cardboard paper there are no tabs for the bottom piece where the peak as to be attached on so i just colored a little paper piece with black marker and glued it on top (you can see it at the left piece)
then i put some glue at the inside of the tube and put it on top of the inside ring after it's dry, i add the peak quite simple, if you know how it works
piece overview 1 as always, here are all pieces what you need for the hip
po2 again one of those problems when you work with normal paper to combine this pieces i just add a little tab at the backside and cut two lines into the base piece
po3 this one took me really long to figure out first i thought the smaller piece has to be attached to the hip base but that doesn't work because the black flat pieces where all the parts has to be attached fit exactly to the hip base so this was the only solution
i scratched the color where this pieces has to be combined
