Although the overall rate of death by suicide is falling, more than 4,300 people still die by suicide in England and Wales each year. Many more suicide attempts are made. At least one person in every 100 who ends up in hospital after a suicide attempt will succeed within a year, and up to 5% do so over the following decade. A study looking at figures for attempted suicides from several European countries, including the UK, suggests that the figures might be higher - possibly as many as 2% of people who have attempted suicide will kill themselves within a year of the previous attempt. The study also found that about 7% of people in the study died by suicide within the next decade.
My project I have been slowly working on for a week or so....Adventure Time Valentines! I decided to upload these all as a set with some room inbetween just incase anyone wants to print them out. They should be fairly large tho so feel free to open the file in paint or photoshop and crop which card you want and print it out to give to someone, or even send it to someone on the internet. Just be sure you give all credit for the card to me.
Anywho I hope you all enjoy these and pass them along to your pals! Have a happy Valentine's Day <3
Love, Tabby JUST THE IMAGES: Adventure Time- Cartoon Network Art- me
I wanted to submit one of my Gasmask Angel line arts for The Vector Colouring Book community project and thought this would be the most fun to colour in
To find out more about the project, please read this article and find out how you can take part!
What is Vector Art?
In digital art there are two layer formats: raster and vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.
When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixel effect.
When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't pixellate.
The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it!
I don't normally participate in these sorts of things, (not because I don't support/believe in them, but simply because I prefer to stay neutral... and I'm lazy.) but I couldn't let this one go by without doing something.
And come on, Wish is totally perfect for it. Homosexuality? Purple? It's almost like he was made for it.
I'm not too good at the whole "cute" and "hopeful" thing anymore, but I'm fairly happy with this. Though it required a lot of tweeking, urgh. It's worth it, though.
