Katara had been on the Red Rain for two weeks and things werent getting any better. Her kiss-bruised lips were proof enough that it was only going to get worse. Holding hands, kissing, and hugging were things to be expected, and shed welcomed them. Their relationship had been one thing when they were younger and attraction had been something that was safe.
Sex appeal was way too new and was slowly killing her.
Every time he looked at her, she felt it. In the pit of her stomach, that knowing feeling that told her what she really wanted was him. What made it worse was that she knew he felt it too.

The Good Morning Surprise
Katara could still smell the storm in the air when she woke up the morning after. Her sleeping bag was damp from morning dew and she shivered. Sitting up and yawning, she made sure her arms werent exposed to the frigid morning air.
One slow glance around camp told her she that was the first one up. Knowing that some movements could wake Toph, she didnt shift any more than to reach for the parka beneath her head and wrap it around her upper body.
Getting out of her warm cocoon seemed too horrible a thought to even consider, but Katara also realized that if she didnt start the fire shed be cold until someone else did. She looked up at the sky and figured that it was mid-morning already and that breakfast should be first on her list

I am so so so sick of people thinking that DID is schizophrenia... sick of explaining to people over and over that they are NOT the same and that one DOES NOT develop into the other.
So, I would like to compare the two disorders, Schizophrenia and Dissociative Identity Disorder. To shed light and more understanding about these two mental disorders.
Schizophrenia is probably one of the most stigmatized mental disorders. It seems that in so many cases, dealing with this disorder is just too much for some family members and the person suffering from the disorder loses family support and any help that they could provide. People suffering from this disorder tend not to stay in treatment and tend not to take the medications that have been prescribed for them. This can definitely cause a lot of upheaval within the family. Schizophrenics sometimes hear voices that seem to come from outside themselves. Not all schizophrenics hear these voices, but many do. If medication is

The rain had stopped sometime that morning, leaving everything reflective and crystal clear. Water crystals sliding down the countless trees at the foot of a grassy hill on the edge of town. At the peak of the hill stood a two story house however; white paneling and green trimming decorating the architecture. A balcony which had two sliding doors which led into the well kept house- but I'll get into that in a minute. Overall, The property felt so tranquil and was just plain gorgeous with the lake further down past the orchard. But as peaceful as it was looking out to the house, Looks can be deceiving.

I waited in a tiny house without a light or door,
That each progressing day was slightly smaller than before,
Until I felt the sudden urge to break and struggle free.
I came into the world in only natal feathers dressed,
Among my likewise siblings in an interwoven nest,
Atop a shrub amid a land surrounded by the sea.
Each day my father came to us with smaller lives to eat,
As slowly I grew larger and my feathers more complete.
Along my longest finger formed a broad and glossy wing.
With wings to press me forward I could climb an upright wall,
And now the nest where I had dwelt was also strangely small,
And I could not ignore the larger island's beckoning.
My wings had grown sufficient to support my weight in air,
And prey could now be chased and won without my father's care.
Observing my lagoon-encircled kingdom from above,
Another hunger came to me beyond the quest for food,
To recreate on my behalf my natal nest and brood,
And prove to a companion my deserving of her love.

a powder keg soundtrack

There were dead flags

Smoke seeped through the earth

Their bodies were dormant

The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies Film Review Peter Jackson’s overly-stretched, overly CGIed, obvious cash grab bad fanfiction is done. No, not these dragon balls, although if I had all seven, I’d wish that we got a decent adaptation, where they actually followed the book.Out of the Hobbit trilogy, BoFA is the worst one. I didn't think anything could be worse than DoS, but I was wrong. BoFA had the worst elements from Dos, and it's all cranked up to eleven. T

Silvie closed the stall door behind her; she closed it timidly, with an empty expression on her face. Her hand shook. She paused for a moment, her mouth half open, her lip curled upward, and a frown on her forehead.
Then she walked over to the wash basins.
A fly buzzed between her and the mirror. She turned on the faucet, filled her cupped hands with water, and splashed it on her face. She looked at the stall's reflection in the mirror, closed her eyes, and slapped herself.
Let us slow down to take in the sights. At the exact moment Silvie's hand hits her cheek, everyth
The Plague Dogs reviewThe Plague Dogs review4 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
Two stray dogs in an animal-testing labatory make a desperate bid for freedom to escape the cruelties of mankind. They leave the horrible world of science and cruelty to discover a whole new world of wonder but also a far more harsh reality. Feeding off of sheep to survive, they are deemed 'contaminated of bearing the bubonic plague' as their efforts to find a place of their own are constantly blocked by obstacles as the characters must face their own personal fears and past histories to finally find their true home.
The novel this film was based on was written by Richard Adams, a writer who used animals and wrote stories in their perspective as a metaphor for humanity and other issues. Anyone who has read the book or seen the movie "Watership Down", rabbits who escape their home and search for a new one due to humans planning to develop land on it, should recognize the name. This film adaptation was also created by Martin Rosen, the same man who was responsible for the film adaptation
Why Spirit Day Is Not EnoughPrefaceWhy Spirit Day Is Not Enough3 years ago in Editorial More Like This
This essay was written in October of 2010 after DeviantART released this article supporting the Spirit Day movement to bring awareness to LGBT bullying.
I wrote it because there were so many comments on the official article that were defaming to one group or another that I felt the true issue had been lost in the rhetoric. The point of Spirit Day is to show solidarity and compassion for your fellow human beings. Not gay or straight or ill or handicapped - those categories don't matter. We're just humans, each flawed and each perfect. Spirit Day was an attempt to remind us of that.
I was confronted with two major arguments to this editorial in the original posting. One was that singling out LGBT suicides meant that I was putting more importance on that group than any other. For the purpose of the article, I suppose that's true. Spirit Day focused on LGBT issues, so the article (

Well, I figured that since Spongebob- Proof Of Spandy was so popular that I would do something that's different but also the same. I've written a little mini rant/opinions on an issue that isn't nearly as annoying as it used to be but it's still suck around for a quite a while everywhere I've been (Ex. DevArt, Fanfiction Net, LiveJournal). So, hope you can all enjoy and leave whatever comments you feel necessary. I would love to hear your opinions.
First I shall address Mary-Sues. Here's the five bad points of a Mary-Sue:
The name is only a slight problem. As in, it's not really one to be too concerned about but it is something that could give a good character a bad image. A name such as 'Melony Butterfly Lily DeeDee Silver Jay Hannah Rose, Melony Rose for short' is not going to give anyone a pretty image of your character and people will get tired just by trying to sa

Shall I stay, then, alone,
When the dawn is straying from the sky
Like a child roaming the sea;
Dare I stay – amidst parades of kings,
The rising revolution
Of tranquil days in silk-spread beds
And colours of mayhem in blacks and reds:
Wind chimes that jingle without judgement
Without affront –
And follow the questioning wind, without answers –
Oh, do answer, "Why not?" and
Let me stay, and dream of a candle you lit.
On the beaches the men wander alone
Driven speechless by siren song.
The house fairies lie beneath the windows.
The sunflowers that house imps hang above the windows
Droop their petals precariously earthward at dusk
And hide from the night sky in cement cracks,
Hinder gravity come dayspring and soar sunwards,
Stir from their pot
