Midna the twilight princess!

I really loved Twilight Princess
and the ending with Midna breaking the mirror of twilight was so sad that I was depressed in two months after beating the game

Hands down my favorite side character in the Zelda series. I know it's practically a cliche to say that, but hell with it I love this chick. She's everything I like in a character with a bit of crazy thrown into the mix.

Design-wise, I think she's one of the most creative imps ever made, so I figured why not give her a go. The fused shadow she wears was the most challenging thing to get down, but I think it came out alright all things considered. I might give her fully formed Twili design a try one of these days as well.

Hehe... ok yeah, I drew this at pretty much complete and total random a while ago one night when I was bored, and staring at my lava lamp. Suddenly I got the idea to put Midna in front of it, staring in awe, so I did XP. I dunno where in the world the idea came from, but the sketch turned out pretty well, so I decided to color it... which also came out rather well in my opinion...
Sketched with mechanical pencil, inked by hand, scanned, and colored in Photoshop.

ah, i love twilight princess, one of the few games on wii i bother playing. anyways, midna's just the cutest little thing E-VAH! err, this took me a while to do. scaned and inked on my trusty art-sy program. thing. yeah. blah.... so tired... +_+

crap i just realized i forgot a touch of detail on her helmet.
just ignore it if you find it. im toooo tired to fix it
