It rose from the water there, a delicate thing.
Its corroded walls of red and brown,
thin as paper, clung to patchworks of paint.
It rose in the air now, a delicate thing.
It wept the river in streams of reddish brown,
a sea of waterfalls, as clear as fog.
It hugged the earth now, a delicate thing.
Its face still smiles muted and round,
to spite its fate, that crisp death.
It bends and breaks now, a delicate thing.
It is pregnant with white and blue,
matured long ago, that harsh death.
It floated away from there, a delicate thing.
Its body bruised with red and brown,
a violent end, a delicate thing.
But its face still smiles,
muted and round.

As aging hair bands bring the heat
Nostalgic sound waves ride the wind
This aging liquor tastes so sweet
The golden age of rock has finished
And now the world bows down to pop
To me most new music sounds diminished
Who thought the ride would ever stop
The taste of this amber liquid takes me back
To all the shows I've never seen
Dated guitar riffs strike like a heart attack
And tell of what life could have been
I take comfort in one concrete fact
Though underrated rock 'n' roll goes strong
Some will say the aging sound has cracked
Those fools couldn't be more wrong
It's a fact that bottom of the glass hits hard
The in your face flavor gets things started
Something about rock gets through your guard
It's still as if we've never parted

Lost my wings.
Before I fall. Before I fall, hard. Kiss me quick but let it last. So I can really feel how painful it will be when you say the last goodbye. A little sweet, slow, let the future gleam. Tonight I can fall, fast, under the moonlight. You're mesmerizing, magical. I laugh when I sing. I smile when I sleep. I fall but don't catch me. My heart won't find peace, like a child running from its nightmares. I'm terrified of what you make me feel, my stomach screams when I see you. I run away so I can breathe, but you're far away from strangling me. Every Hello ends with Goodbye, so now you see, I'm afraid. I can't open a new chapter before I finish the last. Here is what I feel, and it's real. Before I fall.2 years ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This

A new beginning
This is where I come to restore sanity
This is where I come to get lost in its beauty
The lake over there
Surrounded by the chaos of the inner city
But there has to be one place that I can find solace
Somewhere, I can seclude myself in this world
Under an old willow tree
There is the perfect place to just sit and think
Of nothing but the beauty of everything
That doesn't hurt you. It only wants to be admired
Calm blue waters reflect the sunlight
I allow it to graze upon my pale skin
I inhale deeply, I inhale the scent of solitude
Such a lovely place...
I never want to be found
And I never want to go home
I have everything I need
My sketch book and pen
Ducks come out of the water to nibble on my shoes
I even smile at the ugly duckling
She's just like me
A bystander who is finding her place in this world
I knew I could always come back again
When I just can't take things anymore
And I want to stay away from everyone
It's just so hard to leave this beautiful p

opaque with wind,
body breathing dust,
breath synchronized with
the rhythm of my feet on worn stones.
The clouds are cool and grey.
Early morning grey.
The pastel sun hidden by the clouds,
like diluted dyes.
One bare tree marks our corner.
Dull colours manifest themselves.
Push a little harder or just
Running either sets deep
a sense of melancholy
or hopeless exhaustion of bones.

what have you done wrong?
I don't remember anything,
I will always cry stong-
To the heavens that pour-
pour stinging drops on my face,
and the taste that's so sour
it reminds me of the place
Where our first kiss took
a hold of my heart-
My heart- and open book
that wanted to start.
It wanted to be read-
wanted to express the feeling
of no hunger from the bread-
that saved and was healing-
but the rain still falls-
upon the remains of my pages,
and it's surrounded by walls
that no one has climed for ages.

and you may think that I don't understand.
And in all honesty, I probably don't,
but that doesn'tmean I can't sympathize.
I could say, "Don't worry! You'll pull through,"
but no one is able to escape fate.
Although, I wish you the best
and hope you'll survive;
I want you to know that I'm praying for you,
that we'll always be here.
I'm sorry I can't be there in person,
routing for your recovery,
but we'll be there nonetheless.
No matter what happens,
we love you and we won't forget.
All we can do now is have faith.
I may only be fourteen,
but I'm old enough to seethat the world
doesn't have much of that nowadays.
Take care and be safe! <3
The Ending.....The years of my life are slowly but surely coming to an endThe Ending.....2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Ending with me the thoughts and feelings of everything that happened
The pain that was gained
The love that was crushed
The happiness that was given
The memories that was made
Everything will end
The Planet of Earth
The Elements that are parts of it
The many creatures that inhabit it
Everything will perish
Whether in the year 2012
Whether in a few hundred million hears
Whether in a few weeks
Or whether in a few hours
Everything will cease to exist
People will be afraid of the end
People will be sorrowful of the end
People will not be expectant of the end
Cause the end will be a surprise to everyone
Everything will be crushed to pieces
But many many others
Will not care about the end
For they are people that have no regrets
No fear of the end
No care for the end
For they have loved their time on earth
And they would never want it to be any different
Whether in happiness or sorrow........ Everything will come to an end.
The World I KnewThe World I Knew2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The world as we know it
Revolves constantly about a plastic axis.
Fragile, rain scented clay builds up the mountains,
Those green giants that,
Though powerful but for a passing moment,
Crumble and wilt away in the presence of plastic plates,
Quaking under the pressure of their own falsity.
Waters fade and vaporize as their temporary dyes are swept away to the cotton ball clouds,
Only to fall in large, bulbous tears once again,
As the very sky mourns it's own heresy.
Limbs stiff, faces cracked with the sufferings of this world embedded in each fault,
Slowly make their rounds through roads made of pepper grain gravel.
Roads that lead only to the same mountains of clay and oceans of glue.
The same paper mache sands and aluminum skies.
Smiles painted with acrylics light up the false highways,
Melting to frowns in the dim light of the stiraphome moon.
Houses paint the distance with glaring colors under the gleam of the tissue paper sun,
Believing in vain that th

eyes full of tears, full of questions.
- How can you still look into them?
Questions I cannot answer; it's
just out of my reach. Things have changed.
- How can you still know me?
Why, why? Just give me the strength, the
power to tell you what's invisible.
- How can you listen to my broken voice?
But I can't, the words get stuck
because 'we' is impossible.
- How can you believe?
You'll never know, the questions'll stay,
though they're breaking me down.
- How can you hold on?
And I don't want the answers,
because they won't solve a thing
And I don't want the solution,
because it's not what I mean

Millions of words woven in subtle pictures,
Such words remain hidden to innocent eyes.
Deceiving young minds infectious is the curse,
Determining their fate leading them with lies.
Drawn into the pictures, seeking a new life;
Enveloped in sweet madness, cursed by delight.
Entranced by the mirror, for there lies no strife.
Possessed by a dark angel veiled in pure white.
Hypnotized to become zombies of the art,
Fallen darkness, infestation of the mind.
Reality fades, fantasy falls apart,
Till nothing remains, but the blackness you find.
Imagination and dreams, no longer help.
Your stuck in a limbo, striving to get out.
Delerium sets in, no longer yourself,
Only one way to escape from all this doubt.
Trapped deep in this cesspool of morbid logic,
Fettered in chains of entity and despair.
Days pass in seconds on the clock as they tick,
To decide your own fate a plan you prepare.
To trap the dark angel in her own mirror.
Insanity; so difficult to escape,

Gray DaysWhen the sky is dull gray the world seems uninspiredGray Days2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Listless leaves don't fly by like they should
Due to melancholy weather my soaked feet are mired
A little sunlight would do me some good
It seems life slows down when the sky turns to gray
My thoughts race as the world seems to slow
I find colored brilliance as time wastes away
In my mind I have found a rainbow
One would think such a day would be dreadfully mundane
These shallows days are deceptively deep
With fewer distractions more thoughts reach the brain
Dreams dance around as if I were asleep
Introspective opportunity gives birth to fresh questions
The unmoving surface world offers nothing
There are no other voices to offer suggestions
In the silence I usually find something
Dreary days offer answers we don't usually seek
When it's quiet thoughts will rise to the surface
Beauty can still be found even when things look bleak
Even gray days can serve a good purpose

My head rests upon my arm
Hair dancing on the music
Now I'll be safe from any harm
My thoughts start to slow down
Not able to stay awake
Drift away on wings of sleep
Music box keeps on playing
Made promises that it can keep
InnocenceInnocence shrouds those who use it for evilInnocence3 years ago in Emotional More Like This
Innocence takes a keen eye to spot out
Innocence is a cover that anyone will believe
Innocence will only last so long until they show their real selves
Once they're revealed, you'll know everything about them
Was only a lie, a game, a trick, a mockery
But, who would believe you?
Innocence makes everyone a believer
You'd stand no chance against someone
Who knows how to control their innocence
Innocence can be a harmless, natural thing
But innocence can also be a deadly weapon of stealth
Be aware of those who show innocence
For they may not be who they appear to be
