Updated! I'm going through my entire gallery and taking down all the multiple paged models, and uploading a single PDF containing all the pages to help keep things neat!

Here's a quick one I did for a friend. It's a Flying Toaster from the old Mac screen saver. It comes as-is, no instructions should really be necessary though. The wire stand you can see in the top half is just a jerry-rigged coat hanger bent to support it by the wings.
This wasn't the best design because in order to make the wings double sided without actually going through the relatively small trouble of aligning it to print that way (some printers, i.e. mine, are too inaccurate to do a good job of double sided printing anyway), i made two of each wing. you just reverse the folds on the bottom half and use a light amount of glue along each pieces 'backside' to stick them together.
I suppose I could have just used the excuse that since it has wings, it's meant to be off the ground, but eh, what do you want from me? ;)

Note: The pieces marked 'Legs' in the cut-out picture weren't actually included in this picture's model. They were an after-thought, and I never bothered to actually do them.

Here's an upscaled Black Spider-man ver. I don't really recall where I got the model from. So to whoever designed this model... awesome job!

Simply scaled up the model in Photoshop. I really don't care much for black ink... after all I've got 6 black in cartridges on hand.

First model I personally worked on after learning various techniques from Kaizo.

Also served as a tribute to Kaizo and his FFX-2 Lady Luck Paine model, both of which are the reasons why I started making my own models.

Available for download from my blog

FFX-2 and LeBlanc are copyrights of Square-Enix

Kaizo's Lady Luck Paine... the model that started it all for me. When I first saw this model, initial reaction was drooling; that's how badly I wanted to build this model.

So, after building 2 Pikachu's and a simple Wall-E model, I jumped right in and started building her. It was definitely hard building this model... well, for a 4th model and being a complete noob at it, so yeah... one hell of a time building her.

This is one model, that I'm sure to rebuild... it deserves nothing less than perfection this time around.

The 2nd model I authored and this time from Kingdom Hearts 2, and it was actually a rather ambitious project way beyond my skills at the time. However with some advice provided by Kaizo and Ninjatoes, I managed to overcome that lack of experience and skill.

Basically, calling it a "scratch" pose based off a reference pic I have of Cloud from Advent Children.

Real Tomb Raiders don't get stuck of course, but I love the artwork and background info you can find in modern strategy guides (they've really come a long way since "kill baddie A in room B then flick switch C to open door D congratulations you beat the game!" ;o)

I'm not a huge AMG fan, to be honest. I will admit that it's one of those "classic" anime/manga series that most anime fans have at least heard of, even if they've never read it or watched the series. I'm sort of ambivalent about it; I like the art (especially of the pin ups) but I feel the plot and characters aren't really all that interesting and deep to sustain it for all these years. I bought and watched the original OVAs, the movie, and even the chibi-goddess thing over the years between their releases, but when both TV series came out I passed on them without much thought.

I built this one because it's a nice looking pose; it also magically manages to stay standing despite the small footprint of the column she is sitting on. The model itself is well designed with simple parts, although the designer provided a very low resolution lineless version, which caused all the black cut lines to become huge, pixelated and unsightly when I printed it. I should have probably trimmed them off, but not mangling the parts in the process would have been hard -- especially on her face. Still though, there wasn't much drama building this. It's a fairly straightforward build, with a few tiny pieces just to make me print it again.
