Started drawing a pony, ended up with a reference sheet for myself.
This is in a style similar to my last Scootaloo drawing. I want to draw more in that lineart style so I figured I could use a reference sheet. I might still expand on this style though, so I have no idea how long this will actually be useful ^^
Feel free to use this for whatever reason. Do keep in mind that these proportions are not similar to the show's style. (Although they kinda do work if you want to draw Luna.)
First, I would like to thank everyone for the excellent response to my Pinkie Pie tutorial. I'm really glad you found it helpful and I love seeing everyones' efforts here, on deviantART, in the thread on Ponychan and elsewhere.
Inspired by all of the positive feedback, I decided to do it all over again and create a tutorial for Rarity! This tutorial took me a little more time to complete than I expected and is fittingly almost 29% longer. However, it is similar in many respects to my Pinkie Pie tutorial, so if you have already used that one, this tutorial should feel very similar. Rarity's hair style is a little less forgiving than Pinkie Pie's random curls, so this tutorial required a little more explaining. And puns. At least twice as many.

. . . and now for something completely different (and crazy huge.) I'm a big fan of the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV show, and an especially big fan of the pony Pinkie Pie. I wanted to get some kind of Pinkie Pie toy but I was unsure if I wanted one with hair or not until I found this thread via some googlin'. Intrigued by some of the successes of others, I decided on a hairy Pinkie Pie and made this tutorial for those looking for a little help fixing her hair up.
I think this quickly became a challenge in perspective to me. I didn't bother with shadows here, since I wanted the helping lines to still be visible. I initially wanted to do a full 360° rotation because of the two unequal ears, but laziness got me first. The flat ear is also not completely consistent between each panel here.
fairly confident about these, maybe some mistakes that you should be able to catch yourself
Not sure about these. Use at your own risk.
The heads you'll see the most of in the show are probably 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3. And please disregard that black line through the right ear in panel 3-5.
Whoa. How did this get so many views in such a short time? It's New Year's Eve! What are you people doing?
And for something a little different... Female Imperial style officer. Made with vintage clothing, band uniform, and components from older US and Russian headgear. Apologies for the low quality of the photos as lighting conditions were less than ideal.
