After watching Monty Python movies I felt the need to do some creative work...

Made with CS3, If you are runing older version of PS,
then open it with ImageReady (I think it will open it as an animation, if not get CS3 :P)

Started drawing a pony, ended up with a reference sheet for myself.

This is in a style similar to my last Scootaloo drawing. I want to draw more in that lineart style so I figured I could use a reference sheet. I might still expand on this style though, so I have no idea how long this will actually be useful ^^

Feel free to use this for whatever reason. Do keep in mind that these proportions are not similar to the show's style. (Although they kinda do work if you want to draw Luna.)

The first of my promised tutorials: preparing the bait. This is how I take a store bought pony and turn it into a blank canvas, ready for sculpting, painting, or whatever else I plan to do with it. Other tutorials will be posted when I have time, but finishing ponies for the show takes precedent. If you want a tutorial on a specific aspect of customizing, please ask! I'll be hitting the major points (Bait prep, full body repaint, symbol painting, eye painting, rehairing), but anything else will only be posted if requested. Enjoy!

YAY!
here i intent to show how it is done. i know this will be insufficient. please ask, i will try to help.

next week i will not rush like this...better make it right than in a hurry i guess.

Pinkie pie finished:[link]

Pattern:[link]

the rest :) (fluttershy,Rainbow Dash, Derpy):[link]

have fun!

recomendend papre: 140 Grs.

Hair is tricky, please have patience. you can use thicker paper too, it simplifies some stuff but you will need stronger paste.
i did make purposely the tail flat so that way we donīt suffer (LOL) more than necessary.

also, back legs are weird...dunno why i must have changed something. just roll them until you think looks nice, ignore marks. i will edit the pattern when i can.right now i am very busy, sorry if you already printed it.

i do not own pinkie pie or anything related Friendship is magic (C) hasbro / Lauren Faust i only designed the patterns.

I found that odd little Wunderkammer again, so I went in and took more photos of the Unicorn skull from various angles, as the first photo I took has always been one of my most popular downloads.

As photographer, I give you permission to download and use this for any purpose whatsoever. The owner of the Wunderkammer also gave verbal permission. Feel free to download this image and use it however you like. This is totally free/unrestricted.

My only request: If you download my stock, please help me out by also faving it.

If you make something with this stock and post it somewhere online, feel free to share a link as a response to this deviation. If you post it on Deviantart, I will fave it and add it to this gallery: [link]

If I REALLY LOVE your work and feel you nailed it in terms of quality and skill, I'll submit it as a daily deviation suggestion.

FYI, here is the original photo I took several years ago:

As my TV Comic paper Tardis model is so popular, I thought I'd do a paper model of the original metropolitan Police Box. I haven't actually gone to the trouble of printing this and building it yet - it would be BRILLIANT if somebody did it first (to check it works for a start!) and posted up a photo of it. PLEASE NOTE: you need both pages!

The third of my promised tutorials: how to rehair a pony. This is how I finish a pony that will have hair, specifically using nylon pony hair. There are also rehairing tools you can use, but this way is cheap, easy, and versatile. You can use pretty much anything to hair a pony, but if you'd like to use the stuff I did here (and use on most my ponies), you can buy it from the same place I do here: [link]

If you want a tutorial on a specific aspect of customizing, please ask! I'll be hitting the major points (Bait prep, full body repaint, symbol painting, eye painting, rehairing), but anything else will only be posted if requested. Enjoy!

Okay, it's EXPENSIVE and difficult to make one out of resin and such if you don't have the skills.

I made one that looked alright for my cosplay using a motorcycle helmet and modifying it. Any questions, just comment! I put as little 'text' as possible and more understandable pics in case other people who don't understand English can understand. This method works for me but you can substitute a few steps if you have other kinds of materials that are suited for it. I have an X-wing pilot helmet made somewhat like this too and I probably should put up that tutorial... Heh.

The tutorial is huge so save it somehow and view it using a picture viewer so you can see details and such easily.
