This is my version of Sailor Cosmos, this is a Resin Figure produced by e2046. She is from the Sailor Moon Series, the most mysterious sailor as she only appeared once in the manga and they didn't really say it but her figure was drawn in the last episode of Sailor Moon and was portrait as the Light of hope.
You can check out my youtube channel for the complete paitinting process
And you can also visit my website to check out her gallery which has even more detailed pics ^_^ [link]
This is a Human Luna Resin/Garage Kit I made (my uhm... 4th kit?) this is a model!!! I had to prep all of the parts, paint them, and assemble them. This is 1/6 scale (about the same height as a barbie doll) she was more difficult to make than any of my other kits so far! The black part of the skirt comes in four pieces!!! O.o And for me they were not fitting together properly no matter what!!! So I had to fill on gaps and such, and her skirt is technically "crooked" but it wouldn't fit on her body any other way without barely being attached, and since her hair is blowing that way I hope it's ok her skirt is, too This will be my submission to the E2046 Junior division contest. I used acrylic paint on her... I don't remember the brand of primer, but it was white lol... Other products used: Ceramcoat brand paint: Sunshine Pearl, Metallic Gold, Pearl Finish, and Fleshtone. Appel Barrel Brand: True Blue, Bright Yellow, Black, and Pink Parfait Oh! And I used a Glitter Spray on her dress, and gold stick on stars (which I glued on)
I hope to make a little WIP collage for her if people want to see...
This is a new photo of an old work. I've been meaning to reshoot this one but just didn't have the time till now. I think the colors look better now but its still not a perfect shot.
Here is my 1/4 scale sailormoon. Shes getting ready to do Moon Tiara Action/Magic. **I ONLY SCULPTED THE CLOTHES AND TIARA*** The original resin model was supposed to be displayed wearing a fabric dress.
-I started this one in September 2009 and finished April 18, 2010. -sculpting material is magic sculpt and fixit sculpt -everything hand painted, mostly with Air-dry PermEnamel Iridescent Glass Paint. Skin is duo aqua water mixable oils. They are hard to spread on large areas, so I added artisan painting medium, mainly on the legs to make the paint glide more, thought it added some gloss.
-Picture taken with flash She is a little shy under 50cm when measured from the tip of the tiara to the bottom of the base.
