This is just a tiny bit of animation from the short im working on called Trolly dollies. It looks better when put into the CG bg. I still need 2 do a few tweaks to this plus the removal of some pen lines!! lolz Its all almost done now, well my part is anyways!! i've been doing all the air hostess animation and *RadSavij is doing the passenger animation while Mike (another guy i work with who isnt on DA) is doing all the CG. We have been working 2gether on this for a while now, if u remember i posted the first drawing i did of them... [link] plus some very rough sketches if u like 2 look at [link]
It will be 2d characters set in a cg environment with them both interacting. The deadline is 2morrow its just the matter of pressing render and waiting the entire weekend 2 see if it comes out ok! its been a great few weeks, we worked 2gether lovely and its paid off! i will post the finished thing here 2 in a while. xx
Let's welcome this, to be most excellent, 2008 with the World's Mightiest Mortal. Due to time and it's elusiveness, I couldn't animate the characters. However I think it will suffice, and it's a DCstatue, so it works in that sense. Hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve and all the best to a productive and happy 2008!
P.S. You have to yell SHAZAM! (Loud enough so that people near think you are disturbed) and press the lightning bolt button to see the "magic"
EDIT: IM NOT INTERESTED IN BUGS OR SUGGESTIONS, JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS IN THIS DESCRIPTION, AND DON'T PLAY BY YOURSELF.
Turns out I actually need feedback on this. So grab a partner and test it out. Player 1 uses mouse, Player 2 uses keyboard.
Notes: Player 2 is always Lance. Pretend that you can't use bombs. I'm not really sure how to implement them for 2 players. There is no music, just add your own. You can't play single player. The game doesn't save. The user interface edits were pretty crappily done.
I'm not really bothered about bugs, just fill in this questionnaire when you're done playing:
How difficult was it to find someone to play with?
Did that person have any previous experience playing Flash games, or shooting games specifically? If not, did they show a bigger interest in the genre after playing with you? Are they likely to play the game on their own later?
If you play Flash games at work or school, would you feel comfortable asking another person to play with you there? Would that be more likely to raise some concern from your employers or teachers, compared to playing a single player game?
Did the two different control schemes cause disagreement about who would use which? Which one was more popular, keyboard or mouse?
Did the difference in skill levels between you and your partner cause any problems?
Did you cooperate strategically with the second player? For example, having one player divert enemy fire?
Did you experience any other disadvantages due to playing with another person?
Do you feel the multiplayer feature would work better if it were online? Or would that make it more difficult to communicate and cooperate?
Would you generally prefer playing with another person in this game, as opposed to playing by yourself?
