Banshee PhotoshootMy inspiration for this photo shoot came from a Nancy Drew game. (Yes, I'm pathetically nerdy). When I saw the banshee I thought it was one of the most beautiful beings I've ever seen. The banshee is a female spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld. In Irish legend, a banshee wails around a house if someone in the family is about to die. Banshees are frequently described as dressed in white or grey, and often having long, fair hair.
Here is me tearing a bedsheet for the skirt (that my dad sewed). Because he's the best.
