I've never seen a display of light such like this before. It's as if the light was piercing through the clouds. This was the start of an epic rainbow... The sunset was quickly burning up, the rainbow was breaking through the clouds, and within a few minutes the twilight colours exploded throughout the sky, whilst the rainbow illuminated itself, absolutely magical.

Enjoy.

This weird display of light excited me as the light pierced through the clouds. I'm sure there's a special name for this occurrence... If you know what it's called please let me know.

Another shot of the spectacular rainbow I was was fortunate to photograph. It seriously felt like a new beginning, I get a real refreshing feeling whenever I'm blessed with a rainbow whilst out shooting. It all comes down to, the right place at the right time :)

I found this waterfall hidden in the Dorrigo countryside. It's well off the beaten track, across a few fields, tucked away from civilization. Last time I visited this location I was chased by a heard of mad cows, so this time I made sure I was outta there before sundown.

This is why I'm so passionate about landscape photography.
I live for moments like these... Perfect conditions, perfect timing, and a lot of patience paying off.

Double the rainbow, double the trouble. Taken just down at my local beach :)

A pool of water rests over the rocks on Hungry Head beach, late afternoon whilst the storm quickly approaches the East Coast of Australia.

Calm before the storm hits. The green moss on the rocks is all natural. The overcast sky really helped illuminate the moss, really brought out the tranquility of the ocean. Enjoy.

Shelley Beach - Nambucca, Australia NSW.

An old shot I just found whilst cleaning up my hard drive. I know it's very similar to another one from this location, but the way the water receded was really fascinating I had to upload.

I couldn't decide between colour and the monochrome conversion... I prefer the mood in the black and white, but the warm light on the rocks in the colour version is quite delightful. I'll let you be the judges :)
