Do Not CryDo not stand at my grave and weep:Do Not Cry5 years ago in Emotional More Like This
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the softly fallen snow;
I am the gentle showers of rain.
I am the field of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the grateful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight.
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom.
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing.
I am in each lovely thing.
So do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.

The Grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his Grandfather "which wolf will win?"

The Way You Used to BeAs I lay back and close my eyesThe Way You Used to Be5 years ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
Memories of us come to view
And the way you used to be
With late night talks
And fun spring days
And there were no problems
Until something came our way
I don't know what it was
Or what it is
But you seemed to change
And I remained the same
Lost behind you
In a cloud of confusion
Watching my dear friend change into what seemed like a
What had happened to you?
Where did my friend go?
Were you lost in the sudden vertigo
Of this thing called change?
Through-out that year
Our worlds seemed to drift apart
Watching the old you die
Was the hardest part
And suddenly this person
Who appeared infront of me
Nothing more than a stranger
Was all that I could see
And now I lay here
Staring at my blank ceiling
Feeling empty and hopeless
With the thought of you leaving
But I know it wont matter to you
You strange person, you
Because I know that you bit through
The happy times, feelings, and memories
That I once knew.

LoveSometimes I sit on my front porch and ponder life.Love5 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
I guess it is.
I mainly think about love, though.
I mean, who doesn't spare a few seconds to mull over love?
The truth is, I thought it would be like in the books.
No fighting that couldn't be solved
the next day.
Them always just being
A phone call away.
The next day you'd see their face,
That you'd love them forever.
I mean, how many relationships are,
How many never got the chance,
To gain their own wings to soar,
Because they were afraid of taking chances?
A broken heart is almost enough of a reason
Not to try anymore.
Is it really, though?
Does your voice tell you to keep going?
To keep trying?
To keep living?
To keep loving?
What is love, anyways?
A fluttery feeling in your belly?
A yearning in your heart?
Memorizing their scent,
On your bed sheets,
So you smell them as you sleep?
Poems that ramble like epics,
Lyrics that move your soul?
Is it dancing around your house,
