The Bracelet“Tenten. Come on, talk to us... Tenten!” A desperate sounding voice on the other side of the solid oak door called out to the bun-haired kunoichi. Hearing some quiet chatter behind her blond friend, Tenten could only imagine that it meant the rest of their friends were also gathered outside her bedroom door.
How Ino and the rest of them had gotten into her house was a mystery to her. Tenten was certain she had locked and booby trapped all her doors and windows. And as far as she knew, the only ones who could get passed her security system were the members of her team.
“Please Tenten-san, we are worried for you,” the pleading voice of the mini-green beast answered the kunoichi's unasked question.
“Lee...” Tenten moaned into the pillow beneath her, silently admonishing herself for not having suspected him.
Of course he would come. Lee was the type of person who just could not help but care. He was all heart, and often followed his impulses without thin

He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing. It was the middle of the night, and for some strange reason Neji had made his way to the top of the Hokage monument, just to stare at the night's sky. Thinking about it rationally, he supposed that perhaps it had something to do with the fact that he would be getting married in the morning. The months of preparation had been nearly unbearable, especially given how much the elders had insisted on overseeing that all Hyuga traditions be held, would finally be coming to an end. In the morning he would walk on a carpet of white rose petals, down to the reflection pond in the certain of the Hyuga gardens. Wearing traditional robes, he would repeat the words he had been forced to memorize; all in an effort to placate a bunch of old men he didn't even care for.
"Haah." Neji sighed exasperatedly.
Why was he doing this again?

It was ten minutes passed the hour as Neji walked into the crowded restaurant, searching for the table his team had reserved for the evening. He was late and he knew it. Just as he knew that it would earn him a scolding from his sensei; as well as few snide comments and disapproving glanced from the former ANBU, turned school teacher, whom they were all gathering to celebrate that evening.
“Haah,” Neji sighed.
It was bad enough that Koudo already didn't like him, Neji hated to give the older shinobi more reasons to disapprove of him. Unfortunately, it had not been his choice to be late for the evening's celebration. In fact, Neji had cleared most of his afternoon in order to avoid any possibilities of that occurring. Regrettably, the young Hyuga had not foreseen that his Uncle and the elders would stop him moments before he was to step out of the Hyuga compound. The worst part, h
NejiTen - Hide and SeekThe Konoha Ninja Academy was almost like a daycare. For young children they barely learned the basic kick through a wooden plank trick. Neji hated that he was in the younger group. It wasn't bragging when he said he was the most experienced in his group. He was experienced in basic ninja skills at that. He was growing weary of the simple tricks they were teaching. He found little if any joy in watching the others fail to succeed in them.NejiTen - Hide and Seek5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
There was one girl who was about as talented as him. She could easily do the simple tasks put up for her. She wanted to do a few harder things. There were things she possessed different than him. She spoke a bit more than he did, and she was definitely more spontaneous. Her father was a weapons master, and she often sneaked a few of her favorites to school.
One time she showed him some, but he simply paid her no mind, "Which one do you like best?" she asked with a small smile on her face. He gave her an unamused look. At this she had giggled, "You don'

She couldn't see where she was going because the tears wouldn't stop coming.
"Tenten!" She heared Neji shout over and over.
Thank goodness he was wearing a yukata which prevented him from running
properly or else he would have court her up by now. She didn't want him to
catch her up. She didn't want to pain rejection, the pain of losing someone she
loved again. She would keep running all night if she had to.
But that was short lived as she didn't notice the stone path she was running on .
The tears were affecting her vision so she didn't notice the protruding stone.
She hit it with her foot at running pace sending her crashing to the ground. She
felt the stones rip her jeans and her skin. She put her hands out to stop her from
hitting her head, the stones ripped those up awsell. It felt like she had just run into
a brick wall, her body was aching. She was still to shocked to move.

WARNINGS: General fluffy goodness, for all of you that complain about my angst obsession. For the record, I had angst ideas I ignored for this. Brief mentioning of past child abuse. Some sexiness at the end. Or the closest I've ever done.
Oh, and more pregnant TenTen, because I think it's sweet.
Disclaimer: Does TenTen have screen time yet? No? Then, no, they still aren't mine. Also, the title IS from the Kingdom Hearts song. I just had it playing in my head as I wrote. Oh, and Guy's quote, before I forget, I read somewhere but have never been able to find since. It's one of my favorites, though.

Normally, Neji wasn't one for vacations. It just wasn't his personality, and eight years of being on Team Guy had only reinforced it. In all that time, they'd only had one break, and that was because Tsunade had decided the rest of t

ONE YEAR LATER
Three hundred and sixty five days.
Tenten smiled as she crossed out the previous day on her calendar. It was exactly one year to the day since that fateful morning when her childish, yet loveable, older brother had stepped foot into the crowded barbeque restaurant where the Konoha 11 had agreed to meet for lunch. It was hard to believe that time had gone by so quickly. It seemed like only yesterday that Tenten walked into the restaurant to find her older brother harassing her white-eyed teammate; a habit of his which had become more prevalent over the months that followed.
“Poor Neji.” She grinned as the memories of the countless insults, instances of hidden training gear, random flash bombings, caffeine in his bedtime tea, and all the other various pranks her brother had pulled on the Hyuga over the last year, came rushing back at her. “Despite how much he tr
Forever the FirstNeji squinted from the light, as a stray ray of sunshine broke through his parted curtains. From the angle of the light, breaking through the shadows, the sun had apparently just come up. The Hyuga groaned as his groggy mind began waking to the new day. His muscles felt stiff and cramped as he tried to lift himself out of bed, only to find himself stopped by an unexpected weight on his right side. Turning to investigate what was keeping him pinned to the mattress, a gentle smile quickly spread upon the Hyuga's normally stoic features. Curled up against him, the petite bun-haired kunoichi nuzzled tightly against his side as she slept peacefully on his numb arm. Her hair was in complete disarray; scattered about the bed sheet and over half of her face.Forever the First5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

Truthfully, he would have preferred not to wake the girl. Her calm sleeping face looked angelic in the dim morning light. Neji would have des

Title: First Love
They say you can never forget your first love. Tenten remembers it well. She was young and foolish at the tender age of thirteen.
She remembers the wild missions and the need to succeed. She remembers Lee refusing to let her carry out her duties because of a silly broken ankle. She remembers being jealous of Sakura for becoming Tsunade's apprentice.
She remembers Ino and how life was an endless competition with the pink haired Kunoichi.
She remembers Naruto at Ichiraku ramen and Hinata fainting when he said "hi" to her. She remembers the day Sasuke left the village, and she also remembers the day he returned.
She remembers Shino sitting in a lonely corner with his bugs and Kiba would join him, even though it annoyed him.
She remembers Shikamaru falling asleep in his jounin exam, and she remembers Chouji being so nervous that he cou

"I heard it would hit Konoha this saturday,"The other man said.
That can't be good Tenten thought to herself. It was only

Come to think of it no one apart from Lee and master Gai knew it was her birthday.
"Should i tell Neji?" She slapped herslef again. Neji wouldn't be bothered.
What did she expect from him, a present?
Neji made his way up to the hyuga manchain, he was thinking hard about Tenten's birthday.
"Big brother Neji," Hinata said as she came up to greet him,"how wa-was your day?"
Hinata was her usual babbling self.
"ah..oh Lady Hinata," she court him off guard running up to him like that, "i'm fine."

Meanwhile, Neji was sat up in a tree day dreaming in the afternoon sun when the two green idiots
started shouting. Neji stared down at them "What are they babbling about?" he said to himself.

Those were the words that came out of his girlfriend's mouth, as Neji sat at his desk, drinking a cup of tea, moments before the bun-haired girl burst in.
A million and one thoughts ran through the Hyuga's mind as he wondered what to make of that innocuous, yet utterly terrifying phrase.
Did someone get hurt? Or maybe someone died? But would Tenten really burst into his room in such a manner to tell him that? It seemed more likely she would have a solemn expression on her face if she had come to deliver such unpleasant news. Taking that into account, it clearly meant whatever she had come to tell him wasn't of such grave magnitude. But still, 'don't panic' wasn't exactly something a person said lightly, and certainly not something to be said about good news.
What else could it be? Another war? No, that too seemed much too serious to be announced in such a simple manner. And also, she had said not to panic, normally one would let a little panic set in when it came t
