Three:
A year of purpose
The winter was good to Perin and Graves. Their little cabin stayed stocked with wood throughout the dark months, keeping the fire going. A single gold coin from Graves pouch paid for all the food they needed, and they did not need to draw any more on the funds now kept safe in the crypt, as winter was a good season for business.
Four burials took place in the little graveyard. Two of them were for individuals of fairly high status and were relatively lucrative to Perin and his master. Graves was commissioned to raise a block of stone over one grave as a memorial to the husband and wife buried there. Stonework paid

The calm of the moon
Perin enjoyed the rest of the week. No one in Erdhanger died, no landscaping was asked for and no one commissioned any work for Graves' chisel. This would normally have been cause for worry, for quiet periods meant poor eating. However, the mysterious business offered them by the Prigon Kesairl allowed them both some leisure.
Graves relaxed by taking a sickle to the overgrown grass around the older graves. He even polished some of the stones, removing moss and lichen that had built up since the last time he had been given the time to maintain his little town of the dead.
Perin spent his time walking in the hills

Wings cant bear the weight of a broken heart
Even a flower will loose its beauty
They cant take the coldness of the world
Even unicorns will die one day
It cant last forever
Even the days will turn into nights
The sun cant be everywhere
However...
Even a broken heart may have a chance at healing
Even the coldest winter will one day become summer
Even the dead will always be a part of us
Even the days will return
Never let the smallest thing let you down
There will always be some happiness

One of the teenage boys stood at the top of the bookshelf ladder siphoning through the drab coloured books, sliding to the next section when he was done; the other boy paced the lower shelves looking for the book.
"found anything yet?" said the boy at the top
"Not yet, still looking... ah, here we go. Dragons..." He said pulling it out an passing it up to him.
"why are you passing it to me? I'm getting off

And after the storm
The body of Rafell the Magistrate lay in state beside the hole he was soon to inhabit. The family, of which there were few, and the friends, of which there were even fewer, had already deserted the graveside. They left Graves and his apprentice to nail down the lid and lower the Magistrate into the earth.
Rain was falling. Graves glanced up at the drab, weeping sky. 'Rain's puddling. Good wood that. Going to spoil fast, mind.'
His apprentice gravedigger nodded simply to acknowledge that he had heard.
Graves shook his head, looking left, down the slight incline of the hill towards the great iron cemetery gates, th

But don't we have a voice?
I'll respect your opinion,
If you respect mine.
Im tired of getting flamed all the time!
Dont hate me because Im for McCain,
Dont tell me Im living without a brain.
Im a republican, elephant, conservative,
and it might suprise you to know that
Im proud.

Steph and Liam
I ran down the street.
I could see my breath in the air as I pushed my arms faster trying to get my heart rate up. I always love running when it's snowing. I pushed my arms to the beat of the music and closed my eyes for a moment and ran straight into something knocking me onto the floor.
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry!"
I looked up and saw a guy with brown hair looking down at me.
"No...It's ok..." He held his hand out and I took it and he hoisted me up, "I should've been looking where I was going." I said and dusted my back and bum off getting the snow off.
"I really am sorry are you sure you're o

A young girl sits in the corner,
She sits, and I hear her sigh.
She was at first so happy,
But it was all a bitter lie.
She feels so hollow and empty,
And she really wants to die.
So with her sleeves, covers her face,
And quietly begins to cry.
In her soul is hatred,
So she sits there wiping her tears,
She crys and crys and crys,
She let's it all out after so many years.
The lights become dim,
Oh no! I know what's on her mind.
I hope, I beg, I pray,
That happiness she'll soon find.
If not- she's going to commit suicide,
She's tired of hiding in the dark,
Afraid of her life, of what she's done,
She's already made her mark.

With spade in hand
Four hours later, Kesairl called a halt. Perin still felt fresh, though sweat dampened his dark fringe. His coat swirled about him as he turned back to Kesairl.
The Prigon could usually run for hours, but the gruelling night had taken its toll. He hadn't slept and magically carving Graves' headstone had tested him severely.
They sat on the edge of the clearing, Kesairl's broad back against a tree, Perin on a nearby stump. The Prigon took a deep breath and began to draw energy down into his gold bracelets and armbands, storing it against exhaustion of his natural reserves.

Seizing destiny
Kesairl watched in tense silence as Perin slid the lid of Jesik's coffin across. The young gravedigger paused for a moment, staring down at the dark wood of the box. It was possibly the best quality coffin he could have found and it had been with great gentleness that he had placed his mentor in its confines. The gravedigger would rest in honour. Graves would lie in the earth where he had dug the grave for Heimia Plaff because that had been the old man's favourite part of the graveyard.
Perin picked up one of the long, heavy coffin nails he had recently been playing with. They had no heads, being simply spikes of iron

A breathing cell
living
but dead
cold
but alive
Locked within a prison
The prison of my mind
words that once flowed freely
Now clot within my veins
Blood that was once locked up
Breaks free again
making like a madman
who wants his freedom
But what freedom
ever did come
that did not cost a sum
And when the sum is payed
It leaves my veins frayed
But the madman does escape
to rest for another day

My head screams at me 'She's in league with Morgana, she must be evil' but then, when we're alone together my heart aches with the longing to stay with her forever.
If anyone from Camelot found out about our love; we would be burnt at the stake. But even that price I would gladly pay. She's not like Freya, completely different. She's a fighter; I bet that she could take on Arthur in a fight and win. She's fearless and bold and she'll fight for what's right.
