Thanks to $Moonbeam13 for the invitation finally I got permission from DeviantART to upload movie files here.. now I'm really excited to make moooore motion graphic thingies and show them to the people around the world. of course I promise to learn more so I can make it better and better next time yuuhuuu
These are some of the semi-finished stills from my thesis animation, Double Down. The last one doesn't have snow or a background yet. Anyway, if you're interested in following the progress of my film, I'm keeping a blog here: [link]
I will be posting the final to deviantArt when it's finished, which will hopefully be in April. And yes, this is why I've barely drawn anything since summer.
Welcome to the 3rd installment of our Student Showcase Reel to date. We here at Animation Mentor feel so proud of the work that has gone into this reel. 100% student created, 100% solo efforts. Each one of these shots was created by one student alone, though the shots could not have been completed without the support of our incredible student body and the leading industry animators that mentor their work.
We are amazed at the quality of work that is coming from our studentssome of whom are learning to animate for the first time ever! The shots on this reel are from Classes 1 6, so you can get an idea of all the levels of animating that are occurring at our school. We feel they are all top quality, regardless of level.
Now that our students have begun to graduate and go into the professional world to find their dream jobs as animators, its simply awesome for us to take a look and be excited by what they have achieved in such a short amount of time. They will take this work with them as they go forward into their careers, and can and should feel proud of what they have created during their 18 months at Animation Mentor.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy 6 minutes of the best work we have seen yet! Congratulations to our students, we wish them all the best in the future!
