Gotta share my thoughts because I can't stop thinking about it!
TBH, YES I'm there for the hot hot bishounens!
HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT KUROKO NO BASUKE?
I first got to know Kuroko no Basuke by coincedence I turned on the TV around 10 and they keep showing commercials about the first airing of episode one. It looked pretty interesting so I waited until 11pm for the first episode and even though I couldn't understand all of what they were saying I got hooked! It was destiny! After that I started doing my own research and started reading the manga too. I even bought manga in the local stores and had fun time with my dictionary practicing my kanji ah~
I watched the next episode bec of this pic <3
MANGA v.s. ANIME
I gotta say the anime is what got me into it in the first place. Episode 1, I was expecting it to be another one of those "I
Somewhere in the WorldHi everyone! Great news! I'm going to be posting a comic series, on my DA and tumblr, in the next few months!Somewhere in the World4 months ago in Personal More Like This
It's called "Somewhere in the World." It's about highly improbable things that are still possible. You can read the first strip here: Somewhere in the World: Bread Ends
I've been planning this for a few years now, and it's finally getting launched. If the project goes well, it's going to get published in print form and sold in comic/gift/book stores! Also, it will become an interactive/social project where the community, anyone, even you! will get to submit your own requests. I have optimistic views for this project :3
Feel free to send me YOUR ideas via email firstname.lastname@example.org or comments; I read all the comments!
Warning to art thieves: these strips are getting copyrighted.. meaning if you steal it or remake it, there will be

Being a popular artist?
Being a well liked artist?
Being a good at art in any form?
Some of you out there are pretty popular & like to flaunt it gratuitously.
Some of you are great artists (even though you may not think so) & are very humble.
Some of you constantly compare your art with others to determine just how "good" your art is.
Some of you radiate confidence through your art and know the true meaning of the word "expressive".
Some of you want thousands of watchers to wish they could draw like you.
Some of you want to enjoy yourself no matter how many people see what you draw.
Some of you are normal human beings behind a computer screen and have lives to live outside of Deviantart.com.
... & Some of you let this site go to your head.
You stop caring about people who cared about you.
People who cared about you as a person and not just some fancy doodle.
People who were your friend with or without Deviantart.
People who should matter to you...
Absolute logical proof that god doesn't existBear with me, this is kind of complicated:Absolute logical proof that god doesn't exist3 years ago in Personal More Like This
A. God is, by definition, illogical.
Therefore B. God can not (and does not) exist.
Wow, mind blowing huh? It's just so involved and complex. And it assumes so many premises! (It assumes one premise) But I assure you, the logic is perfectly valid and irrefutable.
Now, while the logic is perfect and irrefutable, you could possibly argue with the premise (Anybody have a definition of a god that is not illogical? If you do, then please do share.), but provided A, then B. God can not and does not exist. If A. is true, B. is true. If A. is not true, B. may or may not be true.
If you have an alternative definition of a god which isn't illogical, I would:
1. Like to shake your hand. You are a very rare breed: a logical theist. I can count on one hand how many I have met.
2. Be happy to have a civil and logical conversation with you on the matter.

My Minecraft Testificate InfestationIn Minecraft there are these squidward like villagers called Testificates. In a recent update they were given new abilities such as having babies to repopulating a town based on the number of houses there are. Since the requirement for a "house" is simply a room with a roof and a door, I decided to spend my time building a massive city for the Testificates to populate, using a generated village as a starting point. My Minecraft Testificate Infestation3 years ago in Personal More Like This
After building a number of houses, I began noticing the little children running wild and there becoming quite a LOT of villagers. I undertook a huge task of building a BIG open area underground with a couple doors and lights. Because the area was so big, the Testificates began to... um... OVER populate.
These little buggers reproduced the village so fast that I couldn't keep up and soon they were overflowing out of buildings. Mob attacks couldn't keep up with the rate they were repopulating, and the iron golems that kept spawning (for every 15 villager a new one spawns) made

How to determine what you should charge for your work
In light of the absolutely horrendous commission page DA started up which encourages artists to sell their work for literally pennies, let me talk about pricing artwork. Or more specifically, how I price my work.
This...guide? Advice? Thing? Highlights what I've learned about pricing throughout the last few years. I do not touch on the subject of beginner pricing, simply because there are no set guidelines for that and beginner pricing usually ends up being extremely subjective. This guide assumes that the reader is somewhat experienced in their craft and is looking for pointers on pricing. However I still highly encourage beginners to read! This is what pricing should be like, not mere pennies for hours upon hours of work. This also focuses on crafts and sewing but a lot of it is s
PE Daily Deviations - So you want to suggest DDs?You're browsing deviantART or are simply checking your message centre and find a wonderful art piece. You want to suggest it as a Daily Deviation because you believe it truly deserves to be seen by the community as a whole. But how to properly suggest a DD? This article will explain the process.PE Daily Deviations - So you want to suggest DDs?3 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Things to check before sending a suggestion:
The first thing you need to check is if the artist has been given a Daily Deviation in the past 6 months. Volunteers cannot feature anyone who's had a DD in that period of time with no exceptions, as this has been hard-coded into deviantART's system.
"But how do I check an artist's Daily Deviations?" you may ask. Simply go to their gallery, click browse and scroll down. If they have any DDs, you'll be able to find a link to them at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, you can add "/dds" after their profile url and click enter on your browser's address bar.
If you don't accept criticism, you won't improveThis statement is, to be blunt, incredibly stupid. I see it repeated around DevianART and, as bad as it is hearing it from the general public, I have to laugh uproarously when I see it coming from an artist. I usually try to be more diplomatic, but sometimes my inner Snape just can't be contained. If you don't accept criticism, you won't improve3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Here is the reality of the situation. A person who is building a set of skills can improve without feedback of any kind. Through trial and error, a human being can identify their own mistakes and, with honest work, rectify those mistakes. To say that this is not possible is so counter to reality as to be absurd. I could give thousands of examples but I'll just say this: if it were not for an individual's ability to invent skills from within themselves we would have absolutely no skills to pass on to other people.
Is this a good reason to reject any kind of negative criticism or criticism in general? Does this mean that criticism is useless? Absolutely not. This
Anime Sucks: The Overgeneralization.Let's Compare!Anime Sucks: The Overgeneralization.4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Let's say you've never seen a movie and decided to go see one for the first time. You find the content of the movie displeasing and leave in the middle of the film. Would you then judge all movies to be unworthy of watching? What if it had been a book? Or a television show? Or music? Or a video game?
Anime is just like that. Everytime I hear someone say, "How I hate anime!" or "All anime is terrible" or "Fans of Anime are so obnoxious." All I can think to myself is, "oh so you've seen all anime ever and have met all anime fans? Wow I didn't know you had so much free time!"
It's an overgeneralization. There are a lot of anime that a person might not like, but there might actually be one they find that appeals to their interest. One cannot simply decide anime is terrible when they've only see an episode from one or two or met a few people that were fans who they didn't like.
I've also sometimes heard overgeneralizations such a

Lara's Adventure on QTE Island. For how many more years am I going to have to put up with new titles pretending that: a cutscene, which you have to watch again and again if you don't press a button at the right time, constitutes as "gameplay"?Lara's Adventure on QTE Island.2 years ago in Personal More Like This
It never has and never will.
It doesn't make a game more cinematic. It doesn't add a sense of thrill. It simply makes viewers (I can't call them "players", as that would imply they are actually permitted to DO something) dread cutscenes, because they have no idea if they're going to be allowed to enjoy them or if they're going to have to watch them 5 times in a row because they fail to hit the random sequence of buttons indicated on the screen.
A game is thrilling ONLY when the player uses the control scheme effectively within the game environment. If the game needs to take control away from the player and lead them by the nose through a cutscene, it's been lazily constructed and as a result: isn't fun.
If you are a games designer and you have proposed a Quick Time

Alright before we get into the details of this, I'm going to tell you guys a story.
My sophomore year of high school came with a lot of challenges for my family. We were hit with what felt like a thousand pounds of horror when we were told that my mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Saying we were scared is a huge understatement. Looking back in that moment I remember feeling so small. So helpless.....and I was so scared. I thought I was going to lose my mom. I just felt like no matter what I did, it wasn't enough. I would spend hours trying to help mom around the house or doing things for other people somehow hoping, I guess, that the good karma would make it all go away.
I watched her go through her treatments and I remember how strong she was. Shortly after my mother finished Chemotherapy, we discovered my father had skin cancer. This is a disease that has made a great impact on my family, my friends, and the whole of society.

I have never found a companion who was so companionable as solitude.
Henry David Thoreau
By :icontechgnotic: techgnotic
I I always thought of Thoreau’s comment as simply a word game — clever but ultimately false at its core. A Valentines Day without a Valentine means being alone and alone means being unhappy. It’s taken many years to finally understand the truth in Thoreau’s words. We are never so alone as when in the company of loving family and friends, our Valentine companion held tight in our arms – but knowing we are lost, unfulfilled in our dreams and visions, and untrusting in our own inner counsel. Now I hope to one day seek companions

A New Wind Lifts Storytelling
First imagined as a bedtime tale for his son by Kenneth Grahame in 1908, The Wind in the Willows has remained in the top twenty children’s stories ever since. But things have been getting weird out in the Willows, as the new comic on deviantART, Weirding Willows, will attest to.
Badger, Mole, Ratty and Mr. Toad are back… but they’re joined by Alice, Frankenstein’s Monster, Mowgli, The White Rabbit, Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny as they defend the world from the Wicked Witch of the West, Doctor Moreau, the Mad Hatter, Mister Hyde and the Queen of Hearts (not to mention the flying nightmare monkeys from Wizard of Oz.)
