He heard the order whispered hollowly on his comm unit, knew and trusted the voice that spoke it. The order was a crushing treachery, but it could spark no more hatred from his already bitter heart. His hand moved to the comm without his awareness and he thought he could hear himself screaming, raw disbelief.
"But we're still down here! We're still down here!"
The order was given again, despite his appeals.
"Activate the Mass Shadow Generator."
Those engaged in life-and-death battles around him stopped as his voice discharged over the landscape like the sudden blast of a gun that had been held to your forehead, the voice of one man pushed with injustice after injustice. Their eyes were bloodshot, dirty with guilt and the lives of the thousands they had murdered, wild with the frenzy of adrenaline and the power of unleashing death's hand to any who drew too near. They could not understand why this man would bother shouting when he could be killing. But they came to understand wh

Kahan picked his head up and looked around the bridge of the assault ship with a frown.
“Is everyone alright?”
“We're fine General.”
Kahan looked to the clone officer. “Are there any casualties?”
“Still checking sir.”
“Find those in need of medical attention and assess the damage to the ship as best as you are able. Begin deploying our forces, we have a battle to fight.”
Kahan's comlink chimed. “This is Master Kahan.”
“Master Kahan, are you unharmed?” came Master Kenobi's voice.
“So it would seem, I am awaiting further assessment from the crew on the ship's status.”
“I may be able to save you the trouble. Your forward strut is crushed, the prow of the assault ship is imbedded into the ferrocrete.”
Kahan nodded his understanding. “Thank you Master Kenobi, then at least our egress ra

The cold halls of Invisible Hand seemed to sap the life out of everything that lurked throughout each corridor, lending each soul living within the hivemind of mechanical droids and endless passages an icey shoulder. The two Jedi assaulted through these ways with a spearhead mounting them: the force. Each way they turned they seemed confident they would find their way to him. They were assured they would catch him this time. The corner they turned would've have been one like any other, had only their eyes not met in utter peril with what lay in front of them.
A cadre of battle droids loomed over as a wall, primarily made up of the advanced Super Battle Droid models and a few of the fierce magnaguards that stood with their metal shoulders straight and their staff's in hand. The one which sported a hairy red across his chin had immediatley turned to the center of the automatons, looking to see the core machination among them all
My Reason To Live - Ch 2, Pt 1It was only eight days after Grievous's arrival that the Grendaju phenomena known as Un'Roksora enveloped the land in darkness. The villagers of Krushan lit metal lanterns through the village during the normal hours there was once daylight to continue through everyday life, and extinguish them to signify the night hours when all should be asleep. The "never ending night" brought with it the illusion of colder storms and more frequent snowfall, as well as the reality of more difficult hunts for food. Krushan began reserving their rations, and on the heels of such actions brought another famine. My Reason To Live - Ch 2, Pt 16 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Grievous had taken a job for the village after his own hut was built; he had taken the duty as a hunter until the never ending night set in. He remembered from his past life that most big game were hibernating until the daylight returned, so the only meat to be gathered was the fish in the frozen lakes south of the village. The thought of being a celebrated and feared general spending

and watch the crimson sunset into dusk.
I walk beneath the stars, bow to the moon,
unafraid of the darkened, sleeping streets.
My ears grow sharper as my dark eyes dim,
my world is made of shades and secret sounds:
soft whispers from a bedroom; a prowling
felines cry; watching eyes circling above
sirens howling across the miles - not all
nightwalkers are so quiet as I - yet
the gliding hunter is my friend, not theirs.
I smile to hear its hidden metal voice.
Then, as the birds call in the smooth grey light
before dawn, I sleep, and dream of twilight.

(A General Grievous "what if" story)
The war of clones and droids was over, yet the galaxy was still at unease. The mighty Jedi have fallen one by one, and the Galactic Republic deteriorated into a strict Empire overnight. Many were uncertain about the future, but none were more uncertain than the people of the Outer Rim planet of Kalee.
The few who knew of Kalee knew its lush jungles and arid canyons. The Huk War created an unforgiving desert wasteland on the western continent, and the Kaleesh tribes were suffering from famine and plagues. It was not a place where one would willingly go to call home, as the planet suffered crisis after crisis.
But for a fallen general of the droid army, home was the only place left to go.
Far from the jungles, canyons and wasteland is the southern ice cap of Kalee which the natives called Grendaju. In the frigid cold, constant snowfall and thin lakes of ice were the tribe of Kaleesh called the Naah. The below zero temperatures and co

You pulled my body to yours
Your lips taste like June
And your skin like summer rain
Wait for me,and I'll come-soon.
I want to know your dreams.
The ones on the inside of your eyelids
Those wrapped into the smell of my lashes
And the purple dust I'll always need.
I live for the touch of your fingers.
Then,our bodies start to burn.
I need you close,so close.
Wait for me,and I'll return.
Don't let the snow take our love.
Without your love, there is no me.
Cause I have no ordinary lucks.
And I have no ordinary sins.
You should know I'll always be there.
We left marks on each other's skin.
For us,there is no end.
I'll stand beside you when you leave.

Alright so the module started off with the group getting captured and imprisoned on a Star Destroyer, and then sometime after that happens a Rebel fleet shows up and beats the hell out of the Star Destroyer giving the group a chance to escape and all the human characters can get an Imperial naval officer's uniform too. So we're winding our way through the ship finding out how bad the damage is and also finding out about the attack on the ship too. So we get to one hallway intersection and in our way was three stormtroopers with an E-Web blaster set up (The E-Web is a squad portable weapon, if you watch Empire Strikes Back you can see one being set up as the Rebels are escaping from Echo Base on Hoth).
So one guy in the group who's playing a Wookiee decides he's going to run across the hallway first. So his character takes off, they shoot at him h

At the end of the Galactic Civil War, with the destruction of the World Devastators and subsequent fall of the Empire, the galaxy entered a time of relative peace. But all was not well.
Several smaller factions, inspired by the Galactic Empire's success and thinking they could do better, attempted to establish empires of their own. Many attempts were crushed immediately by much more powerful opponents, but many others succeeded in gaining a foothold, and began to spread. The galaxy had a new plague upon it: many warring factions, each trying to gain control, but accomplishing little more than the gradual destruction of the very places they were trying to conquer.
The more powerful factions, such as the New Republic and the old Rebel Alliance, were able to hold back the onslaught, and protect their citizens from tyranny. But requests for protection by weaker states began to stretch them thin, and their lines began to falter. The galaxy needed help.
This help came in the form of

But after five years, he stopped paying attention to most of them, too sick of the pain, the sense of loss, and the rage.

The # on the Circle above corresponds with the # below:

She looks behind her, to footprints in the soft,

Drawing her hood about her face, head down,
she keeps walking. Always walking. She does not
know where she is going.
She tries to keep her eyes fixed on the earth,
but somehow her eye is always drawn upwards
to the soft blue sky.
She sees the hawks circling, spinning, rejoicing
in their airy liberty. Her bloody hands tremble as
she is consumed by her regrets.
Every day, she is falling, lost, purposeless. Knowing
her destiny, but unable to reach it. Every day, she loses
a piece of her soul into darkness.
Above all else she fears the void.
