only the chill howl of the wind
against cold flesh, raw heart, dark soul.
He stumbles, blind, tears freezing
as soon as fallen, sobs torn from
his aching, hollow breast.
Roots reach out to seize him
and he crashes to the earth,
a latter-day Lucifer.
Nothing is clear, save his guilt,
the overwhelming guilt in his heart.
He knows he deserves this exile.
He lies, broken, spent,
staring at bloodstained palms
unable to tell in his madness
that the blood is his own.
The wind cuts and burns,
freezes and torments
until it fills the world.
He hears it screaming:

Kahan picked his head up and looked around the bridge of the assault ship with a frown.
“Is everyone alright?”
“We're fine General.”
Kahan looked to the clone officer. “Are there any casualties?”
“Still checking sir.”
“Find those in need of medical attention and assess the damage to the ship as best as you are able. Begin deploying our forces, we have a battle to fight.”
Kahan's comlink chimed. “This is Master Kahan.”
“Master Kahan, are you unharmed?” came Master Kenobi's voice.
“So it would seem, I am awaiting further assessment from the crew on the ship's status.”
“I may be able to save you the trouble. Your forward strut is crushed, the prow of the assault ship is imbedded into the ferrocrete.”
Kahan nodded his understanding. “Thank you Master Kenobi, then at least our egress ra

and watch the crimson sunset into dusk.
I walk beneath the stars, bow to the moon,
unafraid of the darkened, sleeping streets.
My ears grow sharper as my dark eyes dim,
my world is made of shades and secret sounds:
soft whispers from a bedroom; a prowling
felines cry; watching eyes circling above
sirens howling across the miles - not all
nightwalkers are so quiet as I - yet
the gliding hunter is my friend, not theirs.
I smile to hear its hidden metal voice.
Then, as the birds call in the smooth grey light
before dawn, I sleep, and dream of twilight.

He heard the order whispered hollowly on his comm unit, knew and trusted the voice that spoke it. The order was a crushing treachery, but it could spark no more hatred from his already bitter heart. His hand moved to the comm without his awareness and he thought he could hear himself screaming, raw disbelief.
"But we're still down here! We're still down here!"
The order was given again, despite his appeals.
"Activate the Mass Shadow Generator."
Those engaged in life-and-death battles around him stopped as his voice discharged over the landscape like the sudden blast of a gun that had been held to your forehead, the voice of one man pushed with injustice after injustice. Their eyes were bloodshot, dirty with guilt and the lives of the thousands they had murdered, wild with the frenzy of adrenaline and the power of unleashing death's hand to any who drew too near. They could not understand why this man would bother shouting when he could be killing. But they came to understand wh

Alright so the module started off with the group getting captured and imprisoned on a Star Destroyer, and then sometime after that happens a Rebel fleet shows up and beats the hell out of the Star Destroyer giving the group a chance to escape and all the human characters can get an Imperial naval officer's uniform too. So we're winding our way through the ship finding out how bad the damage is and also finding out about the attack on the ship too. So we get to one hallway intersection and in our way was three stormtroopers with an E-Web blaster set up (The E-Web is a squad portable weapon, if you watch Empire Strikes Back you can see one being set up as the Rebels are escaping from Echo Base on Hoth).
So one guy in the group who's playing a Wookiee decides he's going to run across the hallway first. So his character takes off, they shoot at him h

Upon the breath of sorrow,
Within the dampened hearts of wretches,
Hopeless as the rain that drenches,
Fearless yet not cold to grief,
As sure as a tomorrow.
It sleeps within a weary heart,
Forgotten by the found,
For it is not a waking power,
Worshiped rightly by the dour,
No, it cannot quell the pain,
It seeks to thus expound.
Yet beyond these anxious feats
For those, the scattered wise,
It is as peaceful as the dance
Or the many muttered chants
Of those who seek to break it with,
Their loud and strangled cries.
Do not fear the empty whisper,
In the dark of night,
It hopes to tell you of your fears,
Yet beyond its cheerless sneers,
You may find your heart content,
Beyond imagined plight.
The Twelve - 1Aradia sighed and shifted in her sleep. Her thick black hair was tangled beneath her head and her mind was far away in dreams. Standing beside her friends bed, Pelana smiled at the peace on her pretty face. Finally deciding that Aradia could not sleep the day through, and had to wake sooner rather than later, Pelana reached out a hand and briskly shook the sleeper.
Aradia opened her green eyes slowly, her mind rising from the murk of deep sleep.
Good afternoon. greeted the brunette in a voice that seemed to Aradias drowsy consciousness to be maliciously cheerful. Late night by any chance? You were still working when I fell asleep.
Aradia struggled upright in bed and untangled the furs from around her lithe form.
You have no idea. she said hoarsely, sounding half asleep still. I could see the sky

The pandaren smiled, laughing a bit as she did. “We are not all positive, Magistrix. Some of us, like our Lord Zhu are quite hot-headed and stubborn. But we respect him,” the other sat down, placing her paws on the table and drumming a light melody. “Because he has lead us to prosperous times. You know,” she tapped the wood with a claw. “I am probably not the best pandaren to speak to about this. I am not native to Pandaria. I was born to a curious farming family back on Shen-zin Su.”
“The Wandering Isle,” the elf muttered.
The pandaren clapped once with great enthusiasm. “Correct. Pandaria and Shen-zin Su, to an outsider, might seem one in the same. A

Kevin the Blasphemer, ruler of a thousand worlds, turned warily around the next corner and into a dark stone room. He was lost in an insane game of the gods, trapped in a maze of indefinite dimensions, a test of his faith. Stripped of all but his wit, he carried on. Slowly he felt his way through the dark, damp chamber. Then he heard it, the grinding of stone on stone, the closing of one door and opening of another.
Before him, light poured through the new opening, and he could see what appeared to be the outside world again. But then the image began to ripple and blur as if it was made of some sort of liquid. Out sprung the first of them.
What the fuck?!? said Kevin of the Rokitkas. It was a rat, and upon its back sat a Pygmy Leprechaun wielding a welding torch. Then to his dismay, Kevin noticed that a rocket launcher took the place of this rats face.

They all blossom around me.
Their leaves are green
and their color so vivid.
They're facing the sun openly,
petals spread out,
embracing what awaits,
whether it be nature
or one another.
They stand tall,
joyfully looking up.
And here I am.
My petals have wilted
and my leaves are a rotten brown.
I stand slouching over
Looking down at my roots.
Why are they blossoming,
while I'm the only one who's dying?

A Star Wars story by emotionalshadows and MilosAndric
The sun was bright and had a large center filled with yellow and little streaks of red and orange. The planet of Nar Shaddaa, a smuggler’s hideout or place for refuge, was bustling with people of all different species from all across the galaxy. The many bars on the planet’s surface were packed full of Smugglers and Bounty Hunters.
“You seem a little bit worried, Stanton.” A voice from over his shoulder came quickly from nowhere.
“Why do you say that?” Stanton was a smuggler, a rather great one. He had worked for the Sith for over 5 standard years, enough to make a regular man insane, but that was not the man Stanton was. Stanton was a hard-headed man; he rarely became frustrated or nervous. He was always a well-thought man, someone who always thought

Star Wars: The Lost ChaptersPrologueStar Wars: The Lost Chapters9 years ago in Science Fiction More Like This
At the end of the Galactic Civil War, with the destruction of the World Devastators and subsequent fall of the Empire, the galaxy entered a time of relative peace. But all was not well.
Several smaller factions, inspired by the Galactic Empire's success and thinking they could do better, attempted to establish empires of their own. Many attempts were crushed immediately by much more powerful opponents, but many others succeeded in gaining a foothold, and began to spread. The galaxy had a new plague upon it: many warring factions, each trying to gain control, but accomplishing little more than the gradual destruction of the very places they were trying to conquer.
The more powerful factions, such as the New Republic and the old Rebel Alliance, were able to hold back the onslaught, and protect their citizens from tyranny. But requests for protection by weaker states began to stretch them thin, and their lines began to falter. The galaxy needed help.
This help came in the form of
