How can one be honest
----if there is no truth?
Some people die for disagreements,
----therein lies your proof.
How do you bake a batch of cookies
----if there is no spoon?
How many no-ones does it take
----to set a fire to this room?
Heroin or clarity-
----better than sex!
Make a beast out of a man,

Exposure is the only guru

'cause chaos is the only culture

Who is to say the shaping of a precious stone
----is not a flaw?
How many scratches must abrade

How many lines in parallel
----betray the author of the scars?
How many stitches in absentia
----weave a cuirass for the heart?
Homage to HypatiaLady of the roman Egypt,Homage to Hypatia5 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
The end of your days truly
Is quite sad.
Wise you were,
Wise and brilliant woman
Whose knowledge is lost,
Whose talent was a victim
Of the worst evil there is:
The blind sheep of the
God of war,
Ares of Zion,
Who even makes Odin
The evil planner disgusted,
Truly brought to you pain
And a death so cruel.
Your flesh was ripped from
Your bones by sea shells,
Stones were thrown and,
As in every woman called
Whatever remained was
You surely proved the truth
About Yahweh's insanity!
How sadening it is that the
Sheep glorify your death,
Bath themselves in your
Misery and worship those
You killed you.
True monsters is what God
You should be an example to
All the femalekind,
But instead they choose God,
The mad god,
And submit themselves to the
Instead of praising you for how
Kind you were.
It is the whore who aborted
Christ the only admired woman.

"God gaves us free will, ergo it's pur own fault": Except that the Bible nor the Qu'ran put emphasis on free will. Hell, this excuse is so very recent, that, until a few centuries ago, the idea that God had absolute control over our lives was very popular.
"Its our fault; Adam and Eve's sin created evil, not God!": If you have read Genesis, you'll know this is bullshit (Hell, even Yahweh admits he created evil!). Likewise, at no point is the first sin ever considered a "Pandora's Box" situation.
"God is goodness incarnate! Evil is against his nature!":...have you even read the Bible? Yahweh is also considered to not be goodness incarnate until the NT and Qu'ran; in the OT, he is treated as a Lawful Neutral agent.
"Your're putting everything out of context!": Considering I actually bother to read the Bible/Qu'ran, while you only cherry pick passages your pastor dictates...
"He died for your sins! You should be grateful!":

Why is it?
Why is it God hates some,
and not others.
How is it?
How is it that we can do something for the wrong reason,
and still be holier then thou.
When was it?
When was it, that I forgot kindness,
forsaking all means of humanity.
What day did they stop loving me,
I told the truth, yet they beat me and threw me out.
Where did I go?
Where did I go wrong in loving him,
I gave him everything, yet he hurt me in ways I cannot heal.
Ask yourself, does God truly hate us;
be we of different sex,
be we of colour,
be we gay or straight,
be our beliefs lay elsewhere?
You can ask all you wish, but the truth lies in your own mind and soul.
I don't know about you, but God does not hate me.
For why would a creator hate ones own masterpieces?

That blunt comment will be my thesis statement for this 'essay'.
I have a deep conceited love/hate relationship with this site. I love the easy to use interface and the many different members (make your own joke about artistic nudes) but I hate the attitude that a lot of younger deviants have. For some strange reason, these kids (and some adults) seem to hate being told that their art is less than perfect and will throw a tantrum if you even imply that their art is unoriginal/not very good. I like to call this attitude "deviantART ego". People with this mentality reject critique in all its forms and will block you for being a "troll". This attitude probably stems from the lack of actual critique on this site. Some submissions almost always receive positive comments and favs from everyone. These posts normally contain:
a) "Artistic Nudes"
b) A character or OC from some popular anime/book/video game/ect.

1) My beliefs are perfectly justified. As such, I don't need to provide evidence for the existence of my god or the historicity of my dogma.
2) Cherry-picking the bible is perfectly acceptable when I use it to validate my beliefs. However, it is not acceptable when non-christians use it to repudiate/invalidate my beliefs.
3) Belief in the christian god is an essential component to a morally and ethically sound world-view. Anyone who doesn't believe in my god can't possibly be moral and ethical...despite appearances to the contrary...
4) I demand respect for my beliefs but I'm under no obligation to extend the same to non-believers and people of other faiths.
5) Science can't possibly be right if it contradicts the unverifiable myths and fairy-tales contained in my holy text...like the fact that a wooden ship the size of the ark would never be sea-worthy under any circumstance...

God is angry. He decides to destroy all humans, beasts, creeping things, fowls, and "all flesh wherein there is breath of life." He plans to drown them all.6:7, 17
"Every living substance that I have made will I destroy."
God repeats his intention to kill "every living substance ... from off the face of the earth." But why does God kill all the innocent animals? What had they done to deserve his wrath? It seems God never gets his fill of tormenting animals. 7:4
"All flesh died that moved upon the earth."
God drowns everything that breathes air. From newborn babies to koala bears -- all creatures great and small, the Lord God drowned them all. 7:21-23
God tells Abram to kill some animals for him. The needless slaughter makes God feel better. 15:9-10
God kills everyone (men, women, children, infants, newborns) in Sodom and Gomorrah by
Religion and War Without religion there would still be war; however, without religion there would be less war. Religion is what motivates the jihadists, and religious differences provides at least some of the support for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Throughout history many wars have been fought due religious differences. The Crusades were motivated by religion and the less well known Thirty Years’ War was also motivated by religion. Those are just two (well the Crusades were actually several different wars, but you get my point) of the many wars fought for religious reasons. Wars fought for religious reasons are among the most brutal and horrific of all. Without religion wars would likely be fought for two main reasons: resources and ideologies. Wars for resources would be relatively cold-blooded affairs, although in any war there will be atrocities and counter atrocities. I am the one who will manipulate you. I will mirror you values, study your emotions, get in closer to you. Then I will take you for all you've got. I will leave you drained, devastated, weeping as you wonder where you went wrong. I will ruin your life, and I will enjoy it.
I am the one who has no morality. I pretend to know what right and wrong are, but this is another mask. In truth, they mean nothing to me, nothing more than delusions for the weak. I break the rules for fun, for profit, and most of all, just because I can.
