EDIT (6/16/08): This project is no longer in production and hasn't been for months. If you are just finding this picture now, take note that the description below is not coming to pass, I'm only keeping it for archival purposes.
The Site has been revamped with a new look! The banner above the site is subject to change in the future, but this is how things will be for the time being.
One more month has passed since the prevention of another D-Bug infection, thanks to the efforts of our heroes...who are beginning to not only lose their interest in the game, but their trust in the Netkings as well. Ultimate Creature II has become more and more elusive to the public eye of TOME since the end of the 'mission', and Kirbopher and the rest of the gang start to ponder as to what they should do next. Gamecrazed, still in his redemption state, works closely with the Netkings in order to remove the now fully absorbed second half of the D-Bug virus from his character model, in an attempt to further prevent the chance of the infection taking over TOME.
...however, little do the good guys know that their next, final, and biggest threat of all is already slowly making its presence known. The mysterious virus programmer, self-procclaimed "Seventh Netking", and the root of all dangerous activity that has sneaked its way into TOME has finally come back...DarkEyesofAnubis. With him, he brings a team of incredibly powerful users, who call themselves "The Guild of Anubis". Alpha must return to the game with full force, and will soon realize the true power of the various viruses that plague the virtual world, including a brand new virus more powerful than Kagemamoru and the D-Bug combined. Lives will be put at risk, as DarkEyes initiates his sick and twisted scheme of revenge upon the long-running game, and heroes and villains, new AND old will need to put aside their differences in an effort to stop THE worst possible scenario to befall TOME from happening. There are many mysteries yet to be resolved, but one thing is for certain...everything is linked back to the original beta-version of TOME, the rumors surrounding it, and something that even the Netkings completely overlooked...
If our heroes don't take action, TOME may indeed, literally become...Ground Zero.
Alright, now that I have your attention, it's about time I got into the details. I'm going to say this outright, I am NOT going to be doing Season 4...or at least, not in the way you're used to seeing TTA. I reffered to Episode 073 as the last episode of its kind. To elaborate, Season 4 was going to encompass Episodes 074 all the way up to 100 being the finale. I have come to the conclusion that TTA isn't really getting me anywhere in the grand scheme of things. I WILL admit, that I enjoyed working on Season 3 a lot more than I originally thought, despite its very derivative storyline. Nonetheless, Go! Go! Parody Rangers! (the second episode of which will be my next current project, probably to be released in May) proved to be MUCH more successful as a full-fledged hand-drawn flash movie as opposed to TTA...in its format with sprites, and no voice acting. I appreciate all of the feedback and fans I've gained from the 70+ episodes I've made up to this point, but I've reached my limit, and I CANNOT animate over 25 more of these types of flash movies. It's time to move on to other things.
However! I was VERY proud of Season 4's storyline, and I don't want it to go to waste, so you WILL be able to get the experience (somewhat) in animated form. I know this decision of mine will probably be controversial with many of you, but this is what I'm going to do. I have planned out scripts and layouts for two "OVA"s, if you will, which I will be placing as Episodes 074 & 075. These two movies, which will be fully hand-drawn and voice acted, will essentially cover the ENTIRE story arc of Season 4 into condensed, Parody Rangers style (for lack of a better term), special movies. This way, they have a better chance of getting some actual attention on Newgrounds and other places, in order to mildly accomplish something, and it will also give me a way to end the story the way I wanted to. Additional information on the other Season 4 characters and details of the storyline will be present in the official art pics of them I'll be submitting to DeviantArt (I have a large amount of them already done, too!). I will start on these two movies after Parody Rangers 2 is complete, so expect them to be around by this summer, hopefully before Otakon if I'm given enough time. I'll have even more information after GGPR2, so stay tuned!
Third commission for MISTAAAAAAAAAAAAAH KIRBOPHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
And I know CZ-Backlash was next, but I needed info, got it, and was already near done with this piece, so figured I'd finish it.
This was paid for WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back at Otakon 2006. He more or less gave me free reign to do what I wanted with it so long as it involved two TTA characters. I tell you what, I had...still HAVE...a lot of ideas as to what I wanted to do. Two of which will see light one day, actually. But eventually settled on what I think is one of the best parts in TTA to date.
Should I really mark for spoilers? Ya'll shoulda seen by now.
The final scene between GameCrazed and Motherboard within the D-Bug's flames really impressed me, from the delivery given by both their voice actors, everyone's favorite Wise Mankey playing GameCrazed and Haushinka giving life to Motherboard, to the overall feeling of the scene. Most people may have gotten a feeling of incompletion from it, but I saw it as one of those "leave it to the imagination" endings that are usually seen in most other animes. The kind that leave you wondering, yet with some sort of completion as well.
Motherboard's hair was a touch difficult to really capture without the, as I like to affectionately call it, GLOWY GLOWY GLOWY GLOWY the animated model provides. And in all honesty, it kinda looks like she streaks it something fierce. I should prolly have left a bit more of the yellow portion, much like how it is on her character sheet. GameCrazed was suprisingly fun to color and I was really getting into it, but once I reached the legs and started to get confused as to where I thought the light was coming from (all around), it kinda derailed. :/
I had to RAPE Poser 4 to get the overall pose. Motherboard's positioning was the defining factor as to whether or not you'd see GC's feet and I originally hadn't sketched them out. He had different feet in both pieces this form of him were in, so I decided not to go with the Ninja Turtle feet and more along the lines of the shoe-like ones. Having to had added them in at the last minute, forgive their being crappy.
In the scene itself, they were just in some sort of purple void. I knew that wouldn't fly, so I added some flame like streaks, kind of as if the void itself were moving. I guess?
In closing, I rather like drawing Motherboard. So what if she's heavily influenced off of Serenade from Megaman Battle Network (in all honesty, there are a few noticeable changes. Hell, it's no different from the SR version of Lina Inverse).
August 25th, 2004, at 3:21 in the afternoon. Two years ago I started this crazy little flash movie series about a buncha' kids who just wanted to have fun, but then ended up being thrown into things bigger than them all. As I've often said before, there are times where I'm not always proud of WHAT I've done with the series. In retrospect, it's a bunch of sprite flash movies, text only, with barely any actual voice acting except on a few exceptions, annoying buttons, and a plot that when you think about it is really just a different telling of .hack// and the Megaman.EXE series with some Dragonball thrown in...made by a guy who represents himself as a white kirby with a link hat. Because of that, I as the creator have had mixed feelings on these movies I've been doing for the past couple of years. But there've always been some things I HAVE been proud of. One, any sort of originality that I'm able to put it that makes it not just a complete ripoff of pre-existing material. Two, I've had many people that I'm good storyteller. Among the many attributes of the series, the story and storytelling style is something that I truly DO feel proud of among all else... Three, lastly and most importantly, I can't take all of the credit for how far I've gotten at this point, because I'm thankful to have so many people helping me. All of my voice actors, all of my sprite artists, the music contributors, anyone who's given me feedback on whatever site or in whatever form you can, and even the people who've sparked such little ideas that ended up being big deals in the series at this point in time.
So this picture is dedicated to all of you guys, with the characters that I've all gotten attached to in some way or another. Whether they be based on my first or latest internet friends, people who I considered 'enemies' at any point, or even those made out of thin air...
Alpha: Ultimate Creature II, Kirbopher, Flamegirl, Gamecrazed, Gamecrasher, Nailock, Zetto, Ruri, Giga, Rob*, Saturndiva, White Queen, Sniperwave, Tamerlisa, Foreva, Hamstar, Ericho, Thunder256, Shogun, Tsuzuku, T-Bones, Grounder, Raccoon, Sojojo, Blingbling, Ravenfreak, Splat, Demon King, Neomutant, Simdragon, Tormentros, Torben, Sk8rboi, Dustbunny, Anidoug, PaperAceChase, Darkblazer, Kinetix, Dikayes, MysteryX, Orbit, AKAKK, Webmaster, Kindarspirit, Blitz128, Rubyrulz, EXE, Phaxal, Phetus. Counted 49 characters? There's a 50th one in there, but you can't see them. It'll make sense in the future, trust me.
...and so, I can only hope that I can finish the entire series for all of you guys to see, because I DO have an conclusion for the story. We're still far away from it, so I want to continue as much as I can, as long as you guys will stay here with me. So that's what I ask. To anyone who's reading this anywhere, just tell me, even if you weren't here from the very beginning, what do you really think of the series and where it's gotten at this point?
NAILOCK, KOTETSU RYU! He's probably become the most popular TTA character of all, hell even Alpha likes him more than his own character. His name and basic design was made by my irl friend, Colin. Colin spelled backwards is Niloc, but from the way he pronounces it, it sounds like "Nailock" (Nah-ee-lohk) thus the name, and Kotetsu Ryu translates from Japanese as "Steel Dragon." His character design is a type I use a lot in my spikey-haired characters, same typical armor and cape, and I REALLY like how I made his sword, I even included the little "Koori" (Ice) symbol on it. Also, the pose on this pic was yet another Zero pose, when he holds his sword. Now that the five main characters are done, it's time to start working on the others ^_^
Season 4 promotional picture. I made this a while ago actually, back during the previous February. The poses are mostly based on the cover of the 12th and final volume of the AWESOME manga series, Death Note. I found a picture of the cover and instantly got inspired. I figured there isn't too much harm in putting this up, since it doesn't really contain any nasty spoilers. This picture also heavily coincides with Season 4's main theme, which is "things are not what they seem".
OMG the character art is back!? Since when!? Now. Here's Netking Zetto in his second outfit, which is obviously based on Vegeta's saiyan armor. I think this will come in handy for reference when I'm doing art trades with people, I also like how the sword came out. I haven't really DRAWN his sword...ever. Til now. I also drew the lineart for this one on the back of a test paper XD Hope you guys like it!
Aaaah yes, I remember the first time Alpha ever went psycho on Tvtome and became his "demon form" every time his chat thread reached 100 pages. Then Flamy'd make him normal again with a touching scene, it was like being in a real anime! Good times, Good times. We were talking to GC and Flamy about our love for Inuyasha at the time, and Alpha LOVED Inuyasha's full-blooded demon form, thus causing me to make this lil number. Originally Alpha wanted him to have red shaded clothes, but I went with this instead cuz it's easier and I'm a lazyass >> Also the pose used for this one...well what did I use for Alpha, Zetto, Nailock AND Rob*...ZERO! ZERO GODAMMIT! HE'S GOING TO KILL US ALL FOR USING HIS SPRITES TOO MUCH! WAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!
It's now officially August 25th. Three years ago I submitted Episode 001 to Newgrounds.com and started TvTome Adventures. There were good times and bad times, decent points and horrible moments. Now it's over, seriously. On the latest episode of Wha-Chow! I answer all of your questions. It's a long one so grab some chips 'n dip or something, sit back and enjoy. This is the closest thing you'll ever get to finale.
Big special thanks to Psy for recording this for me.
Happy Freakin' Anniversary, and GOOD. NIGHT.
It's an illustration of a bit from one of my favourite TTA episodes, where Kirbopher faces off against Cailen!
I guess this doubles in as a gift for my good buddy Cailen eh? yay! hope you like it too Cailen :3
The contest said that the entry had to be handdrawn, i'm really hoping that this is okay, because it is still hand-drawn but using a wacom tablet. It started as a rough sketch anyway though. It was all done using a Wacom tablet, so although it is made all pretty with the digital-ness, it is still hand-drawn.
I don't know how far i'll go because i've seen some REALLY good stuff being entered, but hey here's to hoping.
Stil need to get to work on completing my sprite sheet so that this entry is valid for Kirb's contest, so i still got work to do.
wish me luck everyone!
EDIT: SORRY SORRY! HOW COULD I FORGET?

Birthday present for my BEEESTEST FWEEEEND, Mike "Ultimate Creature II" Luckas, known to all of you as Alpha. I went with a similiar approach to my birthday present pic for last year, but much more shiney thanks to my improved photoshop and general drawing skills. I think this turned out pretty well, and even the background looks kinda cool, which is an rarity for me. Yes, I know he's not 18, but I liked the idea for the title, dammit XD; Hope ya like it, dude :3
