just the moon and a tree on the right..
tried some photoshop on this one, for the sky was like gray.. and i just like the sky to be black when the moon is up :P

I used 2 layers
one for reducing noise..
and one with some curve adjustments

not very happy with the noise reduction though..
maybe I'll scrap this one later on

full view please.

Full moon peering behind clouds.

I took two different shots, one of the moon itself, and one of the clouds with different exposure, of course, to illuminate them better. Konica Minolta maxxum 5D + 100-300 tamron.

Ok, so I really had a blue sky for the background, but I lowered the exposure, and this is what I got, hope you like it. I was suprised with the kind of detail I was able to get out of a 300 mm focal length in the moon.

Motivation :
i was really impressed by the scenery of the moon being surrounded by the clouds as it was lighting the whole world around me.
i was in the middle of the sea having a boat journey hmmm was a real lovely night.

Tools :
* Tokina 300mm
* Olympus E-500

Procedures :
For this result I used bracketing technique

Exposure bracketing means that you take two more pictures: one slightly under-exposed (usually by dialing in a negative exposure compensation, say -1/3EV), and the second one slightly over-exposed (usually by dialing in a positive exposure compensation, say +1/3EV), again according to your camera's light meter.
So simply I did 3 pictures to get the clouds and the sharp picture of the moon

At the end would like to say that I am sure that this is not considered as one of the best moon pictures but I just wanted to show you what I achieved as am not going to invest more money to shoot astrologic pictures anymore.
Regards everyone and thanks for the support.
