Another non-City of Heroes commission and probably one of my sillier notions but there is nothing silly about this artwork! These guys killed it!
's Brother (get that guy a dA account!)
When I was first getting back into deviantART and collecting back in May, the llama badges were a relatively new thing. In the midst of the frenzy, I happened to notice that one of the more coherent anagrams of my first and last name was 'Blood Llamas.' I kind of got a chuckle out of that and that snowballed into wondering just what Blood Llamas could be. Being a big fan of the various urban dramas of the early 1990s, I knew I had to bring some 'urban llamas' to life. I looked around a little and then the enormously talented guys above entered the picture.
My llama fire has cooled a bit since I placed the order but this thing has such a rich texture and great look, I think I'm excited about llamas again!
Now if only dA would make us a Blood Llama badge...
Incidentally, these Blood Llamas were not inspired by the Australian comedy-horror film Barn of the Blood Llama
. I had no idea the movie existed until I googled 'Blood Llamas' one day a couple weeks after placing my commission order. I could hardly believe that these two words had ever been used in this combination before. There really is very little new under the sun.
The basic concept is mine but the artists really brought it to life. You can also comment and fave here [link]

just got his first Daily Deviation for this piece. Congrats, Josh! It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
