1) Despite masquerading behind a veil of this 'innocent' self-described "quirkiness" it's actually pretty haughty and pretentious when looked at from another angle.
2) It reeks of blatant and unabashed special snowflakism (almost in the same vein as those other posts with, "i would rather prefer to stay online and being a fanboy/fangirl than doin drugs or havin sex and party liek most kidz my age reblargh if u agree").
Actually, the entire mentality reeks of this really distorted idea that one can't be a partier or drinker/smoker and simultaneously be a frequent internet user or enjoy "nerdy" or "geeky" pursuits as well. Do you honestly think, given this day and age and how widespread and necessary computers have become, that you're the only one "addic

Quick updateHey DA,Quick update3 years ago in Personal More Like This
I finished the first page of my comic last weekend, but I'm going to hold off on
uploading it until I got five more pages done.
The first page is a little bit too vague by itself.
Right now I'm animating the new Eddsworld episode.
Again, so sorry for the slow process. It's coming along nicely now that I'm out
of that depressive mood that I've been having. (Sparing you the details)
I think Tom wants to show the first (two?) scenes at MCM next week,
but I am not entirely sure about it. So keep checking the Eddsworld twitter.
Besides all of that, I am thinking of animating some parodies for a YouTube channel of my own.
Apparently a lot of people get started this way, so I am going to give that a shot.
I know a lot of people that hate that kind of junk, so I apologize in advance, lol.
I won't give this priority over the comic, since that is something I really want to do.
Also.. Any suggestion for a channel name?

Well, this is a surprise I guess it's a good sign if he's out and about, though. Must have been a stress reliever to talk about his music and not the bullshit for a change.
Even more 'About Mikey'Fictional stories are lovely things. Especially dramatic ones that make you cringe. But not when they're about real people. Especially a real person who we all love, and who has stood up for us for so many years.Even more 'About Mikey'3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Fact: Mikey Way has been dating a 20-year old girl named Sarah while still technically married to Alicia.
Also a fact: Mikey and Alicia have been discussing a divorce for a while and, contrary to what everyone thinks, she didn't just find out about Sarah from the Instagram.
Mikey told Gerard about this a while ago, and therefore everyone who's actually, you know, fucking involved (cough cough unlike us cough) already knew.
So, to every MCR fan who's been all-out bitching against Mikey, making assumptions and judging without knowing the full situation, saying you've "lost all respect for Mikey": an enormous fuck you. I say that in the most loving way possible.
We are the MCRmy. This is a band that has given us a home in this world, and so many of us wouldn't have made it
9/11-- Just a reminderMCRmy Boston made a good post and I think it should be reposted here:9/11-- Just a reminder3 years ago in Personal More Like This
To those of you who are old enough to remember 9/11 you have some understanding of how horrible it was. I understand at this point, some of you were too young or just babies at the time, but I want to remind you that this is a serious thing and it's not to be confused as a celebration because MCR was formed from after it and it is not to be taken lightly so I hope that whatever you may say online today, on whatever site you go to, is respectful and tasteful on behalf of all MCR fans.
So just as a reminder, yes, something good came out of this tragedy, but please be respectful and don't try to use this as a party day. I think I can trust most people in this group not to do that but I'm posting this just in case.
Picking Up SteamOkay, so that last journal was kinda... depressing, to say the least. My friend SegaGoGo managed to pull another one out of the hat and introduced me via Skype to Christophe Heral, who happens to be the composer of Rayman Origins, Legends, and is Michel Ancel's buddy. I was surprised Christophe was able to find the time to talk to me, even if the meeting was brief. He was incredibly nice and incredibly helpful with the questions I had for him. He even complimented my Christmas piece I did last year. I told him about my chosen career path, what I do as far as my art, and that I wanted to broaden my horizons with game design. He was kind enough to direct me to independent gaming company Wild Sheep Studio, where Michel is currently the director of a new project called WiLD, which I am super exited about. The conversation left me invigorated. I could feel my drive coming back. The past couple of days I have been studying like I haven't in such a long time. Lucid DreamingI've been seeing a number of How To's for lucid dreaming floating around the web, but do they actually work, I wonder? I actually really, really want to try this lucid dreaming thing for myself at some point, but I've also heard "horror" stories involving sleep paralysis and read accounts from people who said their experiences were more nightmarish and disturbing than genuinely enjoyable (like seeing really fucked up hallucinations and 'ghosts' only to be completely paralyzed and not able to wake up or do anything about it). But I've also seen some people say that lucid dreaming was a really awesome experience when they knew how to do it so I'm sort of split. I guess I sort of want to attempt this for myself just to see if I can, but I don't know. Have any of you ever tried or experienced lucid dreaming? Does it work?Lucid Dreaming4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Randy Queen vs EschergirlsI’ve covered this topic before in a previous journal, but since this is big news now I thought it best to reiterate it: Filing copyright take-down claims for the vast majority of outlets on the internet is frivolous, futile, and usually results in the exact opposite happening of what you intend.Randy Queen vs Eschergirls2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Randy Vs tumblr
Eschergirls, in case you weren't aware, is a hilarious blog where bad female anatomy (and especially the boobs + butt poses women often are contorted into) are put on display to be made fun of, but also for artists to show how simple fixes can completely change a drawing. It's a great website and I strongly recommend you watch their stuff.
For those who don’t know the story, Randy Queen (comic artist and creator of Darkchylde) has filed DMCA take down notices with the tumblr blog eschergirls: http://eschergirls.tumblr.com/ The reason, it seems, is that he didn’t like the idea of people critiquing his questionable anatomy of female characters

Envy: A very basic attack, she copies the foe, she can also transform into the foe.
She's ruthless and doesn't think when she attacks, making her rather clumsy.
Greed: She blocks with her gold claws, It's not very effective. She steals the foe's attacks, (Taking them so there not able to use them). She usually get's distracted by objects.
Lust: She can teleport and duplicate. She also has a "Rage mode" when she doesn't get her way. You can not run from Lust or she will "Rage" making her 10X stronger, she then can use her claws.
Gluttony: Eats everything on site. The only way of stopping her is giving her the wrong foods.
Sloth: She has a lot of block moves. Once she falls asleep, It's impossible for you to touch her.
Pride: She usually doesn't go into battle, more of... Makes everyone turn on each other. One glance in her mirror makes you fall in love with yourself. They tend to fight over each other. The

Derpy is the Everypony We NeedAll the anti-ableism people that support censoring Derpy Hooves are the real ableists. They are upset that someone dares to be not normal in a cartoon for children because it might offend the special needs children. So who's being the real ableist here? Could it be that you are the person that's offended because you feel guilt? And that you're projecting your own feelings onto others?Derpy is the Everypony We Need4 years ago in Art Features More Like This

Good news and bad news. Derpy got the voice we should have had to begin with. The bad, uncrossed eyes and no mention of her name in the episode. Best news: there's now fan versions of the episode that keep the original Rainbowdash conversation and animations, but keeps the new voice. Also the dvd version of the episode is the origi

And honestly, I'm not feeling it. Doug Walker (aka The Nostalgia Critic) has been doing a series where he's been vlogging his experience watching the original Avatar series for the first time (Take a look they're actually really good go watch them! http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/specials ). He's a new fan to the series and his enthusiasm and critique of the original series has only helped to intensify my loathing and hatred of The Legend of Korra's disastrous season finally.
The more I remember how amazing and awesome the original Avatar series is, the less I am interested in picking up the pieces and following these unlikable characters through another series of exploits, especially after haphazardly killing off the main villain in such a clumsy and awkward way. Not only that, but there's no growth to the main character at all. There's no journey of her learning how to be an Air Bender the way there was

No matter what they say deviantART is still an art community.
Despite some too suggestive images on the front page and a chance you will meet a hater/troll, aren't we all here to breathe in some art, and create our own reflections?

I hope you will like this and support me to continue featuring talented people in the future.

Golden freddy x Springtrap ch.1SPRINGTRAPS P.O.VGolden freddy x Springtrap ch.111 months ago in Personal More Like This
It was 12:00 am at Freddy Fazbears pizza and it was all silent, except for someone quietly crying. I Siting on the table in the backroom where no one would bother me. And that as for one reason, It was all for the same reason... It was cause I am a monster....
I unsheathed my claws and placed them gently on my wrist." This is my only way out..." I dragged my sharp, needle like claws across my wrist. Leaving mark, I watched as my freshly made cuts started to bleed redish black blood. " This is my only escape....."
Golden Freddy P.O.V
I woke up, still groggy from sleep. I lifted my head, scanning over the other animatronics. " Where was SpringTrap? " I silently questioned myself. I quietly got up, making sure not to wake anyone....... I failed. Foxy lifted his head which was currently on bonnie shoulder. " Why are you up Goldy? " Foxy said with a yawn.
I schemed my mind for a answer. I-I was j-just uhhh.... " I know already.."
DA Artist Star of the Day!I have said this many times, but I will say it again: I love Deviant Art. Sure, there is plenty of stuff on DA that is unappealing or even appalling to me, but that's true of every area of this planet. People are people. Still, at its core, it's a community of artists, so that's a place I want to hang out.. Most here are young, eager and wanting the chance to do that thing that every artists desires: make art for a living.DA Artist Star of the Day!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I have been blessed in my career and some of that blessing has spread to my little corner of DA by having over 15,000 Deviant Watchers. There are plenty here that have more than that, but I like the ones I have. So, I've come up with an idea to spread that love and hopefully get you 15, 000 to get to know some of your fellow DA followers. For the next couple weeks I am going to spotlight a Deviant Art Artist of the Day!
Here's the way it will work: If you want to spotlighted in my next DA

flee, but there is no fire
escape, no guide to the
exit of my head, and they
consider digging a hole
there, i feel it, maybe a
crack just wide enough
to crawl through, drop a
rope through the back
of my neck and climb
down, prise open the
earth - a tremble turns
into an avalanche, and
a snowflake in the flurry
wonders am i the same as
all the rest? he coughs and
splutters and chokes on
it - i wake in the early
morning, heart lodged
in my throat, that red
bird in that chimney, he's
going to starve there and
i'll be spitting feathers;
i won't claw the inside
of my neck again for
nobody, i'm past that,
pick me up by the
scruff and drop me
wherever you're going -
but wait, when lightning
strikes a tree, well isn't
that love? and when the
rain pelts the ground,
well what about then?
when you miss the ache
of wounds as they're
healing, is that it? well
when your nose bleeds,
that's still love right?
cos i've got an entire
pack to get through -
and what a funny
thing it is
