"Agh! I can't stop the descent!" he shouted, frustrated. At this rate, Ragnarok would crash into the Area Zero, wiping out the humans that had settled there as well as the Resistance...
"Zero!" Ciel's tiny voice came over the radio. "Reaching critical speed! If it goes any faster, I won't be able to get you back! Hurry!"
The red Reploid opened his mouth to reply to her, but it was then that he heard it.
"No... This isn't over yet!" Vile's voice echoed from a massive hole in the floor.
Zero leapt to his feet as an extremely battered Vile rose from the hold in Ragnarok.
"Hehehe... Bwahahaha!" the former human cackled insanely, a mad look in his red eyes. "I told you... I can't die! Nobody can stop Ragnarok now!"
Ciel's voice came on the radio again. "Z-Zero!" she scre

What happened, where am I? The sharp pain in the back of my head tells me I was knocked unconscious and now I can no longer remember why I'm here. Today the sun decides not to shine into this thick green jungle so I stumble and feel my way to an opening, where I see a river that's full of crows pecking on a charred body at the foot of a massive mountain. I know this place, Mt. Doi Inthanon in Thailand. I look up and see a hole in the side of the mountain where a man stands dressed in red, his hands smoking and a devilish grin on his face...Bison!
I try to gather energy for a Ki blast to throw at him but this throbbing headache wont let me and as a memory washes over me, I realize I did not come here alone. Someone has been trying to track or follow me but a snapped twig gives away their position and I head back to the forest only to see that it is my old friend Ryu. He's talking to me but I haven't heard anything except static in my ear
Rockman Classic: MurdererIt had been different before, he told himself. Cutman, Elecman, Gutsman, Bombman, Iceman, Fireman, Timeman, and Oilman. They had all been his brothers. All those countless Mechaniloids that had gone berserk, that scary yellow robot that kept shouting "Bumo!" and the bubble machine hadn't bothered him too much. They weren't Robot Masters, they had much less intelligence than the Robot Masters did. He didn't feel too bad about destroying them. Neither did he feel terrible about destroying the incomplete, non-sentient clones of his brothers. But Robot Masters...
He had never expected Wily to create a Robot Master himself, much less a clone of him. That didn't change anything. Sure, Copy Rockman (or Copy, Rock would mentally call him) hadn't been a 100% identical clone -- the frontmost mark was a triangle as oppo

Attention: To whom it may concern, as well as all Directors, External Directors, Auditors, and Corporate Officers at Capcom Co., Ltd.:
We, the fans of the Mega Man Legends franchise, have been waiting 11 years, 9 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days to the date that this petition was written, and more since then, for the release of the third entry in the franchise, Mega Man Legends 3.
Mega Man Legends 2 ended on a notable cliffhanger, requiring a full third release to tie up the loose ends it left. Since its release, there have been over 30 games released in the Mega Man franchise, with little done for the Legends franchise aside from appearances of characters in crossover fighter games such as Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, cameo appearances in games such as Dead Rising, and an extracanonical cell phone game that took place between Legends and Legends 2, Rockman DASH Great Five-Island Adventure, r

The bright, green and purple, colorful carnival attractions that had caused Vent and Aile to pester their mother to take them seemed more like a dream than anything else. Not with the red and orange hues of the fire, the thick gray smoke, and the ash-darkened hues of the Irregulars that were running around.
Aile clung tightly to her brother's hand as the pair of four-year-olds ran darted through the broken attractions and the smoke, coughing. The pair of children had been separated from their mother, and were now searching for her.
"Mom!" Vent would call every once in awhile.
"Mama! Where are you?!" Aile would cry.
Eventually, Vent stopped running, Aile panting beside him, as she brushed hair out of her eyes so that she could see. "Mama... where's mama...?" She choked out.
"Vent... Aile..." At the familiar voice, the two children started running in that direction, tiredness forgotten. What they saw made them freeze. Their mother was sitting there, appear
Nothing__MMZEverything you did was done in vain. But those are the very words you died to avoid, aren't they? You died to avoid the shame of knowing you were a failure, that all you had done was for nothing. And such a delay was worth your sacrifice? You nod yes, I shake no; you frown, I smile.

That's what the former leader of Neo Arcadia thought as he wandered Cyberspace. True, it may have been over 26,000 years since he had last had a physical body, but no one could deny that cyberspace was indeed a rather enjoyable experience. After all, he was with everyone: all of the Hunters, his Guardians, Zero, the Resistance, and such.
The only problem was that Cyberspace seemed to no longer have the passage to the real world, and it seemed to be completely cut off from it. X didn't understand what had happened; had Cyberspace simply run out of energy to allow passage into the real world?
He did want to go into the real world, again, however. Despite everyone protesting that since, it has been several thousand years, the real world won't be anything like it once was (after all, look how quickly it had changed in a few hundred years!), X couldn't help but desire to see the physical world again. A body also would be rather nice. He'd almost forgotten what it w

The freedom had come with a hefty price, of course, namely being his death and him entering Cyberspace, but he figured that after all that he had done, he deserved it.
"Why do you say that?"
Something about the voice that spoke to him sounded familiar, but Copy X waved it off. He had met lots of people, many of whom he had killed, and he couldn't attach names or faces to all of them. Even so, he felt he had to justify what he had apparently said out loud to the voice.
"Because everything that happened is my fault." Turning around, he looked at the owner of the voice, and... Was that his own face that he was staring into? No, it couldn't be. Aside from the physical differences, this person looked too holy, too ethereal, and much too pure to be himself in a mirror. Copy X, even though he had never met this person before, knew who this was. This was the original X, the true ruler of Neo Arcadia, the one whose dream he h

I'll take my anger out on the right-wingers first. I, generally, have a bias towards conservatives because much like libertarianism, conservatism views liberty to be more important than the flawed viewpoint of equality of results. However, there are still plenty of flaws that I have an issue with, and I intend to rip them a new one.
First of all, the Christian-right has to go. I have nothing against Christianity, being a Christian myself, but it has no place in politics. This whole ideology of regulating morality is absurd. I understand the concept of wanting to create a better world for everybody. I desire that for people, too, but regulating morality isn't the way to do it. I mean, nobody shares the same morals, so how could you possibly be right on what morals are for the common good? Simply put, you can't. It's just NOT possible. Just let me live my life the way I want to live, and I'll let you live the way you want to live. As long as we don't impede on each other's ri

I know, it has been a long time coming for me to write this rant. However, it should be worth the wait. I hope, anyway. There are so many things about (American) liberals that bother me. Some of their ideologies are just so disgusting that I cannot help but to overreact to them. I know I should not get so upset over someone else's ideologies, but the sheer audacity that (American) liberalism has gets me to that point, and there seems to be little I can do to stop it from getting to me.
First thing is first. The name that Democrats take for their ideology. They name it "liberalism", but they are anything but. This makes me angry because what political philosophy I identify with is much closer to true liberalism than the Democrat Party would ever hope to be. For them to be true liberals, American liberals need to not only promote social liberalism (which they do), but also support economic liberalism, and that is something American liberals have never been good at. In fact, they seem qui

Chapter 7: Day One, The Beginning
Sapphire gasped for a new sensation that she had never experience nor any merfolks had before. She breathed in and out with what the land-walkers called "oxygen". The once-merhog took a few breathes of oxygen in her lungs, sucking every fresh air within her body. She closed her eyes and relaxed in this new sensation. Her dolphin and crab friend helped her to get on the shore to get a rest. Sapphire sat for a moment, and tried to move her tail.
Only, there was no tail, just her feet. Sapphire gasped at the sight, she had a pair of feet! Now she could walk like other Coizards do! She thought with glee, while Sand was worrying about the situation.
"What should we do? What should we do? The King will be furious if he finds out. That's it! I'm going back to Atlantis and ask the king to destroy your contract with the sea witch!!" Before the crab sunk into the water, Sapphire scoped him

Warning: HUGE heartbreaking.
The next morning, it was another new day at Cosium, but a deadline to a specific merhog. Sapphire stared out of the window, gazing sadly upon the ocean where her home was. All Sapphire could think about was Kaze, his kindness, his smile, and his gentleness. But most of all, it was his loniness that got her attention. She found out that she and the prince had a lot in common; they both felt trapped, hunger for freedom. She knew deep down that the two of them had a connection, it had been there since their first time "spoke" to each other.
She knew her time had come, she only had time until today's sunset, might as well told Kaze her feeling before she went back to the ocean. As much as she hated good-bye, she had to do it; she had made the deal, she must paid the price.
Sapphire swept her dress straight and looked herself into the mirror, making sure it was flawle

Sapphire, now a merhog, was chained against the wall. Shackles wrapped around her wrists and were hung high. Her tail was place on a large bowl of water, to keep her tail moisturized. One good thing about being a merhog was that she had lungs besides gills. But despite that, she felt a bit dizzy from the lack of oxygen in this room.
The merhog hasn't spoken a word but sobbing while being dragged to the dungeon. Her heart winced every time she recalled the horror look on Kaze's face. Her breathing ragged, yet she tried her best to focus.
Then, she heard her cell door clicked.
She snapped her head upward and saw the least person she wanted to see in the world, Rakar. She'd shouted at him with her best insults, but her voice was still lost, so that would be out of the question. The merhog remained

Meanwhile at the Cosium Castle, Kaze was still under the care of the royal physicians, who the hedgehog was ready to blast them off if they kept stuffing those foul tasted medicine into his mouth. Darren visited him the most, of course, but he always asked him the same questions about the event that night.
