Back in the office, Pam arrives at reception as everyone else files in. Jim comes up to her and hands her something.
PAM: Whats this?
JIM (with restrained excitement): This is the prototype for your modified chopsticks.
PAM (looks at them and laughs): Oh no
Cut to talking head of Jim
JIM: I just grabbed some stuff from the restaurant as we were leaving, and, uh, put these together (he holds up chopsticks that have toothpicks taped the ends). Id probably say it took about 2 minutes to conceive and execute that plan which alone is more than Michael and Dwight have jointly accomplished all day (looks thoughtfully at the camera).
Cut back to Jim and Pam
PAM: Oh, this is too much
JIM (smiles): No, no its not.
Jim walks over to Michaels office and Pam watche
angel of despairHe sat there. Unmoving. Unknowing. He sat there only breathing and twitching. The symptoms from giving up his medication were taking control of his slender body. This man- this creature of destruction, only wanted to be anywhere but in the empty classroom with his back against the wall. He slumped to the floor with a sigh and proceeded to stare into the nothingness that drowned his visions. His body involuntarily convulsed to the rhythmic disease flowing through his veins. As I sat down about a foot from him, I could do nothing but stare as his eyes glazed over the protective mask he bore every day. His facial expressions never gave him away. But it was his clenched fist at his side that fascinated me. I was intoxicated. Inebriated from his very presence. I dared to move closer to this horribly beautiful statue. He sat; never stirring. My heartbeat danced upon my chest as my shoulder brushed his arm. In the Dark, I Am PrettyCould it be that because you cannot see my face that you find me beautiful? In the Dark, I Am Pretty3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I can only imagine how it is to live life in darkness
To not be able to observe the world as anything more than shadows
[What is it like to be blind?]
I should tell you now that I am many things, but not perfectnot beautiful
[So, why do you persist in calling me so?]
I think it is because you are perceptive in ways I can never be
Unlike me, you are beautiful in the light and the dark
You see what most are blinded to
The inner loveliness that others somehow overlook
You say the best way for me to see a person is to close my eyes
[Will shutting my eyes really change my perspective?]
I wonder, why can't all of us be like you?
Why is it that we identify a person only by how they appear?
The outside is what one sees, but it is the inside that truly means something
In a literal sense, beauty eventually fades
At least, outward beauty
But you told me the beauty that you have come to noticethe beauty that yo

Eyes start to flicker
Look at me. I'm a mess
But you couldn't care less
I gave in to my desire
You - to the need to acquire
You got me addicted
Look how much pain you've inflicted
I feel I'm in a daze
Now I'm lost in this purple haze
You spread the white dust
With which you earned my trust
You want me to accept your proposal
And trick me with the drugs in your disposal
My cries for help you ignore
And still you ask
Do you want some more?

Would one's desires render all ecstacy
Could constant bliss be pure satisfaction
Would having only ends lead to action
If one person's wishes always came true
Would peoples evil finally be through
Would that person wish for everyones wish
Would everyones wishes just contradict
Ends without means are just meaningless
Means without ends leave us seaking less
I choose the middle for what seems the best
Ends which are means that lead to the ending

Knowing no distinction of goals imposed

we hang stars
letting them dangle
above city traffic
if we drop one
which is often true
well hear nothing
hitting a tile floor
and usually in nothing
there are kisses
maybe a wish
made on some ancient light

the smell of pine mixing with
the paint on our fingers
a dripping of gold
I had splattered across the sky
to hide in the corners of the earth
and even above the street lights
our lives hang on tiny threads
in the fabric of the sky
and yet the cars drive fast

about the little girl living in my mirror,
between the pressed panes of glass,
shimmering in the refracted light.
i told him, she looks a bit like me.
but when she opens her mouth,
she just laughs,
and her pretty brown eyes are far
i don't think that it is good for her
she cannot drink the sky.
but the only song she knows
is twinkle twinkle little star
she cannot sing loud enough to save the world.
she heard the french say
that friendship is love without wings
but she doesn't understand,
and she will spend the rest of her life
for moments full of you.
i told her not to believe in me,
and she said,
"will i fall?"
that to forget is the sweetest joy one cannot remember,
but she got lost in her butterfly wings
and decided not to come out.

and in her hair.

and the little girl smiles
because she likes the lullaby.

The calendars a liar.
Numbers cant be trusted.
Hang twelve sheets to guarantee days promised to no one;
Time suspended on a wall.
Ever since I learned to count,
Numbers have made my world so small.
Imposing limits, statistic marks;
Years seventeen, eighteen, twenty.
I defied the first two, here comes the third;
Outlasting lies heard far too plenty.
Lain on white sheets of 216,
Pulse fighting thirty-eight.
Shaking an eighty over fifty,
Whitecoats cluster round my fate.
LCD screen reading numbers obscene.
Prophylactic air whispers truths unclean,
No, we cannot deny;
She wont make seventeen.
In a different room, still not my home,
A cold tile floor was a calendar slate.
Sterile mind staring through a ceiling stark white
Hearing truths of a number, and ending, a date.
Nineteen holds the purest; all that is good,
Like, ones last chance at breathing alive.
And twenty? the demon, stealer and end--

the surgeons caught you in the nick of time
just seconds, it seems, is all it takes
all the time I spent cursing, doubting you would live
I was more afraid than you, I think
when death is at the door and God is gently knocking
you can't help but just let go
when it's time
I saw you do just that and the peace on your face and the pain, all gone
I wondered what it was you saw with your eyes
for surely it was not the same thing I was seeing
not death, but life, at death you saw life
and now you're here with me
God needs you on earth for something more it seems
and I'm happier than I've ever been
when you wake up, Darling, my sweet, I'll be ready to hear
you tell the best stories, you live them and breathe them
it's why I love you, that, your smile, your laugh, your eyes
lost without you I'd be
your scars mark the moment I came to realize
that without you I'd be

"As I'll ever be, Agent Gibbs," I smiled. He looked over at me and slapped the back of my head as the doors opened.
"Boss?" A guy with coffee cup asked.
"It's nothing, DiNozzo," Uncle said. I stumbled out of the elevator, playing up the 'injury.' "Suck it up, Bren," Uncle laughed. He always called me Bren. The man holding the coffee cup held his hand out to me.
"Anthony DiNozzo, beautiful,"
"Demetria Gibbs," I shook his hand, taking care to put pressure on his hand. He grimaced.
"This is my niece, guys, and Ziva," Uncle laughed again. He always laughed a lot when I was around. Ziva cocked her head a little, then shook it.
"Ziva David, pleasure to meet you," Her grip was firm. I liked her already.
"Nice to meet you too, Ziva, you can call me Bren," I let very few call me by my Uncle's nickname.

and I gently float down the river, life,
walking slowly and deliberately, without eye contact,
Somewhere deep within my tepid heart,
skips a sad stone, on a lake of restless night.
There is a longing in my chest, ignored,
which fills my head with leaky blood.
Someday the world that brought forth a boy,
will receive me back, unscarred, unexplored.
These eyes that watch the flowers bloom in Spring,
will never know the sweetness of the rose.

Opening it, you found a small amethyst necklace and a card that read 'Happy birthday ~~~~, love you' "oh, yeah it's my birthday, --/--/2011" "Well that's Vanitas for ya, showing kindness in the strangest of ways" Terra thought aloud.

used to tell myself she was too hot for me
But then I saw her at the corner store
so I ran on over just to grab the door
I was on my way home from school with Sora, and as I turned the corner, I saw the girl i've been crushin on for a few years now. Her name was Nio, she was my best friend Terra's niece. She has (h/c) hair, and (e/c) eyes. To me she was perfect, she was great at everything, sports, cooking, school, and she was hot too. When i saw her, she was heading towards the ice-cream shop, so i told Sora i'd see him later. I ran over to get the door "Oh! thanks, Roxas was it?" she asked, "actually, it's ven. i'm his twin." I deadpanned. "Gomen! Well to make it up to you, how 'bout we split a sea-salt sundae! my treat~" she chimed 'she's so cute. gah! damnit, ven not now!' i thought. "I-It's okay you dont have to! i'll pay!" I blurted "well, Roxas told me you left your wallet at home. so I don't know how you'll pay.." she explained.

"No way in hell! am I wearing that!" he complained at the full outfit, complete with thigh highs, heels, and a choker. "well you have to~ you promised you would." you begged planting yourself onto his leg. "I'll do it if you promise not to tell anyone..." "Okay~" you sang.

There's a will, and there's a way.
If there's darkness, and there's light,
Our hearts will bond forever tight.
If there's hate, and there's love,
Our souls will glisten, with light from above.
If there's a moon, and a sun,
Under the stars, we would have so much fun...
And like I said...
If there's darkness, and there's light,
Our hearts will bond forever tight.
