I turned off the TV and looked out the window, seeing one or two streaks of light. I didn't have anything planned for the night, so I figured it couldn't hurt to have some meditation time outside. I was already feeling far too stressed with all the crap that had been going on in my social group lately.
My Dracano series had been met with much public disdain, even though half the people that read it thought it was great, the other half detested it, claiming I had stolen ideas and plot points, and quite frankly, after looking at their evidence, I couldn't argue with them, it was almost word

I sat, typing away at my computer, as usual; reviewing another short story I copied off Deviant Art. People really seemed to like my opinion on that site. I yawned, it was around 1 AM, I usually stay up until 3, a side effect of chronic insomnia, but tonight I felt lethargic for some reason. So, I pushed away from the story I was reading, another dragon TF, my favorite kind, and also a very common variant, at least I wasn't stuck reading another TG, those things creeped me out sometimes, but once I start reading something, even if it sickens me, I've made a commitment, I always read to the end, even if it's the worst thing since Two Girls One Cup. I still facepalmed whenever I thought about that, I watched the whole damned thing. Why? Because I was bet five dollars that I couldn't, I won the bet, but at the cost of a little piece of my sanity.
I lumbered out to the kitchen, and that's when I saw it, as I was putting a cup of cold co

I woke up in the blackness of space. This dream was a rerun, I had seen it before. I was falling through the atmosphere, crashing to Earth. But just as I was flying past my human self, about to hit the ground, everything froze. I head footsteps and struggled to look in their direction. Then I saw him, the dragon. He idly strutted over to my human self and examined his frozen face, mumbling "Hmm not quite what I imagined."
He turned around and looked up at me, smiling, and I drifted to the ground. I was once again trapped in a crystalline body in this dream, and I was unable to struggle as he gently picked me up and examined me. He grinned and nodded, then spoke to me "I suspected it before. Sorry about being so mysterious, I hadn't heard about the trial. Don't worry, I'm sure Ethan will get you out of this mess, he's very passionate for a human "
He tossed me in the air a couple times, lifting to two legs and walking o

My Dad leaned against the sink and motioned for me to sit down on the side of the tub, so I did, my wings and tail taking up most of it. Once I was seated, he began "I never really thought something like this was possible, so I never planned for it, but it's happening nonetheless. I read that book you wrote, and in it you took off and hid in a cave for two weeks, before hanging out with dragons for half a year. I need to know that you know that you won't need to do that in real life, your Mother and I will be here for you, you don't need to worry, you're still our son, no matter what happens."
I just looked at the floor, at my bare feet, which I knew were going to be clawed and three-toed before too long, and replied "Thanks, I was worried you'd start freaking out, like mom when she tossed that crystal out."
"About that, are you really that dependant? Can you die from it?"
"I don't know, but it felt like I was

I woke up in a strange place, I was drifting through space, I had no material body, I was just a drifting consciousness, all around me were hundreds of thousands of others, every creature imaginable, just hovering about. I looked down and I saw a large blue sphere, approaching faster and faster and faster. I then realized it was not it apporaching me, but me aporaching it. I kept gaining speed and just as I thought I couldn't go any faster, fire began forming around me, and it kept getting hotter and hotter. I was plunging into an atmosphere of a strange world. I couldn't take the heat, it was unbearable, I just wanted it to end. In front of me, I saw the ground approaching. I soared over the landscape blindingly fast, and the instant before I hit, I locked eyes with a strange alien, staring at me just before I went sailing into a cluster of trees.
I woke up in a sweat, the room was spinning, and I felt sick, like I

I started heading off into the woods behind the house, just so I could process and figure out what I was going to do with my now permanently ruined life. Sure, I had the body I always wanted, but it wasn't the body the world wanted me to have. In the entire history of mankind, you either conform or die, so being what I was now, simply wasn't going to turn out well.
I easily hopped over the fence, finding my wings were quite effective at grabbing the air. After about three minutes of walking, I was in a clearing at the top of a hill, my favorite spot in James's woods, I loved going back there to enjoy nature.
With a deep breath, my sinuses finally cleared from the blockage they had had since my change, and with a flame-filled sneeze, I could finally smell easily again, and it was wonderful. Everything was just so fragrant, I was catching hints of a patch of wild flowers that was at least a hundred feet away, I could smell

I woke up around noon on Monday, Kinda glad I had graduated last year, so I wouldn't have to attend school like this. I lumbered to the bathroom, half asleep. One, I had to go to the bathroom, two, there was a mirror in there. I felt different, parts of me were numb, and my vision was cloudy, so I figured I'd just look at what had happened all at once.
I went to the bathroom; thankfully everything was still the same in that region. And once my vision had cleared up a little, I took off my shirt and looked in the mirror. I can't really say I wasn't expecting what I saw, but it still surprised me a little, the scales had marched their way all the way up to the side of my neck, and were starting to work their way across my chest, and my right hand, though it still had five fingers, was clearly a talon at this point.
I didn't bother putting my shirt back on, I just hurried back to my room and took a few more pictures, for th

I was led through a series of corridors, a shotgun held to my back, and a Kevlar clad soldier in front of me with another, the doctor at my side. After some distance of walking past other soldiers, scientists, doctors, and technicians, we passed another anthro, like me.
The gryphon and I locked eyes, and I saw a glint of fear just before they looked back down at the floor, continuing to shuffle along in their many chains and restraints. I sighed and looked down at my own scaled body "Doctor, I have to ask, what became of the fox that came in just before me? can I see her?"
"That's quite impossible, she's been sent to section three, I don't have authorization for there, You're not likely to see her again."
"What's section three?"
"I don't know, I just know I'm not allowed, ah, and here we are."

A buzzer sounded, and I rolled over to see the sliding panel on the door opening, taking the tray with the remaining rats away. Before it had a chance to close, I jumped at it, and thrust my arm through. "I demand to speak with the General! You have no right to be keeping us like this! Even the Geneva Convention requires supplying cooked food!"
My protest was only met by a surge from the shock collar I had forgotten I was wearing. I convulsed, as did Loku, and as soon as my hand retreated from the opening, it slammed shut. Loku shakily got to his feet "Dude, what the hell?"
"Sorry, that was my fault, I was trying to demand to see the General."
"Fucking classic, we ask to talk to the man in charge, and get shocked...I actually forgot I was wearing this thing."
"Yeah, me too."
A moment later, the door started opening. I got to my feet as quickly as I could, and kept my distance. To my overwhelming relief, I

I kept flying along, trying to think of a plan now that I was out of there, but I just couldn't think of anything that didn't end in me being gunned down. The pack started sputtering, so I began flapping my wings, taking up the slack. My flight speed dropped considerably, but I was still able to remain airborne under my own power.
I thought Tennessee looked scenic before, but the view from up in the sky where I was, and with the pack now only a mild hiss instead of a loud roar, was like something off a postcard. I quickly started looking around for a populated area, and saw a shopping center where something seemed to be taking place, judging by the lights and huge crowd of people. That seemed like my best bet, so I started flying over to it.
As I neared, I noticed several vans. To my great joy, they were news vans, to my great dismay, I saw crime scene tape and blood puddles. I started hovering closer and closer until I heard so

"Ma, I have to do this." I replied, trying to make my point clear, "Those dragons need help and he can't do it on his own."
"It's not your problem." she shot back, "You don't have any part in how they run their lives. And you're still recovering from your injuries. You could go out there and hurt yourself even more."
"I'm well enough to finish this job." I said, my voice was a bit deeper and more authoritative than normal, "I can't let my actions back there affect those people. They need to get out before things get worse for them."
"Ethan, think about what you are doing." Mom told me, pointing a finger at me, "You are charging off in the middle of the night on some suicidal mission to save a bunch of dragons that tried to kill you."
"If they can be convinced to leave," I responded to her, "then they'll be grateful to me. All I really care about is that no harm comes to them."

The College Drag, Part 5I got up Friday morning to a funny sight. Nestled right between my tail and my right leg was Mini Me. That paranoid cat hasnt gone near me since I became a dragon. He would run off every time I would walk in the same room as him. And now here he was, fast asleep right in the same uncomfortable spot he used sleep in. I couldnt move as long as he was there. I tried to fidget out around him, trying very hard not to wake him up. I didnt succeed though, his little gold eyes opened up and he stretched his arms out. He even yawned as he began to look around the room he was in. When he caught sight of me staring at him, his face said it all. From behind me I heard a voice replying to him "You say that now, but I still think ten thousand of these in the wrong hands could spell the end for a whole planet."
"Not our problem, we're just doing our jobs."
"You mean to tell me it doesn't frighten you? These are people's lives we're toying with, you know about 90% of this order is likely going to be used on unwilling slaves."
"Actually, from what I heard, our company is actually only filling a small piece of a bigger order, somewhere in the number of one million."
"Good lord, who would have need of that many of these blasted things?"

When faced with a difficult situation, the best solution is to take it head on. Drive out the opposition from their hidden positions and deal with them. Any other method can result in unfinished work and that can have dire consequences if you are not really careful.
Well, my summer vacation went pretty well. I mostly played video games, went to movies and played as much airsoft as I could. I really improved my game over the summer and my M16, the Buzzsaw, got even better parts. She went from stock to rock your face off over one summer, but I still had a ways to go before I consider her done. Operation Storming the Farm was the highlight of my summer. The Gladiators won it and we showed the Skulls what we were made of. They taunted us on the forums, they were so sure that they would beat us. After a brief recess in which Loku was able to finish his cigarette, we resumed. The Judge looked down at Loku and asked in what I guess passes for a kind tone "Do you feel like you can continue with your testimony at this time?"

The prosecuting attorney readied some papers I guess he was lining up for his next volley of attacks, and said coldly "You were being taken from your home by the army."

I hit the floor just as David started filming. Everyone would see this, and this was the last step, I had to save face, no matter how bad it hurt, I had to maintain composure, I couldn't let myself break down.
The changes started on my feet first and progressed rapidly. My shins shortened as my feet grew longer. My four smaller toes on each foot fused into two larger toes, making a total of three on each foot as the toenails on the remaining, larger ones, grew longer and sharper, mutating into claws, as a dewclaw, or talon, whichever you prefer to call it, pushed out of my heel. In mere seconds, scales met one another, and now the only part of my body still human was my head.
Moments later, my head began changing, hair fell out in clumps to the floor as scales started sprouting and my teeth fell out. I spit them to the floor, along with much blood, as my nose started bleeding just before my vision went black. Though I cou

With me being turned into a bipedal, red and yellow dragon, this airsoft OP was getting a little more complicated then I would have liked. But with help from Sam and my friends, I managed to get back on my feet. Now on the rest of the story.
Sam, you almost ready? I asked.
Almost, she yelled back from the other side of our little camp site, I just need to load the last few mags.
Well, Im heading to the bonfire. I think John is about to announce the next game.
Sure, Ill be with you in minute.

I woke up, it was morning, I had slept deeply all night. Metallica was playing through the computer, so I clicked the pause button. I just then realized it, how much the change had progressed. In my mouth, I felt hard objects, like jawbreakers, but lumpy. I spit them out into the trash can. They were teeth. I felt my current teeth with my tongue, just now realizing my tongue had become forked.
My teeth were now bestial in shape, sharp incisors, massive canines, and bicuspids like saw blades. I turned on the webcam, and looked at my face, it was now covered in scales, and much longer. It looked a lot like a velociraptor.
I took off my shirt, my whole torso was now scaled, as well as the majority of my left arm. On my right arm, the pinky had partially fused with the ring finger, and on my back, the two protrusions were now much larger, and starting to take on a shape like two huge hands with really long fingers.

I was led through countless corridors, and each offshoot we passed, the group grew smaller, Yevonna, Loku, and I forming a tight group so we wouldn't get seperated.
We finally came to a dead end with four steel doors, and there were eight of us left. We were led in, two to a cell, but I was stopped by a gaurd "Hey, Sarge, what should we do with the little one?"
A sergeant walked over and examined Tealwing "Take it over with the other young ones."
I placed my hand on Tealwing's head "No, you can't, he has to stay with me."
"And remind me when I asked an alien's opinion."
The soldier started prying Tealwing off my back, who started squealing and howling, not letting go. After nearly thirty seconds, something came over me. I whipped around and grabbed the soldier's wrist tightly, twisting it around before grabbing his throat, holding my claw over his corroted artery, and spoke in a voi
The College Drag, Part 12The next game was on Frontier and I was determined to make this one a good one. Since the teams looked about even, we just kept them. We started at the Chapel. It was a vampire game and it was going to be a memorable one. We bolted for the best spots, this was a fly by the seat of your pants game. No plan, just go with it. Pat and Zack found each other first at the center building and Zack bought a half mag to the gut. When I saw him go down from my position in an adjacent building, I returned fire and Pat ducked into better cover. My fight with Pat lasted for about two minutes before I accidentally let my wing stick out too much and he raked it. I got a line of welts on my wing membrane and it hurt a lot. The College Drag, Part 10Okay, the ref began, Since we have new people, I want to go over the rules. Rule number one, this is an honor sport, call your own hits. One hit and youre out. Anywhere on your gear or body is a hit. This includes wings and tails for all you dragons. I never thought I would say that, but now I guess I do. If it hits your weapon, its out. If you have a pistol, you can use that. Rule number two, there is a twenty foot safety kill range. If you get too close, call safety kill and it counts as a hit. If your weapon shoots over four eighty fps, then it has a forty foot safety kill range. This is a sniper rule. Rule number three, be polite. This is not the place for to go shooting your mouth off. You cause too many problems, you will be asked to leave and you will not get your money back. Youre all here to have fun, so lets all act like people and not douche bags. Now, lets re-shuffle the teams and get to playing some airsoft. The College Drag, Part 105 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
The College Drag, Part 20After I left the bank, it was a long flight to Johns house. It was fun to startle a group of Canadian geese; they didnt seem to know what to do about me when I flew up next to their formation. I just farted around with them till I got bored, mostly just banking around them and popping up in the middle of their triangle. After I had my fun, I began my descent once I felt I was close to my destination. That tin roof on a hill told me I was indeed on the right track. The College Drag, Part 11We got reloaded and it wasnt long before we were being called onto the field again. It was time for a speed ball game on the concrete and spool field. These are in rapid succession, you keep playing round after round till you run out of ammo or drop from exhaustion. The concrete tubes make for a field of chest high cover, well just over waist high for a dragon. The cable spool half of the field provides much better cover for dragons with the very tall utility cable spools and some low cover from fifty-five gallon drums. You can see the other team plain as day on the other side of the field, about three hundred feet away across all the obstacles. The ref did the shuffle this time. He just would point at a guy and tell him or her right side or left side. The College Drag, Part 4Wednesday morning was just another cookie cutter morning for me. Math and English were the usual. Getting saddled with a lot of assignments and get them done in a very short time span. Mr. Sexton was nice enough to let us off with only forty problems instead of the usual eighty. I would have to power through them at work, or at least try to. Miss Kowski told us to come up with a poem. I made one up on the spot. For the life of me, I cant remember what it was. She liked it a lot and took it as my assignment, so that was done before I even left the room. Less work for me equals more fun times. I had three hours to kill between class and work. I found myself just walking around the campus. I did go to get some food at Sonic down the road, but that only took up about forty-five minutes to an hour. I was so bored; I started to just fling rocks into the woods next to the Science Building. They wouldnt let people skip stone on the ponds, they said it was bad for them.
