Late Night Groceries -part 1-Charles was distressed. He had just come from the grocery store, carrying the results of a successful ingredients trip. There were the eggs, the flour, the meats, the spices, and all other needed items that he would use for a week long of breakfast-sandwich-filled mornings. But of all the most basic of components, he completely forgot to pick up milk. How else could he cook the biscuits? Resort to water? Bah, that would never do. He needed that milk, or this whole trip would have been for naught.Late Night Groceries -part 1-4 years ago in Short Stories

These thoughts and plans filled Charles' head as he made the return trip back to the grocery store; he had realized his error before he was halfway home, so he couldn't just shrug it off. His train of thought came back just in time to see that he was back at the super market's parking lot. A lone movement in the night caught his eye, the vague silhouette of someone walking toward the path he had just come from. The shape emerged into the light cast by one of the streetlamps: it was a long-hair
Gensokyo Divided - PrologueGeneral Reimu pounded her fist on the desk, shaking the cup of tea that sat on a nearby coaster. The dimly lit room was adorned with massive tapestries, portraying the well known yin-yang symbol; the emblem of the Hakurei militia. The wooden desk legs rattled against the hard reflective linoleum floor for a moment, the light from the moon giving it a gentle glow. Across from Reimu sat Yukari Yakumo, reclined on her signature 'boundary,' levitating a few inches off the ground. The both of them shared the Hakurei militia uniform, although Yukari had abandoned the militia's officer cap. Yukari simply shrugged her shoulders, unphased by Reimu's behavior. She always was like this when someone had failed to complete a mission.Gensokyo Divided - Prologue4 years ago in Fan Fiction

Marisa turned to face Rumia, who had just arrived.
"Report," Marisa said flatly, adjusting her hat.
"Well," Rumia began, "I managed to get some more info on the location of the main surveillance tower. See, I don't know why Yukari hasn't found us yet, but if she doesn't, the tower certainly will. I overheard some of Reimu's underlings talking about its location. I tracked them as far as the Kourin line, but I didn't want to risk going in any farther..."
"Excellent," Marisa replied, "I'll send out a scouting team to accompany you. Tewi! Alice! Wriggle!"
The three came out of their rooms, Tewi armed to the teeth with a surprising number of explosives.
"Dammit, Tewi, how many times have I told you not to go digging into our munitions!?" Marisa scolded, rubbing her forehead in mild frustration, "please tell me that they're not active..."
"Yup," Tewi said, "they're all active. Not a single one is incapa

I love you," she repeated, but in a deeper, velvety voice this time. There was silence again as she let it echo in her mind. After a few seconds, she groaned and buried her face in her arms, folded together on top of the desk at which she was sitting.
"It doesn't sound right," she complained aloud to no one in particular, even though there was no one there anyway.
"I think it sounds wonderful when you say it in that second voice," said Matt, standing right behind her. "I accept your feelings for me, my dear. Let us elope, post haste!"
Mattie sat up abruptly, a bright flush covering her face. Apparently someone was there.
"Not you, Matt!" she shouted, flustered. "This is for my story!"
Her long brown hair whirled as she turned to face him. She was still in her pajamas due to today being her day off. The two soft mountains of her large breasts swung with their owner, set
