Stormcry's Prophecy-Chapter 1
Stormcry's Phophecy --- Chapter 1
Wasp-paw knocked over her small opponent for the third time. Stormpaw was covered with sand and dust. She sneezed in an adorble high-pitched voice which made her best friend let out a hearty laugh. He walked over to her from the side of the training hollow. He was large, with a dark gray pelt. His face, legs, ears, and tail tip, the color of a raven.
Solemnpaw brushed up against her. Stormpaw felt her face get hot, and she looked downward in embarrassment as he pressed his nose against her pink one.
"Wasp-paw is older and bigger than you, its not your fault. Its your first time training." He whispered.
"I'm just not good enough. I can't run fast because of my legs. I'm too small. I have bad balance because I have no tail--"
Solemnpaw began laughing. "You're letting them get to you. We're all different, we all have problems to over come. Embrace your difference, and your enemies will be powerless."
Stormpaw nodded, and walked over to her mentor w

Stormcry's Prophecy --- Chapter 5
The smell of blood was so intense, Stormpaw wished that she had a tail to cover her small pink nose. Waspfur ran up ahead, her beautiful pelt rippling in the breeze of the moor. The second wave of cats was about to jump into the battle. Stormpaw braced herself, for she had never been in an actual battle. She could feel Bluemoon at her side, urging her to survive.
Waspfur's war scream traveled to the camp. When Stormpaw reached the entrance, a slain cat stared at her cocked eyed, its guts pelted across the dust. She turned her head just in time to see Solemnheart scratching out one cat's eye while a white she-cat jumped on his back and aimed her claws at his shoulders.
Stormpaw flung herself awkwardly on the white cat, pulling apart her ears. The she-cat lunged at Stormpaw, but missed her by an inchworm-length. Stormpaw kicked hard and blood spurted from the white cat's neck. Jumping backwards, the cat fled the camp.

Opalstar passed away a few days later. The clan fell silent for a leader most of them had for their whole lives. It was a grest surprise when Solemnheart was asked to take over as deputy. He was given an apprentice the moonrise before named Thymepaw.
Sunsteps walked over to Stormpaw before her journey to the moonstone.
"You are an amazing cat, Stormpaw. Don't let anyone make you think differently. Nothing that has happened is your fault." The ginger queen dipped her elegant head and touched Stormpaw's nose.
Her and Gustyfoot then turned and left the camp.
Gustyfoot ran into camp.
"Something's wrong." Stormpaw said as she awoke from her nightmare. A storm had clouded her dream and drowned her thoughts.
His sides were covered in blood and he was heaving.
Stormpaw jumped up and ran out of her nest. It was almost dawn, the moon still vibrant in the purple sky. It seemed so surreal...
Gurgling came from his lungs, as red l

Songweaver stepped out of her den. She blinked five times to take in the intensity of the sun. It was lovely out, and she purred when her mate rubbed against her side. She took in his smell, and felt the kits inside her stir. She looked at her belly longingly, and then looked back up.
Stormpaw was staring at her.
She let out a long and loud hissed that seemed to peirce the apprentice like a dagger. The small tail-less she-cat walked away with her head down.
Stormpaw wanted to be a mother one day. She wanted a mate that would love her. She could finally have a family...
She looked over at Solemnpaw. He would be her perfect mate. But suddenly more dread came as she noticed he was sharing tongues with Wasp-paw. They looked perfect together. A rock pulled her heart down.
Bluemoon padded over to Stormpaw. He looked grumpy as usually, like a thorn was pocking into his side.
"That's life," he said as he saw her staring at her best friend and

"NO!" A body slammed into Stormpaw's side. She let out a frantic yelp as a monster missed her by a tail-length. She looked up to see Bluemoon's angry eyes on her. His leg was pouring out blood and was bent awkwardly.
Stormpaw's eyes grew wide. She grabbed the tom's neck and attempted to pull him from the road. After much effort, she moved him off. He didn't move. His snarled jaw was now peacefully in a snore. Stormpaw knew he was dead, but she she didn't want to believe it. She shook her head from side to side and ran to get Solemnpaw.
He was with Wasp-paw, both apprentices were hunting with Sunsteps. They had just started, since there was no prey yet.
"Sunsteps!" Stormpaw squealed. She didn't know what to say she she let her mouth blurt out, "Bluemoon got hit by a monster and I think he's dead!"
She knew he was dead, and it was her fault, but she left that out. With Sunstep's horrified look and Wasp-paw's mocking glare, Stormpaw knew that they

Stormcry's Prophecy --- Prologue
The crackle of laughter from the clouds, that few above the head of the forest, was frightening. Creatures began to swarm to their nests, like wasps from a hive. Slick bodies, drenched with rain and sweat touched each other. It was like a literal stream of pests, running to an ocean of fear. Birds fell from the clouds with a thud, as water pulled them from the sky. The storm began to pelt heavily down on the animals, some swept away by the fierceness of the storm that was growing larger as Father Time grew older.
In one paticular nest, a wild cat meowed in almost brilliant pain. The moss that surrounded her swollen body was drenched in sticky, foul smelling blood. Another queen beside her, was helpless, for the storm took away all senses. All she knew was the queen was going to die, and the kits inside her were as well.
The screams of animals started to dull as the rain beat like an electric heart, slowing, but still powerful. The smell of death

Stormcry's Prophecy --- Chapter 6
'Stormcry is an awful name' she thought to herself. Waspfur couldn't help but laugh from the nursery as the clan chanted, a memory that Stormcry didn't like to remember.
Its been moons since the attack on Windclan. Stormcry trained harder and harder to prove to her clan that the deaths in her life are not her fault.
Splatkit yawned and stepped out of the nursey. Waspfur had just finished cleaning her only son. He was just as big as Stormcry, and only 6 moons old.
Stormcry never stopped thinking that Solemnstar might be the father. When Splatkit opened his eyes for the first time, they were different colors. One a light blue and the other a green. Solemnstar's were green.
'But a lot of cats have green eyes' Stormcry thought. Waspfur refused to tell who her son's father was. 'If it was the leader, you'd think she'd announce it.'
Stormcry watched as Splatkit walked over to Solemnstar to be given a mentor. She looked around and saw Thorntwist and Th
