"LET'S GO! LET'S GO! LET'S GO!" Dick hollered with urgency, catching Wally passing him in the corner of his eye and Roy as he came up on his left. They were jetting off with all their agility power up the tall staircase, nearly tripping as they hopped onto the second floor and continued their life dependent streak. Paintings and doors blurred past them on the walls as the wood and carpet did under their feet, the halls seemed to get longer and longer as they tried to break through them.
"LOOK OUT WALLY HE'S RIGHT TH-"
"Shut UP Harper! Keep going Wally! We're almost-"
"Open the door OPEN THE DOOR!" Wally squealed as he nearly toppled past said door. He tugged at it frantically. "IT'S LOCKED!"
"You have to PUSH it!" Dick ordered, falling in quickly after Wally and Roy and all but slamming the door behind him. He pressed his back against the wood as his chest heaved for oxygen, staring

Hey Ollie, look, Speedy said with his mouth full. He jiggled the tube of potato chips in his hand and pointed to the face on the canister, grinning. Its you.
Green Arrow scowled as he took in the Pringles logo. Shut up, you little asshole!
Shh! Batman scorned as he floated deeper into the immense pantry in the Wayne Manors massive kitchen. A stunning juxtaposition of granite and stainless steel. Robin dwindled behind, the reluctance showing raw in his knitted brow and subtle frown. He cast a glance over his shoulder, finding that the digital clock on the oven read 3:47 AM.
Well it is! It looks just like him, ha ha! Man, Dick, you really shouldve been there when West brought it to light a while back, Speedy chuckled, drumming his fingertips on the tube. Oooh, that was great.

Wally yawned hugely as he stirred, blinking his eyes slowly and smiling. Dang, Dick's bed sure was comfortable .wow, that sounded really heheheh.
He rolled over only to see Roy glaring right at him.
"Well, that's the face every man wants to wake up to every morning," Wally joked.
Roy's eyebrow twitched.
"What's wrong, snookems?"
"Nothing," Roy gritted through his teeth, "Just that I forgot that you talked in your sleep and it was seriously .you did not just call me 'snookems.'"
"Sorry, cloud butt--OW! The hitting is really--ow "
"A guy can only take so much queer-larity," Roy grumbled as he got out of bed.
"He got up and left a half hour ago to do something, I dunno."
" Did you sleep good?"
Roy paused in raking his fingers through his bed-head and eyed Wally from over his shoulder.
"Right, sorry, the violation of your manliness probably kept you up," Wally sighed, scooting to the end

Okay, so not that Im not havin fun or anything, but again. Why. Are. We. Doing this? Cyborg inquired into his headset. He slurped noisily at his ICEE as he watched his camera point-of-view from his computer screen. Ya know if youre caught that youre a dead man, right? Small green mouse ears flicked into sight every now and then.
Dude, Ive been wanting to pull this one off for like, a decade and a half now, Beastboys voice resounded into his ears, Its like nearly impossible to do it back at the tower! Dick wouldve caught on in two seconds flat.
Aaaand you think he wont now because ? Cyborg propped his chin up on his palm with his elbow on the desk, watching the screen with a bored expression.
Because of Roy and Wally.
Dont you get it dude? Theyre like, his man-BFFs, okay?

Humiliation. Utter and complete. At its finest even...how did he keep getting himself into these situations?
Yeah, hed been ecstatic when Roy called him and invited him up to the Wayne Mansion to hang out with him and Dick. And, if he remembered correctly, Roy had told him to haul his butt over by four or Dickll come find you. Yeah, he was excited until he realized the motive.
Wanted to hang out my ass, Wally thought as he pulled his sleeve and yanked his zipper up. More like wanted to torture me. He huffed as he gazed up the large stoop and began climbing it with disinclination. I was really hoping they forgot about that bet crap. He stood before the door and hesitantly rang the bell, adjusted his backpack over his shoulder. Here goes nothing. Or everything. Maybe just my dignity. Perhaps my manhood

So. Roy shoved his hands into his pockets and gazed across the vast, long hallway on the second floor. Many exquisite paintings and portraits where hung on the walls, and just below them were various vases and busts and other priceless relics for decoration purposes perched upon marble pedestals. Just waxed, huh?
Dick gave him a double-take and pouted. You know I hate it when you do that.
You hate it when I do a lot of things. But what?
You twist my words and make it sound all weird.
Or perverted, Wally supplied.
Dick huffed. Yeah. To answer your question, he just had the floors polished, his eyes flickered over to Roy, making him simper back much to his chagrin, Er, hence the shiny flawless exterior.
Dudes. Ya thinking what Im thinking?
I dont think about witches on a regular basis, Roy jeered.

Eleven year-old Robin pouted at the reprimand but did what he was told and stood more erect. He glanced up at his mentor, Batman, whose face adorned a careful but neutral mask. One that he wore often, Robin had quickly learned. He ripped his gaze away from the caped crusader and took in the immense control center of the Watchtower, an outer space-stationed headquarters for the Justice League.
He knew that he should not be here. Heck, it was evident that Batman was reluctant to let him tag along, but being that Alfred had too many things to do to keep what Batman would call a full-on monitored babysitting in check, here they were.
So...whats your meeting about? Robin asked hopefully. Is Gorilla Grod causing trouble in Africa again?
Im not sure. But its mandatory for me to be there, according to Superman, so Im sure its very important.

I sighed inwardly as I let the thought slip away, being in a sullen enough mood as it is. I slid off my headphones and let them settle around my neck, turning the music down to a fluttery beat as I looked around my room, here at Wayne Manor, where I would be residing for Christmas unless an emergency came up. The Titans insisted--Kori even insisted, and they actually succeeded in sending me away. Maybe I secretly wanted to be.
I don't know what it was about this room that kept me so sedated. At the moment I'm thinking it's the window seat I've been inhabiting most of the day, with its plush cushions and the thick blanket I found on it this morning. This used to be my room when I lived here, too, so perhaps that brought some

I slam my bedroom door hard behind me as I storm through the manor towards the batcave. For the first time in my life, i was actually getting some damn sleep when Father called through some hidden device in my room. He'd said to come down to the Batcave immediately, without any question. He didn't say it was a mission. He didn't say it was urgent. Just to get down there.
Even though these people are my family, they irritate me to no end. Father is commanding, Alfred is too non-chalant, and Grayson-where do I even start with Grayson? He's too easy-going, joking, laid-back, irresponsible, bossy-the list could go on and on. If it wasn't for being loyal to my father's way, I probably would have killed him by now.
I've gone soft.
I flip the hidden switch and wait for the entrance to be revealed to me, then storm down the stairs, scowling as my family comes into sight.

I was looking at the lastest report for Wayne Enterprises when I walked by Dick's room. What I'm seeing before me now does not surprise me, but I will not stand for it. Right now, they're breaking about 7. Not the best way to get on the father's good side.

As the blond-haired man opened the door; he was met with the sight of an extremely messy room. Jumbo bags of chips were scattered all over the room as Wally sat on the only neat thing his bed, casually typing on his laptop. "Wally could you please close that thing; we have to talk."

"Why the 'Oh no'?"
"Uncle Barry, I've had my fair share of bad talks and all of them have two things in common. They all started with,

The team of Young Justice, upon formation of their team, had always acquiesced to their mentors' general code of conduct. The most important day-to-day rule, which was the most tedious at the present moment, was waiting for debriefing.
The six teenagers sat on the large, green sectional couch together, completely and utterly bored out of their minds. Conner had lost the remote so the television remained stagnant and useless. Robin could hack the wireless contraption... if it were turned on.
Furthermore, the rain outside and the training rooms being cleaned prevented anything productive or even fun from being accomplished. So there they sat--or in Kid Flash's situation, lay-- collectively starring into space. Robin, with no better ideas for a distraction, inquired "anyone else think this is beyond stupid?"
There were scattered mumbles of agreement, followed by Artemis retorting, "you have any better ideas, Boy Blunder?"
