I like this one. I like the picture in general but I was playing around on Picnik --> [link] and suddenly! I loved the picture even more than I had before.
I just like how I could make it look warm and bright while still being covered in ice. Which is how it really was. All the colors were there they had just been frozen from the ice storm that had blown through.
How do guys think I did? With the composition of the photo and with the editing.
EDIT: In the opinion of the Sony DSLR Calender Contest the season is Autumn.
So I made a few sketches, and the one I came up with the pack is a fish-shaped mask. It's been hard to think of something out of it, but I made it a point that I wanted to make the lines very much seen, and not hidden in the artwork. So there goes the fish mask, very much appreciated infront! Yay! The grayish snow flake patterned background gives a light "feel" and mood on the final artwork, I think. And there's the coffee tear. Hee.
And of course, the girl, and the blush, and the thousand lashes.

no denying -- everyone dreams of flying every so often.
i was on a flight from Hong kong to Jakarta in january this year when i looked out of the window and saw this. the view was almost like a dream to me: it was a broad valley of clouds... with a lake of thin air and a beach of sunset rays. a dream land, if only you could fly up there.
but it was no reality -- that's why i put the plane's wing into the frame, to snap me back to earth.
everyone dreams of flying every so often -- but never let your dream possess you.
Resubmitted for this contest. It can't hurt, right?
It makes sense to me to use this photo because a lot of people tend to overlook small things and don't really understand that there are tiny worlds in the bigger one we live in, kind of like James experienced in the movie.
