It felt like nothingness; the body suspended in time and space. No feeling against the skin or sensations that would tell a human being, even a Nobody for that matter, that they were still among the living.

The terrible spinning sensation just wouldnt stop its relentless attack on the senses. There was a sickening scent that lingered in the air, bringing back strange and unusual fragments of memories from days so long past that the dreamer began to wonder if it was someone elses thoughts he was now recalling. Times that seemed so distant, when hed been stuck in bed as a little tiny child, not allowed to get up and leave the confines of his blankets for fear that going out into cold air would worsen his illness. Strange, forgotten memories of pains he had to bear. They lingered for just a moment then faded into a misty fog, only to be replaced by horrid nightmares about horrible little creatures and strange plastic objects that resembled bears.

Even though darkness reigned the World that Never Was, there still seemed to be a strange sort of shift in the temperature that normally shouldnt be possible in a sunless world. The only conclusion could be that Kingdom Hearts acted as both sun and moon, seasonal warmth during daylight hours and the chill of nighttime when the shadows grew powerful and swallowed all. It never got hot, just comfortable warmth; it never got cold, just comfortably brisk. Often times a Nobody would be perfectly content to crack open a window andleave it that way long into the night.

Brilliant beams of artificial sunlight filtered warm rays through the tall crystalline patchwork of glass the window of a somewhat small room filled with foliage and flowers. It was the only room in the castle, no, the only room in this world of darkness that seemed to glow with the brilliance of a normal spring day. The much needed warm sunlight gently reached out to all the plants while also illuminating the hunched over figure of a man kneeling before a small yellow rose bush.
His light cherry colored hair that usually fell free in layers was now pulled back into a loose tie at the base of his neck, freeing him from being hindered by flyaway strands while he worked intently on his small garden. The Archangel made its way towards the beach where Sora and Riku awaited them. Captain Ramius at the helm, steadily coordinated the ship to the destination. At the same time, the remaining mobile suits, including the battle weary gundams and their pilots, were brought aboard. Kira and Athrun worked their way down from the mobile suits.

The Appearance of Shadows
Makoto Shishio had summoned all the members of the Juppongatana to his side. Planning a massive takeover of Japan, he would establish himself as the new leader of the country if victorious. The remaining members of the Juppongatana and the soldiers who faithfully served under them rallied around the powerful man slayer. Amongst them were the dreaded Anji the Destroyer, Usui, and Sojiro the Tenken, the most highly skilled and deadliest assassin under Shishio. Also, alongside, fighting with the Juppongatana was the former leader of the Tokyo Oniwaban group, Aoshi Shinomori who hoped to regain the pride of his group by defeating Kenshin Himura in battle.
"Listen to me!" Hoji the Knowledge, Shishio's so called minister of propaganda, began. "The time has come for us to realize the dream of Lord Shishio! Lord Shishio will lead the way! Makoto Shishio was not making it easy for Kenshin, Sanosuke, Yahiko, and even Sojiro, who had been loyal to him since the day they met. Using his aerial advantage now, Shishio was able to predict ever move that Kenshin and his friends made.

"We have to somehow lure him into a trap." Kenshin replied.
"But if he continues to have the advantage from the air, we can't see the moves he'll make, but he's able to see everything we do." Yahiko uttered as he came into the open."
"Mr. Shishio!" Sojiro cried. "Please stop this!"
"And give up this great power I've achieved?" Shishio replied. "I don't think so! Make it easy for yourself, Sojiro! You and I have always been allies! Join me! Turn on the Battousai and his friends and we could get rid of them all so easily! Then, we can rule all of Japan with nobody to stop us!"

The three face off in an epic battle. This time, the shinobi was not about to hold back on anything. Deploying her most devastating techniques, Caesar planned to confine Riku and Sora to the point where they could no longer maneuver effectively. The high step pillars emerged from the ground. While some nearly touching the spiked walls, others barely lifted off the ground. Riku and Sora were caught in the rising tide of stone.

"Sora! Look out!" Riku cried. Sora hit the ground only to be lifted up by another pillar.

The Journey Home: KH Team Departs
The streets were now quiet in Traverse Town. In the period of time that they had been gone, The Dark Empire's hold on other worlds had weakened. The Universal Alliance, gaining favor from many inhabitants of different realms, gladly joined the ranks and fought off the Imperial horde. As a result, many of the refugees had already departed for their worlds again. Sora's former allies had also departed, returning to their homes to reconstruct their destroyed worlds. Only a few remained now.
Sora's wounds were treated, with the help of a senzu bean, but despite that, his soul was still filled with a great sorrow. Riku's body was placed in a preservation capsule to prevent deterioration. The capsule itself had a clear top and Sora could gaze at his friend's peaceful face. He only sat there, in the tent where Riku's body was placed. She rarely came out of her apartment room during the weekends, and she had become quite lethargic with her duties.
