Is it a rhythm? A song that is sung out sadly while we're happy all the same? Putting lyrics to such a sad event. A catchy tune to the origins of rock n' roll.
Or is it a feeling? Something to shorten the name 'melancholy.' An emotion that can simply be reasoned with by uttering the word blue. Our shoulders slouched and our heads hung low. Our steps slowed and our actions sluggish.
Or is it simply the sky and the ocean? Dragons and fishes swimming in both.
It could be anything, and it could be nothing all the same. It could be something as complex as an emotion or as simple as a colour, completely meaningless to the bigger picture of life.
Then again, what is anything in the big picture?

Einstein. My Hero.A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?"Einstein. My Hero.8 years ago in Historical More Like This
A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes sir, he certainly did," the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything; then God created evil. And, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil."
The student became quiet and did not answer the professor's hypothetical definition. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "May I ask you a question, professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The other students snickered at t
Earthworm Zim Chp. 18, part 2Pinkie Pie craned her neck as she tried looking over some of the others from behind the DJ table where she stood. Being Pinkie Pie, she was both annoyed by the fact that some were not partying and a bit concerned.Earthworm Zim Chp. 18, part 23 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The look on Zim's face made her concern rise even more.
Zim just sat there, his ruby eyes staring into space while his jaw was unhinged. He was stiff as a statue...looking so overwhelmed and lifeless.
Rita and Brian stood by the Tallest, both looking at them with desperate eyes, the expressions on their faces asking and pleading that what they had told their adopted alien child was completely false.
Purple sadly looked at the couple. With a guilty sigh, he nodded. That gesture was more than enough for Rita to gasp in horror.
Rocky gazed at Zim in utter worry. She hadn't seem him this way since the time he found out his mission on Earth was a fake. He looked s

After the party ended last night, Red and Purple wanted to drop Lol and Winn home. Red searched for Twilight to let her know that they would probably be spending the night with their girlfriends, but he couldn't find the violet-eyed pony anywhere. Instead, he informed Spike, whom promised to let Twilight know.
As soon as the Tallest returned the girls to their home in Quahog, Red thought he would just get a good night kiss and just sleep in the same bed as his beloved...
Red's smile grew bigger when Lol's eyes slowly opened and looked up and gazed into his red ones. "Hi," she said softly with a smile he adored.
"Hey," he greeted back. He reached over and pushed a curtain of brown away from her face. "How are you?"
"Really good," she said sweetly. "Last night was..." She felt her chee
Earthworm Zim Chp. 8, part 1Zim didn't dream the way normal people would dream, like an image of one's self being in some far-off, perfect place where it was what one desired. But, after all that had happened, he was dreaming of something far different...
He had flashes of colors forming in front of him.
The colors took the shape of people he knew. The Turtles and other non-human characters he met...were a bright flash of glowing blue.....Rita and Brian, they were a warm glowing yellow color...
The warmth was incredible, not like anything Zim had felt before.
The others he knew were a variety of colors: blue, purple, dark green, bright orange...
But when he thought of Rocky. She was all the colors, with her outline glowing a deep shining gold. And her image was the clearest, with the sharpest contrast and her features stood out the most. H

Unfortunately, he was too late as he saw Numbuh 3 happily eat her cereal along with Numbuh 5 and 2, who were having theirs with some toast. Numbuh 4 grumbled before he grabbed a bowl and sat himself at the table, grabbing the box as soon as Numbuh 2 was done with it.
"Hey, Numbuh 4, you remember that green kid Rocky brought into the organization a while ago?" Numbuh 2 asked.
Wally stiffened but did his best to pretend he was only slightly interested. "Yeah, why?"
"Doesn't he seem kind of...weird?"
"Well, duh!" Kuki chirped. "He has no ears and talks really funny!"
"Numbuh likes the new kid and all..." Abigail sighed. "But he really doesn't pass off as the normal kind, in my opinion..."
"Oh..." Wally tightened his grip on his spoon.

"We're getting out of here..." He hissed to her as he led her out the door of her office.
Winn said nothing, her hands quivering for fear of her life. Alejandro led themselves out the door leading toward the school parking lot. From another perspective, it would look like an adult being helped outside casually with a student, his hand behind her back. The gun jabbed a bit more at her backside for her to move further as they continued walking.

He was here beside her right now, utterly concerned and willing to show as much sympathy as she was willing to accept.
Mordecai gazed at her once more, the look of concern still on his face. "Can you talk now?" He asked gently.
Twilight sniffed a bit before she finally turned to look at him. "Hi..." She said finally, trying to put up a strong smile despite her shattered interior.
Mordecai managed to smile back. "Hey." His hand left her shoulder as he conti

"Who was it?"
A dim violet light sprang into being. Twilight Sparkle's horn barely illuminated the cramped, windowless room and the six ponies within. A world of dark purples and inky blacks sprung into being, colors distorted by the monochrome aura of the magical implement. Shadows pooled in the corners, lurking just beyond the reach of the unicorn's spell.
Rainbow Dash watched as Twilight glared at each of their friends in turn. None spoke. Silhouettes danced along the walls as the unicorn moved her head, causing the light to jerk and shift. Pinkie Pie huddled near the barred door, eyes wide and uncomprehending as she stared off into an uncertain distance. The baker twitched slightly, squeezing the bag of flour that she clutched so tightly to her chest. On the room's

Years ago, almost 5, Zim, an ex-invader from Planet Irk, was banish to Earth.
His mission's truth, to invade Earth, was thrown in his face. It was all a lie, nothing could compare to Zim's devistation and anger.
A year later, Tak returned to Earth, hoping to take Earth from Zim. Zim showed no signs of caring. This disturbed Tak, she expected a fight, for she was prepared. He didn't put out, he instead sat back and watched.
Tak, confused and for no reason, seemed concerned.
When asked, Zim told Tak about how the Tallests snapped at him, reveiling the fact that his mission was a lie. Tak wasn't exactly surprised, she already knew.
Tak forgot about HER mission, instead, without really knowing, she spent time with Zim, talking, causeing highway crashes. WITH ZIM!
She swore she hated him. Same for Zim, he was confused as always, alth

'Twas Hearth's Warming Eve
And under the moon
Not a pony was stirring
Not an owl, not a loon
Foals' stockings were hung
On the mantle with pride
In hopes that best pony
Soon there would arrive
They slept in their beds
All those dear little fillies
Dreaming cookies and cupcakes
And donuts with filling
When up on the rooftop
I heard something quite swoopy
As if AJ's sister
Were there loop-de-hooping
I arose from my bed
And donned my wool stockings
(For I couldn't be naked
If guests were a' knocking!)
I slunk down the stairs
And to my great surprise
Was greeted by coal dust
And a pair of blue eyes
"Shhh!" said the soot
Covered pony below me
"We don't want to wake
all these nice sleeping ponies!"
Her scaly companion
Showed expression quite vacant
But she thought I was sleeping
So I decided to fake it
As light as a pegasus
And as quiet as a mouse
I descended the stairs
To watch this guest in my house
She pulled out a bag
And I knew then for sure
She had snuck in to rob us
And leave us all p

It had been some years since she had faced the yautja's age-old enemies, they of long limbs, head, and tail; they of steely carapace and acid blood, those supremely alien creatures who provided any warrior such a delectable challenge, and those probes of Baku's had shown them that their cavern of pillars had seen quite recent activity from just such creatures. The trees were pathetic. Most of them were dead or dying without the care and nourishment they had been receiving for years before. They had even given up on bearing fruit. Only a dozen trees still provided bounty and they were tasteless shells of the gleaming jewels they had once been. Fed only by water and the suffocating smoke of industry, it was a miracle even these trees still stood. This land that had once been a farm of the most delicious apples for miles around had fallen into hard times, only to rise into a different kind of farming. The farming of steel and bronze.
