Cold reflected mountain bathed in the evening winter sun...
Finally a brand new shot. It was cold this night, and I almost couldn't feel the camera in my hands. I still had to disregard the cold as I was trying to take care of the composition and the symmetries. At the same time I was really enjoying the scenery and the experience.
Post pro: Very little. From the RAW file, 10% saturation, and about 15% extra contrast/light.

I had one of the best photo shoots of my life the night I shot this picture. I was alone, but it was a wicked fun night as I was exploring and shooting pictures of the otherworldly landscape. The weather, landscape and the atmosphere was truly inspiring. There is a little of lense distortion, but it does actually work for the picture here IMO. Long exposure, bracketed (2), blended in PS, usm.
Ever wondered how it looks like under the silhouette in a photo? Now here's your chance to take a look.
This is a single shot photo, no stiches from other photos. The light data from the near-black pixels on the lower half of the image has been carefully extracted and restored back to "normal" light conditions. Because the lower half was virtually black, this process is really exhausting the data information from the base, hence the slight noise and banding.
You can see a lighthouse there to the left of the halo in the sun.
Long exposure shot, with minimal postwork (Basically only slight light/contrast and slight crop, usm) I've submitted a couple of times from this area before, but this is a little different. This is an old lighthouse area, and in the past the buildings you see in the picture were used for accommodation by the men that were stationed there.
An afternoon at Sunda Kelapa Port.
The boy is one of so many kids at Sunda Kelapa.
A fisherman's kid.
Sea and Bay are his life. And after school they play at the port.
And go home in the afternoon.
It's just an afternoon story. Day by day.
