Oh my gosh, I am submitting something not digital ;)

Anyway, I did at home yesterday and partially during Uni today...*cough* Cheers to all professors ;]

I didn't want to disappear from DA completely, and as I have no time for digital pics - Uni hours (besides the fact I need to make notes) are still free! ;)

After I am done with the illustration job, I will start my freetime drawing project called Seven Deadly Sins, and this is a character sketch for Lust. I already changed my idea on how Lust should look like, but I decided to share it with you anyway.

Eventually I will just make her some sort of a Succubus. ;)
It will stay on my main page until I submit something digital at last(sick of staring at Xull Rae as a recent dev), then I will probably move it to the Scraps section, well whatever.

Techy info:
Couple of references used (from mags I borrowed); lots of pencils, white, gray, black, red crayon used, also 2 black markers.

PS. I tried to clean up the sketch, so pardon if some parts look weird or something ;D

PS2. I didn't chec matrue content, if you think I should, please tell me in the comments, so I will edit it :)

I hope you enjoy!

It's been a while since I last drew an angel, but this guy manifested while I was listening to my King Arthur soundtrack, and the temptation was too great to pass up.

So, another archangel; Raphael, the Healer. Or at least, I think that's what his title is. Once again, it all depends on what text you're reading.

I love coming up with new character designs, and Raphael has become one of my favorites.

Note (July 23, 2007): A very good friend of mine has just posted a narrative involving this character. It's short, engaging, and quite well-written. If you have any inkling toward fantasy fiction, please check it out and comment.
[link] Thanks! =D

Here is one of the drawings I am most proud of. Only infrequently do I manage to get the finished work to look exactly like the image in my mind--this is one of an even smaller group that actually turn out BETTER than the idea. Look, I don't often boast, but just looking at this picture makes me happy. =) And what's not to make a person happy? You've got a field of death, a thoroughly viscious-looking, determined man who can NOT be a good guy having just carved his way through an army, bleeding from a gut wound and various other slashes all over his body, and leaning heavily on a terribly-enchanted starfield sword. It's got everything! Oh, except, there are no chains, no women, and no chained women. Yeah, well, not everything I do is like that, y'know... ;)

This is actually the cover piece on a book of pen-and-ink illustrations I had printed up a couple years ago. It is called "Black Canvas I: Art from the Shadows." A lot of the ink drawings I'm posting here are in it, including some of the Hell's Angel series, the Enemy of Angels, and Lord Kalkin here.

I hope you enjoy this! See, Carole, "masculine power"! =D

My, but it's been a while. Still, feels good sometimes to return to your roots.

Sketch done today to stave off boredom. A bit crude, yes, but it was more for fun than anything.

Drawn from photohraph on Wildlife Explorer Card, Group 1, card # 192. No photographer cited.

There are never enough "7 deadly sins" images lying around *rolleyes* . Hey I didn't chose the theme (;

Anyway... I uploaded all of them in just one piece. Acrylic + chinese ink. Trying something VERY different from what I've done. I don't know, I'll keep on experimenting. Test and error. Test and error. Personally I quite like it. But anyway.

Sakura means Cherry blossom. In China, the cherry blossom is a symbol of feminine beauty. It also represents the feminine principle and love in the language of herbs. In Japan, cherry blossoms symbolize the transience of life because of their short blooming times...
