Chapter 1
The floor was soaked as I bolted through the night after my prey. It was cold and the puddles were quickly freezing with thin layers of ice. This held no problem for me but I knew the man I was chasing would probably not hold out much longer against the weather. I did really need to run after him, I could just fly with my dark tattered wings but I couldn't bear to look at them anymore. There he was, my prey, running into a dark alleyway, how foolish. I chuckled as I pulled the crossbow from my back. Yeah sure we had guns nowadays but I preferred the old fashioned methods.
I followed him deep into the alleyway caref

Soft as silk,
Peaceful
And calm;
You appear
Out of a dream.
You are not
Often found,
Yet as I hold you,
I can smell
The sweet scent
Of Spring
And sunny days,
I can see
The simple shape
Of white doves
Flying over meadows.
Your blooming
Announces the
Coming of May,
Of Spring
And fair weather.
Your simplicity
Makes you
A perfect flower.
You show me
That peace
Can live in such
A small body.
Untouched beauty
Unchanged shape,
Loved and admired,
A gift to the world.

Sky walked toward the gate of the cottage when he heard shouting. A white rabbit thrust open a window yelling for someone.
"Mary Ann! Where did she put that Mary Ann!"
The rabbit rushed out of the house wearing a tunic with a fluffy collar and a red heart and carrying a trumpet, ran past Sky.
"Excuse me," Sky yelled.
The rabbit stopped and turned. He furrowed his brow at him.
"Reginald! Why aren't you in the garden?!"
"Reginald? No I'm not "
"Never mind. Go in there and help Mary Ann find my gloves! I'm late!"
"Late for what?"
The rabbit grew impatient and blew his horn at hi

“And miss you win the championship battle.” Orion smiled. “I don’t think so.” Megatronus merely shrugged and crossed his arms.
“It’s no big deal.” He told Orion. Orion laughed and stepped closer to his mate, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“If you win this one, you will be the first gladiator to win four championship battles in a row. That is something to be proud of.”

"I'm not here to talk about my wings Lucifer and you know it," I replied staring back with equally piercing grey eyes. He smirked at me, knowing very well I am the only 'person' down here with the guts to call him Lucifer. "Well then, I'm here to commend you on your work," he explained with a seductive smile. I rolled my eyes at him, "You know boss, and I've told you before I'm not one for relationships in the work place," I stated bluntly. He laughed throwing his head back making his dark red hair fall into his eyes. It's not that I didn't find him attractive, he was tall, athletic build, long blood red hair

Unbeknownst the heroes, they were, somehow, all moving in a direction that would bring them together. It was as if fate had a grander plan for them all. The shadow of Mirrorvale was growing steadily, and soon the Mistress would have an army large enough and strong enough to take over the entire world.
Each hero, through different, seemingly unconnected occurrences, will discover something is connecting them, something that transcends the normal world of logic, something that wants to put an end to the Mistress. But the Mistress had a feeling, a very bad feeling. She knew Andrew was still alive, although it remaine

Every evening, at twilight, our six legs begin the trek along the paved path.
Cars fly by like hungry beasts racing only to stop at their kill, the light of fire ahead.
The cool breeze feels wonderful as it tickles its way through my ears and moist, red nose.
We are the royalty of our course, no others stepping foot upon it, my master and I.
As cars slice through our trail we pause momentarily, I leaning back upon muscular haunches.
Car calls fill the darkening sky, voices boom around us.
Once again, the beasts find their meal and it is our turn to move on.
In unison we push forward through the angry wind, my master and I.

In your arms is my favorite place
To stay.
Too bad you don't feel
The same way anymore
Now your arms turn stiff
When I am in them.
You're never around.
And when I Ask you
If you love me
You don't give an answer.
But somehow my feelings
Don't change.
I'm drowning in the what If's

Wishing you I could abhor
Dream weavers, Incubus
Stole your love away.
My heart was tangled in with yours, Enslaved.
Now I'm just a bloody mess
My obsession with you leaves me stained.

I whisked Freya off her feet quite literately when her classes were done by unleashing my mad tango skillz. When Brian and I were on the Prague leg of our Tour of Europe, we met a group of Argentinean students in a bar. I knew we were off to a flying start when two of the women approached us and said We have heard English men is hot lover. Please show hot love. Is that not a chat up line to rival all chat up lines? I almost want to use it myself. Anyway, during the weeks we were in Prague, there may or may not have been hot love, but there were certainly hot tango lessons. It i

Dancing On Into the Night...It was late by the fires of the gypsy camp, the elders were sitting by and telling the children the stories of times long gone in the history of the tribe, and of those who stand guard over the Romani people as they traveled. Sitting near them listening were a pair of figures, obscured slightly by the shadows letting them wrap the pair up in a blanket. This description was very close to the truth, as they were indeed a close pair, sworn to each other by word and deed and by the exchange of blood. They were more than family, more than companions, they were each other. This was the depths of their passions as the man held his lady with hisDancing On Into the Night...4 years ago in Fantasy More Like This

It disappeared from my face

On a warm summer's day
In the middle of June
The ocean is calm
As the sun says it's noon
The waves are peaceful
Licking the shore
And a salty breeze blows
As crying seagulls soar
Beneath the water's helmet
Life is abundant
With colors so beautiful
And not one redundant
Eating the seaweed
From the ocean's floor
A little gray manatee
Resides with many more
A breath is needed
So she rises to the surface
And takes a big gulp
Expanding lungs fulfilling their purpose
But suddenly the silence is broken!
A roaring motor is heard
A great boat whips into view
And the little gray manatee panics a silent word

The question loomed in the air before my body, as if a sword looming over someone almost conquered by their enemy. But your heart tells your lungs to stop breathing for just a minute because it will never ever be yours."
"Do you fear death?"
A question repeated deserves an answer. But instead, my trembling hands sat clenched on my lap, the blue ink like veins showing through the frail covering that might rip apart any second. "Do you kno

You may have seen me on television. You may have been witness to my disconcerting back cleavage and mystified by the seamless transition my legs make from my calves into my ankles.
