Taken at Green River Lake State Park in Kentucky. There is a short trail just off the road that runs parallel to part of the lake. It can be a rather dangerous one, as you could wind up sliding downhill through rocks and trees (and snakes!) straight into the lake if you’re careless. It’s a nice little trail though. I shot this photo when I looked back after walking for a little while.

Yes, spring is wonderful and I love the spring blooms, etc., but autumn is still my favorite season.

This picture looks digital but I assure you the only photoshopping I did to it was auto-tone and sharpening. It really just looked like this when I clicked the auto-tone adjustment. Made my moth drop open when that happened!

Was originally this. I've been tinkering with it for a while now, but I could never get it to look right because of the color noise my crappy camera added. Attempts to get rid of the noise left behind very noticeable scars. So I finally decided to see if it would look okay if I tried to make it look like it was painted. Tell me what you think.

A large buzzard enjoys riding the thermals generated by an autumn storm. Large buzzards like these are a common sight in this part of Kentucky.
