Scary doll settingThe door creaked open, breaking the terror-filled silence. A little girl stuck her head inside the dimly lit room. She walked across the hard, cold floor and lit a candle that cast eerie shadows on the walls. A flicker of movement caught her wide, fearful eyes. A doll of white porcelain, with crystal blue eyes, curly brown hair, dressed in a stiff pink dress, sat alone on an old, dusty chair. The girl walked closer to the doll, not daring to breathe. She stopped a few inches from the chair and blinked, terrified. The doll turned its head slowly. The painted lips curved into a sadistic smile as a perfect, white, porcelain hand reached out and doused the flame. Her blood-curdling scream echoed off the walls, then died.Scary doll setting11 years ago in Horror More Like This

How was it? I'll never really know. How much did I love you? You'll never really know.
I told you every night. Out of habit.
"I love you Josh. You mean so much to me."
I never once.
Lied about that.
I said it just in case you were to die the next day, you'd then know I loved you, and that you weren't alone.
Turns out you were never as happy as you seemed to be.
You hid everything. Just like I had.
I remember the time you broke your leg from skateboarding in the dark. I laughed so much I got hiccups. You got a pink cast when you broke your arm too. You got everyone to sign it in sharpies; I got you to sign it on my behalf.

I was introduced to A Very Potter Musical in June 2009, when my friend Emma posted a link to the first video on my Facebook wall, with the message, ""HAVE YOU SEEN IT YET??" I assumed that "it"a video featuring a guy dressed as Harry Potter singing about going back to Hogwartswas a short, silly skit. But he was soon joined by actors dressed as other characters, and there were more videos to watch after the first. My computer needed over five hours to load them all. Emma stayed online with me the whole time as I watched what was actually a full-length musical parody of the Harry Potter series. The plot mashed together scenes from all seven books, with plenty of pop culture references and jokes about the more ridiculous aspects of the series thrown in, but kept the themes of love and friendship that were so central to the books. The show was done so well, and wi

Amanda was a rather ordinary girl. She had shiny brown hair that reached down to her shoulders. She wore cute, square glasses, and a blue t-shirt and shorts. Her breasts were perky b-cups. She was sweet and friendly to whoever she met, especially her boyfriend Jon. Due to this, she was well-liked by most everyone as well. However, she always had a secret inflation fetish. The thought of having a colossal belly, filled with air aroused her, although she would never admit it to anyone, nor did she have any method of turning this fetish into anything beyond mere fantasy.
When she was walking home, she saw a garage sale at one of the nearby houses. She thought for a moment, before rashly walking up to the house. The pump was a mere 10 dollars, so she bought it. She claimed that it was for a busted tire. She then proceeded to run home.
She found herself back in her house. She silently slipped into her room, pump in her hand. She made su

The dad who was never home,
the mother, always drunk,
the hooligan brother,
the slut of a sister.
None of them are ever around anyway.
When I walk to school
I'm beat up by the other kids.
My teacher asks me about the bruises on my arms,
and I lie, like my older brother taught me too,
at least, when he still cared about me.
Now I'm all alone,
there's food in the fridge, sure,
there's games to play, as long as I'm fine playing alone,
but there's always something missing,
something the other kids at school have maybe?
When I'm old enough,
when I understand more,
that's when I realize
that I've always been alone.
The other kids at school don't care,
they just look the other way
and go about their day.
I don't mean a thing to them,
and them not a thing to me.
The family, I've already said,
was never around
so why should I think they give a shit?
I barely remembered them,
no, not a thing.
So that car that hit me,
it was really a blessing.
I brought it on myself,

Pleasing to the ear:

Its reverberation drifts to the chapel.
In itself a veneration -

I am this sweet song, I am a hymn.

I am a young parishioner
Flipping through the pages of her missalette.
Wondering about what the presider shall speak,
About who shall say Mass,
What he shall say...
I watch the procession down the aisle center,
The altar servers to the sacristy, the presider his chair.
The organ sounds, embracing my spirit and sings
To my heart attentive.
I am a deacon, assisting with the Mass. Vayan en paz para servir a Dios.
I am the priest, celebrant, presider, watching over my flock.
I sit wearily in my chair and wonder about what I shall say and whether the flock will listen.
They have not understood.

As I lay here on this cold winter's night
I begin to wonder what I have done wrong
That you could become so angered enough
To bash my head with glass
And kick me till my body
Was covered with bruises and blood
The blood that would never stop running
All I have to ask is why?
Why did you want to harm me so bad?
I had loved you with all of my heart
Because you were my master
And all I ever wanted to do was please you
My heart is full of pain
When I think of my beloved sister
We were sleeping so soundly together
When you grabbed her by the neck
And dragged her out the door
Her helpless cries pierced my ears
The ones that were caused
When you set her fur aflame
And let her burn away to ashes
Now I lay here wondering why?
Why did you have to torture her to death?
She loved you as much as I did
Because you were her master
And she never tried to disobey
My body is growing so cold and numb

My whole body buzzed with energy as I guided my car into the right lane. As cars sped past me, I glanced at their drivers and wondered if they could see my emotional state through the layers of tinted glass. Was there apprehension on my face, standing out as vividly as the freckles on her cheeks? Could he see that my nerves were rattling like the spare change in his cup holder? A quick glimpse in my rearview mirror reassured me that I looked mostly okay; the sleep-deprived bruises hadn't even had time to blossom under my eyes.
Amazingly, I felt better behind the wheel than I had while planning for the trip. Physically moving toward Michigan at least gave me something to focus on. But now that the plan had been drawn up and I was enacting it, the reality of my actions seized me. I was actually driving to another state to see a Harry Potter musical, without a ticket.

I will wish you a restful peace
And although on my mood you depend
I shall never my whim release
All the curtains will softly close
With a rustle of crispy gauze
And I'll sit at the hearthrug's rim
As you silently so repose
At the embers I wistfully look
But they tell me no secret words
Of the playthings you'll have in your nook
Or of where you may chase the birds ...
Yes, I know, this has all yet to be
After years upon years have passed
When you will be so wayward and free
And my palm will not hold you fast
But as yet you still sleep in my hand
And I ponder of what you dream
Of a far-away gone kitten land?
Or a saucer of holiday cream?
Of the future winnings, perchance
Earned in battles of tumbleweed life
And of springtime for your wedding dance
For alliance of husband and wife ...
And your eyes, they are tightly shut
And your breathing is lisping low
Sleepy-sleepy, my sweet, tut-tut
In the feather-down evening glow ...

A Very Potter Sequel was better than I ever expected. As a sequel, I was hoping that it would match the quality of the first show. I never guessed that it would be even better. I reacted so strongly to what was happening on stage that I was almost afraid that I'd annoy those sitting near me. But I couldn't hold back; the air in the room crackled with energy, and the audience was acting as a unit. The sense of community and shared emotions was addictive. We laughed together, and clapped together, and when we all knew the words to the final song, we sang together in a hundred voices. It was the most chaotic choir I'd ever heard, and it was beautiful.
After the show, the cast mingled with the fans to sign autographs and take pictures. I was stopping everyone I could find and asking them to sign my card. I was frantic in my requests, as if by forgetting to have s

Groggy, and confused, she clenched her eyes shut, pressing against her forehead to relieve the pain of the unrelenting, blinding light. "Ugh what time is it?"
Her back hurt. She opened her eyes, still fighting against the sight-hindering sun in order to study her surroundings.
She was laying on the ground, her wings trapped underneath her torso. She rolled over, and stood up, all the while cynically laughing at her own stupidity.
"Haha, must've fallen off," she said to herself.
Rainbow Dash haphazardly dusted herself off, and began making her way to Rarity's Boutique.

She couldn't help but wonder what Rainbow would use such a frilly, pink dress for, or why she needed it so soon. It wasn't often she'd receive rush orders, but then again it wasn't often Rainbow Dash of all ponies ordered anything from

Sonic Short Story
Night was fast approaching as Sonic ran along the old dirt road that led to his home. Dust trailed behind him like a giant cloud as his feet kicked it up. The hedgehog wasn't running nearly as fast as he could and not for the first time he grumbled about the dress shirt and jeans that his "date" had made him wear. Also not for the first time that evening, Sonic wondered why he'd even accepted Amy's offer. Well it was more of an order than an offer and how am I supposed to say no when she's got that big ol' hammer behind her back. Sonic reached up and rubbed the tender spot on his head from where Amy had given him a small "tap" to encourage the hedgehog. I guess that's one girl who won't take no for an answer. An itch had started to build on the insides of his leg as the jeans were starting to chafe his skin. They hadn't been made to withstand the speed that Sonic was going at. The hedgehog resisted the urge to stop although he knew h
