SecretsThe first time that John acted on his feelings toward Sherlock, was on a Tuesday night, (or perhaps early Wednesday morning), on one of the occasions where the detective was so deeply absorbed in his own mind, that he was oblivious to the outside world. The times when he forgot that John had left three hours ago or that he was in another city.Secrets2 years ago in Romance More Like This
John did it this way on purpose, as a test run. To see if he himself would like it. They had been working on a case, and the sleep deprivation and adrenaline rushes from just a few hours earlier had made John incredibly impulsive. He wasn't thinking straight, and so after Sherlock's mumbling had ceased to contemplative silence, his hands together to his lips, hunched over in his arm chair as usual, John came up behind him. He clenched his fists to steady himself, the nerves running through his body as rampant and as strongly as they had when he was a teen.
He stopped. Maybe this was a bad idea. He turned his head away and his body almost followed

My fist slammed the shot glass down after I downed its contents in one gulp. The liquid burned my throat going down but left a warm feeling in the pit of my stomach. A nod at the bartender and I found my glass filled again with the alcohol. My older brother Grant was sitting in the seat to the right of me; he was fidgeting with his phone and trying to drink at the same time. This proved to be an impossible task, especially in his intoxicated state. He only ended up spilling his shot all over himself, to the amusement of his girlfriend. I shook my head at how sloppy he was tonight. It was hard to believe we were even related. Then again, I had been downing shot for about an hour now so I probably didn't look any better than him at the moment.
After emptying my glass again, I tapped the table to get the bartenders attention. The short Hispanic man who had been serving my friends drinks was currently laughing at a stupid joke that my other brother Riley had made. He was slurring his words

Returning to the hotel for the night, I took a shower, putting my now bloody blouse in the washer machine a few rooms down. My entire body ached, especially my cheeks and arms where those crazy girls got at. After I had turned the water off, I stood there for a moment trying to relax from all the craziness. I've only been here for no more than a week, yet I've been through so many things. "Oh boy," I began talking to myself, "I don't know how much more I can take of this."
All dressed with my damp blond hair wrapped in a towel, I walked out of the bathroom. There was Caroline, my new roommate, sitting on her bed. It was a foot or two away from mine. She sat there brushing her long locks, wearing a polka dot nightgown and pants. Paul had invited her to stay with us as we continued the U.S tour. So now I have someone to talk to besides those crazy men. "More of what," She asked curiously.
Realizing what I had just said accidentally, I instantly responded with, "Oh nothing!" She knew that

The next morning, I woke up early in my hotel room, fully rested and refreshed. I did a quick stretch; then got out of my bed. Getting dressed, I grabbed some casual wear from my suitcase. I was wearing a maroon colored, short sleeved shirt. On the shirt was this logo of a designer company. I chose to match it with a pair of black corduroy pants. Very casual. After that, I briefly straightened my hair in the bathroom. I've got to look at least somewhat decent when going down to the lobby to get breakfast.
When I reached the lobby, I bought a newspaper that came out today. Guess what the top story was? "New talent along with the Fab Four" aka me! It was great! I couldn't wait to show Ringo. Basically, it was about how I'm traveling with the Beatles and why. Now back to what was going on. I headed to the café that was within the hotel. There I snatched some chow for breakfast, taking the bag back up to my room.
On the way back to the room, I somehow ran into George in the hallway. "

Sherlock leaned into John as their hands clasp each other.

Bolted to the cement ground in rows and columns.
Some are still empty
But most are filled with people grinning with anticipation
Drumming their fingers
Sending texts, making last-minute phone calls,
Talking to people beside them
Or simply just sitting in silence, emotions filling their heads
Waiting for the moment when it all begins to happen.
Returning to their seats with refreshments,
More people fill up the spaces
We climb the hard grey stairs up and up and up
Until you feel you can touch the nearest cloud
Farther up still until you find the place where you're supposed to be.
Not only the place that the slip of paper tells you
But the place that you feel you want to be,
need to be
and you are so, so glad to be there.
I hang the jacket over the back of my seat, and watch the sunset.
To the right of us, children scream in happiness,
And to the left of us, the sun is slowly setting, casting an orange glow on our faces
as we count down the minutes.

Sherlock looked over his shoulder to see John's small figure passed out in his chair, his mouth hanging open ever slightly and a small whistle leaving his mouth every time he took a breath. Sherlock sighed, nothing to do now. He continued to watch John, the rise and fall of his chest, the way his eyes would constantly flutter. A dream. He was having a dream. Sherlock hoped it was a good one, not one of those nightmares that would wake John, screaming to the point that the sound could be heard downstairs in the kitchen where Sherlock would be experimenting with whatever creature he could find in the fridge.
Sherlock stared at John as he shifted slightly in his chair and his mouth hung open little more. Sherlock smirked, only John could look utterly adorable while looking like a

I havent seen London in years. I think I was last here in 94. And even before I went into the service, we seldom visited the city. Mr. Hope sleeping while on watch isnt the best of ideas. Youll be relieved shortly, and may sleep then.
Aye, sir. Beg pardon, sir. Said the Lieutenant as he stood up and straightened out his uniform and then touched his knuckle to his hat. Sir, may I ask how long we will be in London?
I should think we will be spending much time there. The British are awful furious with me, and it will take awhil

It was dawn. The pilots slowly awakened from their sleep, what little of it they had last night, and got ready for the day ahead of them. A few shaved, but most just got into their uniforms. Those that were scheduled to go up first that day also got into their flight gear.
After breakfast, the men who were to go on patrol walked into the small briefing room; their helmets in their hands and the goggles and gloves inside the helmet. They sat and looked attentively at the map and listened as the officer spoke.
It would be a simple patrol that day; they would fly over the enemy lines and take notes of troop positions and movements. Enemy aircraft were not expected to be operating in the area at that time, so it would give the new pilots a chance to get used to their crafts without much risk, although there was s

It was rainy in the jungle that day. The only sounds that could be heard were the pitter-patter of the rain on the leaves of the jungle plants, the croaking of some tree frogs, and the mating calls of exotic jungle birds. The peace was to be shattered soon.
Two large Zubr-class hovercrafts approached, the sound of their engines driving away the birds that lived in the trees they hit. The side of one of the hovercrafts was spray painted with the slogan, Fix to Fight while the other was stenciled with a red star.
As the two craft approached a makeshift dock, they were greeted by men dressed in olive drab uniforms and pith helmets members of the Peoples Army of Viet Nam.
The hovercraft with the red star was the first to land. A man in a red uniform, wearing a gas mask and carrying an AK-47 leapt out of the vehicle, followed by similarly equipped men in khaki uniforms.

Luke Skywalker was having one of those days.
His vision was slightly blurred, but he was walking at a steady pace, not missing a single step in the form of march he had learned. It kept him ready for action without exhausting him too much, while giving him a fair amount of speed.
He could feel the force all around him, in the air, in the ground, beneath his feet. Everywhere. And he felt it so close to him so close almost as if he could reach out and grab it, hold it in his arms.
Luke carried on walking. It was some time in the afternoon, by the look of the sun. He looked closer. No, not the sun, the suns. There were two suns, one of them setting, the other one rising. Almost like Tatooine, Luke thought with a laugh.
Suddenly, he felt very strange. He was walking through the Tatooine desert. Luke thought hard, and suddenly he realized he couldn't remember where he was. Where he had been, was more like it.
He spotted some Tusken Raiders gath

Thomas Errington 2, Chapter 1Midshipman George Pollet had been asleep for almost the entire voyage back from London. He was allowed to by his Captain because the lad was severely depressed and wasnt feeling well. The poor child had eaten a very special meat pie while in London.
