Entrance To The Dark Forest
Come in, come in...
Why go back home, why turn around?
The forest calls.. Can’t you hear the sound?
Come in, come in...
There is nothing to lose, and everything to win;
for this, this is not like anywhere you've ever been.
Here the trees twist, the branches twine
the twigs crack, the leaves rustle.
You won't get far, not moving a muscle.
Don't be afraid...
You could always stay
just till darkness falls?
Move.. come on, the forest calls!
Go on, and don't look back
Just follow the track, step by step.
No need to bring water, no need to bring bread

I'm too afraid to say your name,
I think you'd think I was weird if you realized
That guy that barely knows you
And that you've only talked to once or twice,
Is writing about you right now.
If all goes steady,
Then you had better get used to it.
It's slowly progressing in little steps
But I know soon enough it'll fade for awhile,
It still feels so distant,
And the tension is building.
I'm building up hope
And tension is beginning to stress
Note to Self:
I've found that maybe my worst enemy
Is my reaction to what one person says
Rather than falling back upon
What several other people say.
It's been three months since I started
And I still feel so far,
Something new in our lives is about to start,
Depending upon you,
It could be something great
Or something horrendous.
There is a very high probability
That this will be horrendous.
Everything has seemed to gone downhill

You just won't be able to get it this time."
"I can't take it anymore, don't you get that? I'm just this stupid, fat, ugly screw-up that no one loves!"
"I guess I'm no one then "
"Why did you just take my picture?"
"Simple. You're glowing, and it's beautiful."
"Did it hurt?"
"Did what hurt?"
"When you finally fell head over heels for him?"
"I can finally say it, after all this time I love you."
"Give me your heart, I'll keep it safe and sound, I promise."
"You're like the moon Pale, mysterious, beautiful "
"You're the most inexplicable kind of beauty. You're desperately beautiful."
""Though it may hurt to have your heart broken in two, that didn't stop me from falling for you.""
"And I'm just so afraid that those 'I love you's' were just what they were words."
"That's the easy part, falling in love. It's what yo
tell me something that mattersyesterday, you were sorting through your pullover sweaters waiting for the winter to come as you thought about how you never feel warm even with your hands tucked into stretched out sleeves. you were wearing your favorite cardigan, buttoned sloppily down the middle so that the sides hung unevenly as you sorted through your even sloppier feelings.tell me something that matters6 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
tell me something that matters.
tonight, youre in love with this wool coat that buttons uneasily and has pockets with holes in them so you lose both your rhymes and your reasons. youre finally realizing that your favorite song is the tune hummed by train horns at 2:40 am since you can hear the sound while you're lying awake thirteen blocks and four houses away thinking about how that was the backdrop to your late night romances in his house that lies parallel to the train tracks. youre convincing yourself that your heart isnt broken and you wear that coat even though it makes you sneeze since its dusty with memori

The clock struck nine
The illusion of a beautiful woman
What madness can this be?
She is calling out to me
My name my name on her lustful lips
And now my hands pressed on her hips
Oh! Her smile! Her caress!
That croon which must be blessed!
The clock struck ten
The temptations of a temptress
This woman, so beautiful in every way,
With my heart, she does recklessly play
Her eyes so dark, yet brightly glowing
Her hair so soft and gently flowing
Her skin so silky cannot be soiled
But to the touch, is so deathly cold
The clock struck eleven
The prayer without the belief
What this gorgeous being is, I don't bother
Yet hold silent prayer to our heavenly father
But now's not the time to worry with such strife
For tonight may be the rest of my ungodly life
My heart beats profoundly in my chest
"I love you" my words solemnly confessed
The clock struck twelve
The love of a man unloved
"Of course you do" my love left unreturned
But with her so near, I was unco

This is wrong. Very, very wrong.
Im gazing out his kitchen window, watching the summer grass blow lazily in the wind.
His soft voices echoes in the room, trying to soothe her.
Its so odd hearing his voice like this.
Its usually loud, vibrant, strong.
He sounds so small now.
He doesnt understand what the real problem is. Obviously.
I can hear her low, muttering voice coming from the other end of the line.
I dont care about her, anyway.
Yeah, we talk.
We chat, giggle, smile in that stupid, hesitant way.
That way where neither person is sure of the other's motives.
But we dont care.
My mind flickers.
Im standing in a different kitchen, different house, different time.
Same phone call, same disapproval, same disappointing heartache.
Youre my two favorite girls his voice floats, patient and gentle, only for her to respond ind
